Confusing plot

So the pretty girl's father knows the geeks older sister therefore she was extending courtesy. This led to her telling the geek and the girl in blacks past. Girl in black was a thief in high school and a heart breaker in the first year of university although the geek doesn't believe this (neither do i). The girl in black pushes him away. The geek confronts the girl in black and tells her he understands loneliness that is why he wants to be everyones friend including hers. She indirectly agrees by saying they should meet at the library for their final project. He gets lost on the way to the library and she goes to find him and threatens his life in the process. Girl in black is frustrated as she has never seen such an incompetent 20 year old (I am as frustrated honestly.) The go for dinner where Geek sheds some light in his past and his ideal life experience this touches her heart. He then says some shit about her dumping her boyfriend because he was poor this dampens the mood. They make plans to meet at the school entrance when he misreads the meaning of her kindness by calling her a good friend. They meet the next day and take the bus after much begging on the geeks part. He explains he's come to university to experience a lot of firsts. They get to library and have a fight that resulted in him being unconscious, on their way out they meet the three beauties who give him an ultimatum them or girl in black. At this point girl in black takes matters into her hands and say they're dating and steals a kiss as proof. Geek on the other hand is in daises as his first kiss has been stolen. They fall out and he says her behaviour is why no one likes her. She attempts hitting thing him but he asks "what are you doing?" this makes her refrain from the hit and runs away instead. He gets back to his room to get some insight from his roommates only to get more confused. He attempts talking to her the next day but she just ignores him, after class they have the confrontation and decide not to speak to each other except when they do the research paper.
