Great Drama!
This drama was amazing! I think there has been something in every drama I've ever watched that drove me nuts or a character that I hated but this drama didn't have any of that for me. I think they got every single thing about it right. I thought all the cast was amazing and had awesome chemistry together. I can't say enough good things about this but I will not say them here because you should enjoy it for yourself with no spoilers. I will just say that if you like a good romance and a little comedy on the side, this one is for you.Was this review helpful to you?
My favorite Cdrama overall!
I can't believe how much I loved this drama. The story is simple, with hardly any drama between their relationship, which I liked. But what gripped me is the chemistry between Cong Rong and Shaoqing. They were sizzling! Hope to see more series from these 2 in the future! In general, most of the characters were really likeable. If I have to give one negative comment, I would have to say that the SFL overacted a bit, to the point that her character seemed forced.
But overall, that tiny detail did not take away the fact that this is still my fave series!

perfect for light watching
Happiness in a very cute pill. This is a light series that would not let you down no matter how many times you watch it. While it is the typical "fate will find its way back to you" plot, this has a good balance of romance, comedy, drama, and I cannot stress this enough - fair airtime of both FL and SL couples which actually is one of the aspects that makes me say that it is a good movie or series. I bet the audience is not only rooting for the FLC but also for the SLC.Oh, I think a lot of ladies would really get the "OMG who to choose, the lawyer or the doctor? Why can't I just have them both?" kind-of feel in this series. However, being the bibliophile that I am, I'm sticking to the bookstore owner. LoL!

The best chemistry!!
This drama is so sweet so cute so fluffy, it just makes your heart flutter when you watch it!The chemistry between ML and FL is so strong! I think it really helps when actors have acted in previous dramas together or when they are already friends. ML and FL previously acted in Please put your head on my shoulder (another superb drama). To be very honest, in that drama I didn’t have a good impression of ML probably because of the character he portrayed. His visuals Is also So much better in this drama.
ML improved tremendously in this drama you can really feel and understand what his character is feeling. FL is one of my favorite Cdrama actress so she performed exceptionally well as always.
The second couple is really commendable as well! Their story is so cute to watch!
Also, rather than being just a sweet love story, this drama also gives a special hidden message of following your dreams and goals as well as protecting those of your loved ones.
Definitely recommended to watch if you love light hearted dramas!
Also, this drama can be watched on YouTube with minimal silent parts (10s for like 3 of the episodes then none) which is a problem for a lot of Cdramas on YouTube.

Fluff Overload!
‘My Little Happiness’ made me so giddy while watching it. This modern cdrama stars Fair Xing and Daddi Tang who previously worked together in ‘Put Your Head on My Shoulder’ as the FL and SML. In PYHOMS, I thought that the two had zero chemistry but they truly made me eat my words because phew, the chemistry between them in this was pure fire. The plot is quite simple and cliche but I think that’s apart of its charm. Daddi Tang’s character, Wen Shao Qing, is an accomplished doctor who only has eyes for his childhood crush. Coincidentally, his first love turns out to be Fair Xing’s character, Cong Rong who is an aspiring lawyer. She ends of working at the hospital where Wen Shao Qing works and right from the start he is smitten but Cong Rong has no idea that he was the little boy she liked as a child.
Alongside Cong Rong and Wen Shao Qing, we also have an adorable side couple. Zhou Cheng Cheng is Cong Rong’s best friend and is known for being very wild/fickle. She opens up a restaurant next to Wen Shao Qing’s uncle Wen Rang. Right off the bat Cheng Cheng gets under Wen Rang’s skin.
The one thing I really loved about this drama is that I adored both the main leads and side couple equally which is rare for me. I usually skip certain plot lines but with this I was so invested that I didn’t skip a single scene. Both couples were very steamy and not shy at showing intimacy. Especially the lead couples. They were so steamy that the production team had to shorten most of the kiss scenes because of how heated it got.
I do admit that I was not invested in the plots about being a lawyer or doctor but honestly they weren’t terrible I just only cared about the romance and friendship between our four leads. Which, by the way, I really loved the emphasis on the friendship between Cong Rong/Cheng Cheng and Shao Qing/Wen Rang. Even the side characters was delightful! My favorite was Zhong Zen (Cong Rong’s cousin) because he constantly is dragged around as a third wheel (well...fifth wheel toward the end of the drama). In theory, ‘My Little Happiness is not a 10 star drama but it was so wholesome, cute, and fluffy. I rate according to how a drama made me feel and since I loved every second of this drama I had to give it 10/10.
In conclusion: give ‘My Little Happiness’ a try if you want a mature romance with a ton of skin ship!

Full of cliche, Sweet but typical Lovey dovey story
Though it was a common love story with full of cliches with no misunderstanding.. if You like some rom com types stuffs here you go... It has Romantic scenes more than i wad expecting... but Typical Storyline with no Creativity... like Childhood sweetheart things ..But the reason i watched it only for the actress... In PYHOMS i was not satisfied with Daddi Tang (Fu pie) performance.. but i was really astonished with his performance in MLH as Dr. Wen.. And Fair xing is always amazing. .. All the characters which are done by her is my fav..
So i thing they really made a good chemistry... But still somehow I REALLY MISSED MY GU WEYI ( LIN YI)
but storyline was so poor and typical that i watched each episode with a 2/3 days gap.. bcoz i didn’t have that much interest... But it was sweet and romantic..

A RARE 10/10!
Usually when I watch dramas, if they score high it's because of the actors/actresses and the fact that I can overlook the plot flaws just because I'm watching people I like on TV.I was a huge PYHOMS fan, and when I saw that Daddi Tang and Xing Fei were paired up I immediately laughed and said "how could I ever watch this...".
The first few episodes were a little awkward for me because of my loyalty to PYHOMS, but slowly I came around to this pairing. And now I think I like My Little Happiness more than PYHOMS. Here's why:
The chemistry and romance for both couples was impeccable. I never see such well matched chemistry and I'm not sure I will ever again. The characters were so natural with each other - at times you forgot that it was acting! And there were tons of kissing scenes (which was a bonus haha) I especially liked the second couple - something I rarely pay attention to in dramas - and they carried out their roles so well. I found myself secretly rooting for them on the side the whole time! And our second female lead - Zhou Chengcheng - I usually don't like seeing those types in plots, but she carried out the character so well that I couldn't find any way to dislike her. The FL's cousin was also a great secondary character. I was laughing the whole time - there were so many comedic scenes and they were executed so well and naturally.
Production and plot was off the charts in this drama - Tencent spent big money and it shows... From the hospital set to the wedding, everything was just... wow. Editing didn't feel awkward, and I didn't press the fast forward button once. I truly, truly appreciated how the writers did not have our leads break up - a very rare find in drama land. Instead, they acted like adults and worked their issues out.
Definitely give this one a watch.

I recommend this drama to anyone who needs something light and very enjoyable to watch.Let’s start with the main couple - Cong Rong & Wen Shao Qing. Their relationship was sweet and comforting from beginning to end. They liked each other almost from the very beginning, and once they became a couple, there wasn’t a single moment where they doubted the value of their relationship. There were no unnecessary arguments or melodrama between them (well, there was one pointless argument, but it wasn’t serious), just a sweet, almost perfect relationship between two people who fit each other incredibly well and loved each other deeply. Watching them was a pleasure, and their chemistry was wonderful. Aside from the sweetness, they also had HOT scenes - their kisses were genuinely good. They were each other’s priority. They valued each other’s well-being more than their own and fought for it. Most importantly, they knew how to listen to each other and talk to each other. It’s also worth mentioning that their story began in childhood. Sweet - but also a little scary - was the fact that he waited for a girl he had known only briefly as a child for so many years. :D
Now let’s move to the second couple - Zhou Cheng Cheng & Wen Rang. They were opposites. She was loud, open, emotional - though her feelings weren’t always stable. He was quiet, distant, cold, closed-off, and pining for his ex for about ten years. Here we got much more drama, which wasn’t a downside. We gradually watched him open up to her. Feelings slowly started to develop, which threw him into emotional chaos, because he had been waiting for another girl for years. And of course, that girl had to appear. That’s when he realized his true feelings were for Zhou - but it was already too late to stop the snowball that had started rolling. Although honestly, it could have been stopped with a conversation, but in their case communication didn’t come naturally; they had to learn it - especially him. Despite everything, their relationship was interesting to watch, and the drama between them felt natural rather than exhausting. The two couples were a perfect contrast and complemented each other well.
However, with Zhou Cheng Cheng and Wen Rang I found two small flaws. First: Zhou still doesn’t know that the kiss in the taxi actually happened and wasn’t just a dream. Second: I really wanted more scenes between them after they officially got together! Everywhere it says they were also a main couple, but they definitely felt much more like a secondary one.
Now let’s talk about the admirers of these two couples. The ones connected to the main couple were perfectly fine. They knew when to give up. Qin Chu caused some chaos at first, but stepped back when she noticed the two were into each other, and she was actually kind and supportive afterward. Shangguan Yi didn’t exactly back off, but he wasn’t harmful. He threw in a few comments here and there, but quickly stepped back and behaved normally. Though I’ll admit, I wish we’d gotten a scene where he confessed his feelings to the heroine, because then she would’ve realized that the main lead’s jealousy was justified.
But when it comes to the “admirer” - the ex-girlfriend - of the second male lead, she was extremely annoying. Completely self-centered, even though she treated him like trash. She didn’t know when to stop, even after seeing he had turned toward another girl, and desperately kept trying to get close to him despite him showing not even a hint of interest. In my opinion, she was the only irritating character in the entire series.
The last point I want to address is the families. The best, of course, were the female lead’s mother and her stepfather, but the male lead’s parents and his grandparents - who were the second male lead’s parents - were equally wonderful. Watching scenes with all of them was genuinely pleasant. As for the others, they were fine/neutral, and we didn’t get any extremely annoying or toxic characters (though the second female lead’s parents were toxic at the beginning).
I’ll also mention the female lead’s cousin - Zhong Zhen. Overall, I’m a fan of his personality; he made me laugh many times. A wonderful character with one flaw. I wanted to tear him apart and swore I’d name him my enemy of the series if he interrupted the main couple’s HOT scene one more time - luckily for him, he didn’t.

Adorable Contemporary Romance
My Little Happiness is an adorable romantic comedy with charming characters and sweet romances. The leads have amazing chemistry together, and their romance was meticulously built over the twenty-eight episode run. While the two encountered their fair share of drama, it came across as relatable considering it being their very first romantic relationship. Other romantic partners pop up from time to time, but the two leads are end game from the very first episode. The secondary leads also sizzled on screen despite their more tumultuous relationship. I love to watch a romance with tons of skinship, and this show delivered big time. Expect lots of hugs, hand holding, and kissing once relationships move toward romance. While the romance is the main focus of the story, all of the characters had interesting and dynamic lives. I enjoyed all of their multifaceted dynamics with one another - as individuals, as romantic partners, and as friends. Was this review helpful to you?

-misunderstanding are dealt with maturity
-so, so much chemistry that will make you forever ship them together (like Lin Yi from Put Your Head on My Shoulder can not compete at all)
-healthy relationship
-2nd leads do not meddle that much
Cons:
-A little anxiety in the end, but that's common for dramas
-lipstick is weird
Overall:
If you are a bit sad lately or just craving some sugar, watch this and you'll be smiling. Trust me, you will not regret watching!

Absolutely Perfect
This drama is in my all-time favorites. If you are looking for a sugary sweet watch with a simple romance story and a healthy relationship, this is it. I've re-watched this one so many times and still cannot get over it.PROS: Great story, I was never confused with what was going on. Kind male lead with a smart female lead who supported each other through everything. Super cute height difference. No long, drawn out breakup - the only fight between ML and FL was because he got jealous, but it was resolved super quickly and sweetly. The ending scenes are just too cute for words.
CONS: I can't find another drama to watch that hooked me as much as this one!
All in all, it checked off everything I love in a drama, it had a great number of episodes for me, I enjoyed every minute and will definitely be keeping it in my rewatch list. Also loved the interaction between parents and grandparents, the wedding was beautiful and the little ones at the end melted my heart.
Note: I watched this one before PYHOMS - I will say seeing the ML from this drama as the SML there was a very difficult adjustment.
