Unique and haunting plot that will break your heart in a good way
This was one of the most unique plots I've come across in c- or k-dramas. The mystery is intriguing. It's easy to like the characters and feel empathy for them. The stories are beautifully heartbreaking. I usually steer clear of shows that are bittersweet, but this one was worth it. Que preciosidade eu encontrei!!!!!!!!!! Na minha meta de assistir todos os dramas do Geonhee, acabei assistindo um dos dramas mais bonitos do mundo. Missing é emocionante do começo ao fim. Não sou uma pessoa emotiva, choro com poucas coisas, mas Missing tocou em partes que foi difícil segurar as lágrimas. Amei cada personagem e sua história. Amei como tudo foi contado com carinho e respeito, mesmo sendo apenas personagens, são histórias que podem pertencer a alguém real e contá-las dessa maneira foi muito bonito. Sem palavras para expressar o quão feliz e entretida eu fui durante esses 12 episódios ❤️ Recomendo muito pra quem gosta de dramas maduros e com mistério (e muito plot twist!).Was this review helpful to you?
You will really fall for the village people and great investing team
The story is very captivating, and I did not get bored. The first episodes were so funny, and I laughed so hard. It is a shame it didn't hold up throughout the whole drama. I love the storyline and how they built a great team to catch the bad guys and find the missing. It is nice to see how they unfolded the main case and the connections between characters, even if the story is predictable. I like that you get to know the story of each character. I thought it would be more fantasy, but the fantasy/mystery part is not that big in the drama.The only negative was the editing, as it went suddenly from one scene to another, without knowing what is going on.
I definitely recommend it as the concept is new. I cannot wait to watch season 2!

Inoffensive but Swiss cheese plot holes
It’s a part murder mystery, part supernatural, part romance and part comedy. So as expected, it doesn’t excel in any. I’m constantly wondering where the show’s headed.I liked the premise of a town full of lost dead people whose bodies are yet to be recovered. The ML somehow stumbles upon this town and it turns out, he can see dead people. He takes it upon himself to stay there and get himself wrapped up in their affair.
The biggest fault of the show, beside the slow pacing and Swiss cheese plot holes is that the ML could’ve prevented (at least greatly minimize) so much of what happens by simply mentioning that he saw Yeo Na being kidnapped to the detective. But he continues to keep his mouth shut about so many things. This show literally could have been done in 4 episodes. There’s no clear reason why he keeps his silence knowing that what he knows could help others. What’s funny is that even other characters in the show ask him why! It’s just so bizarre and frustrating.

This one was tough to write about actually because it had the ingredients to be pretty decent so it's hard to describe or pinpoint what was missing from it. Despite some heart-warming scenes and bonding moments, it somehow felt shallow at the same time. It didn't help that the main character was also pretty obnoxious and unappreciative.
I would normally stick with a series if at least one or two aspects were done well enough especially because this one has a relatively short number of episodes. But the overall feel of this one just didn't intrigue much, and less so with each episode. Onward to the continuous search of good series that involves the afterlife and/or spirits.

Tragic
The drama is about the missing people and doesn't miss to portray how tragic it is for them and their family throughout the show.I really liked it. The show was quite predictable about the characters, like we know who is related to who, who killed who.But you can't predict how this is going to unfold to reach to revelation. And it was heart-wrenching to watch everytime, even if you know already what will happen.
I really like the chemistry of duo kim wook and jang pan seok. I loved jang pan seok. He represented the suffering of a family member of missing person impeccably.The story of yeo na and joon ho was equally heartbreaking.The idea of the community they have created together was unique. The village setting was beautiful, especially the flower field. The child actors did the marvelous job.
I thought the show is going to be serious and heartbreaking and it was, but still it has funny moments, carried by our duo and sometimes trio.
I really don't like only one thing about this drama that characters try to withhold information from each other, especially kim wook.
But overall, it was a unique concept. And I really liked this drama, because of the characters I'd say.So, if you are having a mood for good cry, go for it.

Amazing...
I honeslty absolute loved this drama and it has become one of my favs for sure ! Im writing this after watching season 2 as well so i will be comparing quite a lot and will try to minimise spoilers as much as i can.I much preferred the first season to the second one tbh there was so much more development, hope and a bond between the viewer and the characters. It was so well directed and the acting was *chefs kiss* . It dealt with such a sensitive topic perfectly. I cant deny the feelings of joy and comedy felt bittersweet a lot of the time knowing that 1) the characters were dead and 2) will most likely dissapear soon but despite that, it ended so (painfully) beautifully.
Season 2 was also good don't get me wrong but i hated thay it had such an open ending and years later its still not confirmed if there will be a season three or not ? If so then that ending leaves much hope for a thrilling start to the new season....

Logo de cara se ver um vibe Hotel del Luna, Ghost, mais puxado para o segundo em minha opinião, então qual o diferencial aqui? As almas foram humanizadas, diferentes dos outros do gênero que os mostra como fantasmas horrorosos, elas podem sentir dor, comer, dormir, sonhar, menos sair da vila e não posso esquecer que todo núcleo fora dela também tem grande importância a narrativa.
Aliás a vila onde os espíritos vão após a morte ter sua particularidades, nela se cria uma simulação de algum lugar relacionado com eles vivos (coisas que estão em sua memória), quando seus corpos são achados eles desaparecem. Se um criminoso morre e vai para vila pode machucar os que estão lá, menos os que estão vivos. Lá as almas são recepcionadas por Thomas, dono do café Havaí, que simpaticamente os guia, com certeza meu personagem favorito.
Imagino que ao escrever isso pareça um spoiler, mas acredite é só a ponta do iceberg, há tanto acontecendo nesse dorama, as estórias emocionantes. Confesso que as vezes torci até o fim para estarem vivas de alguma forma, por senti a injustiça.
Está sendo difícil desapegar, realmente a única parte que é ruim é só ter doze episódios, aliás se a OCN quiser fazer outra temporada, eu não iria reclamar.

Quero uma segunda temporada!
Este foi o primeiro drama coreano que vi, deste género. E adorei!Nada de protagonistas femininas tontas é já por si só uma mais valia!
A história está muito bem concebida, com a sua dose de mistério, sobrenatural e das vidas entrelaçadas dos protagonistas e mesmo dos actores secundários.
Todos os actores desempenharam lindamente os seus papéis e o final é meio inesperado.
Sem dúvida que voltarei a rever esta série e espero que haja uma segunda temporada, vale a pena!

Comecei a assistir esse drama apenas para passar o tempo porém logo no inicio precebi que era algo muito promissor e eu estava certíssima.A cada episódio que passava eu ficava ansiosa pelo próximo e assim devorei todo drama em um dia e meio de tão viciante que foi. A história me prendeu do início ao fim, com suspence e ação que te faz vibrar o tempo todo. Nunca vi um titulo que caiu tão bem quanto desse drama, acompanhar a história dos mortos foi triste e gratificante ao mesmo tempo, poder ver o outro lado da história foi bem interessante, não só o desesperos dos vivos para encontrar seus entes queridos mais também ver as angustias e preocupações de quem partiu.
Estranhamente eu não gostei muito do protagonista masculino o que era golpista achei ele chato na maioria do seu tempo em tela porém não atrapalhou a história.
Em fim recomendo grandemente que você assista este drama, tem bastante conteudo seu enredo é bom as atuações não deixam nada a desejar , as histórias dos personagens são tristes mais mesmo assim você tira uma ou duas ou várias lições de cada uma.
