Flower of Evil

악의 꽃 ‧ Drama ‧ 2020
While Healer is more comedic/slightly more light-hearted than FOE, both dramas have well-written action/crime and romance plotlines, and perfectly blend them together. If you like the combination of both genres in the one drama, you'll most likely enjoy the other. Also, both MLs have a second identity, both FLs have investigative occupations (police in FOE vs journalism in Healer), and both dramas follow the main cast trying to uncover the truth behind a past crime that relates to the childhood trauma of one or more of the leads. Both are very high-quality dramas in general.

Both drama has wife that work as cop and the husband is trying to hide their crimes from their wife. Flower of evil is more focus on serial killer while my fellow citizen touch on con artist and politic issue. Flower of evil os more dark and serious compared to my fellow citizen which have more humourous vibe.

Both gripping psychological thrillers that delve into the darker aspects of human nature, focusing on protagonists struggling with accusations of serious crimes. In *Black Out*, Go Jung-Woo is a high school student wrongly accused of murder, while in *Flower of Evil*, Baek Hee-sung hides a chilling past that links him to brutal crimes. Both shows center on the themes of false accusation, societal judgment, and the internal conflict of characters who wrestle with their perceived guilt or innocence.

The protagonists in both dramas are complex and morally ambiguous. Jung-Woo's descent into a darker side after society turns on him mirrors Baek Hee-sung's internal battle to maintain his facade and protect his family from his hidden past. Additionally, the suspenseful pacing and frequent plot twists in both series keep viewers on edge, constantly questioning the characters' true motives and the mysteries surrounding the crimes. These shows create a similar emotional tension, blurring the line between victim and villain while exploring redemption and truth.

In short, both *Black Out* and *Flower of Evil* use their protagonists' internal struggles and mystery-filled narratives to keep audiences deeply engaged, offering a captivating mix of psychological drama and moral ambiguity.

It has suspence, thriller, and unexpected twist of events.
The real villain in "He Is Psychometric" was always close to them just like "Flower of Evil".

Both are big suspense dramas and both the same concept of deceiving your partner in a way. Also, the main characters have quite the past.

Not too similar except the fact that Lee Joon Gi is the lead in both dramas and the romance of his character and the female lead are crucial in both dramas.
However, I am recommending Flower of Evil to Moon Lovers fans because Flower of Evil is such an underrated drama and more people need to watch it. I know Lee Joon Gi has many fans from Moon Lovers, so I hope his Moon Lovers fans can watch Flower of Evil. Don't undersestimate the female lead, Moon Chae Won may not be the most popular to today's kdrama audiences but she is an acclaimed actress and she has great chemistry with Lee Joon Gi.
As for Flower of Evil fans, it is good to recommend Moon Lovers since it is indeed one of Lee Joon Gi's most popular roles, it's a good idea to watch it for Flower of Evil fans to understand why Moon Lovers fans hype Lee Joon Gi's role in this show so much. And Lee Joon Gi did a great job in this role too.

Similarity:
1-Both of them have serial killings in the past.
2-Both dramas are about to find the serial killers.
3- Both the main characters are cold and show their affection to only their loved once.

Difference:
1- In Flower of evil, Do hyun soo has a family and in Nobody knows, Cha young jin considers ko eun ho her family.

(If I add point 2 it would be consider as a spoiler so I won't add it. However both of these dramas are amazing. they are MUST WATCH!!!)

Kill it is also a very suspenseful and thrilling drama, where the FL is also a detective that chases after an assassin, the ML.

Both dramas feature a psychopath who tried to pursue a life that others may deem to not suit them due to the fact that they had an inability to feel any emotions or emphatize with other people. Both dramas had the main character ending up misdiagnosed while still young and growing up having traits of psychopathy inside them. Both dramas had the presumed psychopath character trying their best to break away from the stigma people had of psychopaths in general as they try to lead a normal life.

They are both mystery/thriller with married couples. They both give the same vibes as both female lead try to clear their's husband's names.

They have the same type of right from the whole show. Although FOE is more romantic and lighter than SM.
