Both are about bullied boys that are ... hopeless ... then the punk girl comes in and changes him, both very good love stories , but I find "Hi my Sweetheart" much more enjoyable to watch

very close plot about a geek dumped by his fiancee transformed to a hot successful man and comes back seeking revenge

-Both shows feature Show Luo in a romance with a lead actress from Taiwan
-Both shows use simplistic Taiwanese phrases and languages

HMS portrays a unique pairing with an extremely nerdy Lin Da Lung and becomes far more of a comedy. Also, HMS focuses only on the main couples interactions.

Both are dramas with Rainie Yang as the main lead. That already makes both worth watching. Both also gives you a GREAT laugh filled with some tears in it. Rainie Yang's charas in both dramas are so different that it makes you really appreciate her skills. Watch them and be captivated by them ~
