Not A Bad Story !

I love this drama but some scenes made me very mad and I just skip them. The lead characters were great. The female character was strong, demanding and pushy but had a good heart and her weaknesses that she only show them to the lead male character. The lead male character was sweet and understanding who love family and the family value. The chemistry between them was fabulous. The story had many weak and boring areas. I just skip them. The basic large company that someone is wanting to take down. It surprise when it was successful and the family became just an ordinary family. I did not like when they do not trust each other to communicate with each other about what is happening. Once you become a couple you do trust and communicate. I love the 2nd couple but I wish they had more of a story together and became a couple a little sooner. The chemistry among the actors was great and so was their performance. I love the little boy and he stole the drama in the episodes he was in.

I will not be beginning this drama again.

dropped after about 23 eps. i personally found it too boring, but i can see why people like this drama. acting was great, couple was cute but it was just a bit bland for me. storyline took ages to move and when it did, it felt like it didn’t? i didn’t feel any attachment to the characters to sit this one through (especially hearing about the later 6 year time skip). if this was about 24 eps, i think i would have finished it.
maybe i’ll pick up when i have nothing else to watch but for now, it’s a no from me.

no, just...... no

this drama is rage bait at its PEAK. the female lead character is written by a bored TEENAGER. i could not take this drama seriously for even one second. the female lead is soooooooo annoyingly stupid and toxic. none of her actions should be justified. i mean who is their right mind tries to trick a GROWN ADULT into sleeping with them to have a child so that they can develop a project. also the poor main lead was strait up getting assulted by the woman.
the acting of the main lead is also veryyyyyyyy weak. he has three expressions through out the first 22 episodes (dont know about the rest since i dropped the drama)
this drama makes me believe that their are too many funds available. this could have easily been a mini series due to the lack of sense. the overall experience was so lame that i got so uninterested in even finding out the whole point..

Did Not Deserve

Some people easily gave good rating for a drama that didn't actually deserve. It wouldn't be fair for any other drama with good or even excellent storyline.

Begin Again was just another Chinese Drama with cliché story. I know I didn't expect something spectacular but at least, please be reasonable! How could the story be so shallow: the stalker episodes, the office politics episodes, and the bla-bla-bla years later after the office turbulence episodes like... ha?? Really??). The only good point from this drama is Zhou Yutong's acting (and the kid's acting, maybe, as I discontinued to watch it when the kid appeared). I dropped it at 10-more-episodes-to-go cause I simply didn't wanna hurt my sense.

So You Think You Love Me But Can I Trust You?

I will not list events blow-by-blow just one or two tidbits because there is way too much to unpack in this long drama.

The biggest question and why for me is...why does the 2nd lead guy claim to love and want the 1st lead girl so bad while sabotaging everything she does while being conniving and manipulative to break her and the 1st lead guy up in the hope to make her his own? What is really sad is that it will never happen for him. He has two women very much in love with him and he treated them like a big pile of $%!#. Why do the two 2nd lead women want a man like that? Just baffling and crazy. At least the one girl had sense enough to cry her tears and finally let him go and leave. Well, I hope I am only at episode 23. I started strolling through the 2nd lead girl self-sacrificing for this man as he cares nothing about her and told her to her face and she still yapping about "I love you and I don't care if you don't love me" BS. Just sickening.

The other thing that bowls me over was the lead girl assistant working against her OMG that level of betrayal is at another level.

Super strong female charisma attracts me badly!!!

It is my favourite type of melodrama with strong female character & cool handsome male leads.
Great chemistry between the leads makes me flutter & sweet...

The drama is about a marriage story between a strong & rich CEO Lu Fang Ning and her chosen perfect man, Dr. Lin...

LFN is a lady with over confidence & cold-hearted personality who works so hard to get approval of her capability. Because of her dad’s forced advice of marriage & having a child, she decided to plan a one year contract marriage with a perfect man and get a child with him.

She accidently met Lin Rui at hospital & chase him & forced him to marry her...Lin Rui has quite straight & honest personality & didn’t agree with her first. However, he finally agreed her to marry as he found out she was the one he used to know when he was young & wanted to know her more. But, LFN didn’t know about that & thought he agreed because of loan problem.

LFN tried so hard to get LR by using various ways but don’t get him even after marriage. When LR got to know the truth that LFN just wants a baby with him and will end their marriage after one year anyway, he rejected to cooperate with her. He thinks her idea is totally ridiculous & quite upsetting him as he desires her to keep him even after one year marriage.. He believes that only the true love between parents can bring up children well...

On the way of LFN chasing LR, he will make her believe love & fall in love with him.. awww xo xo sweet & funny...

The second ML is Lu Fang Ning’s little uncle who was adopted to Lu family since young & cares LFN a lot. Lin Rui is jealous when LFN gets close to SML and it seems he loves her unnoticedly & his actions tell it all haha... But, SML will has his own love line with a cute company staff girl who likes him after several incidences..

I expect all the love lines in this drama will be quite interesting & have more points to watch...

High Highs, Boring Lows

The beginning of this drama is hilarious. I found there to be a lot of laugh out loud moments but I was also VERY confused. I'm not sure if that's due to poor translation but I was also confused by the way they acted towards each other.

It seemed like they both like each other but I guess she didn't fall for him right away like I had thought(?), she just wanted to have a baby with him (?). Although I'm still confused why he kept denying her when he was clearly jealous of Simon...

I found the constant back and forth of feelings for each other to be exhausting. One minute Rui is trying to break off the contract, the next minute he's jealous of Simon. Jealous enough to ask her for them into the apartment but won't sleep in the same room with her. Then there's Fang Ning who sometimes appears to have feeling for Rui but then other times only seems to want to have his baby. It's a bit annoying trying to keep up with their seemingly every changing thoughts/feelings. Which thread am I supposed to follow here? 😫

Then came Episode 13 which made me want to cry for Fang Ning. "I feel insecure everyday... I hate you" That whole scene feels so raw.

I was really bored with the Fang Ning business drama. To me it seemed incredibly reaching. The guy became her assistant for 3 years because he blames her for her sister’s death..??? At this point I was holding onto this drama by a tiny thread.

Then came the SIX YEAR jump. (I hate time jumps in general) Luckily, the story does seem to pick up a bit between Rui and Fang Ning but the side story for Tang Ping is dreadfully boring. Simon and Cai Si Yu are pretty cute though...

Overall I liked Rui and Fang Ning as a couple and the actors have great chemistry delivering some adorable and laugh out loud moments but the lows were just too low for me.

Would I Recommend? There are better romances out there
Would I Re-Watch? No.

Original, funny and absolutely charming

What a great surprise. The take on contract marriage is very original. This charming light-hearted drama made me smile and laugh throughout. Zhou Yu Tong, The main actress plays her role to perfection, she’s solar, extremely cute and funny despite her assertiveness, a great character hiding her sensitivity behind an armour. Now One of my favorite FL in a drama…and I regret that we don’t see more of ZYT in dramas on Viki.
Because she needs to get married and have a baby within a year, she has a way to try and seduce Gung Jun (before and) after their wedding which is just hilarious, …until he understands that it’s all for the show, because she never had a boyfriend and gets scared as soon as he plays along. So it’s not the regular storyline of they live together and slowly fall in love…
I must say that Gung jun, if not perfect, has a way to look at her that does the trick, his eyes can truly sparkle and shine love… the second ML who was a model before being an actor, is extremely handsome… which adds to the pleasure of watching this drama ;)

ড্রামাটি একটি শক্তিশালী এবং ধনী সিইও লু ফ্যাং নিং এবং তার নির্বাচিত নিখুঁত ব্যক্তি ডক্টর লিংগের মধ্যেকার একটি মিষ্টি বিবাহের সম্পর্কে উপর নির্মিত। যার প্রতিটি এপিসোডে ভাঙ্গন এবং গড়নের প্রতিটি ধাপ খুব সুন্দর ভাবে ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে। এছাড়াও দ্বিতীয় লিড জুটিকে আমার খুব পছন্দ হয়েছে। ফ্যাং নিংর আংকেল সাইমনও বেশ আকর্ষণীয় সুপুরুষ বটে।

আমার মতে এই বছরের অন্যতম সেরা প্লট সঙ্গে মিষ্টি এবং উষ্ণ সমাপ্তি।
এই ড্রামাটি ২/৩ বার অনায়াসে দেখার মত। আর ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড ost গুলো বেশ সুন্দর, ছিমছাম ও অর্থপূর্ণ।
সুদর্শন ডক্টর লিংগ এবং ধনী সিইও লু ফ্যাং নিং এর বৈবাহিক মিষ্টান্নতা উপভোগ্য করতে আমি ড্রামা দেখার আমন্ত্রণ জানাচ্ছি।

Cliche but Cliche at best!

This drama is so good...!!!
Story is a bit cliche but they make the best of it!

At first, I fall in love with the FL, I think she's one of the coolest FL I ever watched! She's so sly but actually fit her role as ceo..?! I love her styling that changed from cool to warmer style during her (also) changing character! But then the more episode comes, I just found that the ML is one of the most green flag ML ever, & he deserves the love! I wasnt really into his character at the beginning, but who knows that he's just a sincere guy we all need...! He's the type of man who is just a good man trying to live his life as a noble person! No more red flag boy I'm bored, It's green flag man era! ❤️❤️❤️

Romance is very very good!!! Quite satisfied with the amount of romance in it!
Story filler is not too much story quite on point, I just make 2x speed for few scenes only, not much skipped scenes
ML's feeling to FL looks so sincere, I can feel my heart beats faster everytime they had romance scenes 😳

Some bad editing, I find the revealing of some background stories feels a bit rough, they can make it more captivating but yeah, its still bearable

Dont read too much negative reviews about this drama... Believe me this story is much better than some series with the same rating! You will love it!
