Flower of Evil

악의 꽃 ‧ Drama ‧ 2020
Both are thrilling, fast paced crime shows with incredibly morally ambiguous characters. Extracurricular focuses on younger high school aged characters while Flower of Evil focuses on an adult married couple.

Both dramas have a morally gray lead who manipulates those around them and keeps you guessing about their intentions. Great characters and engaging stories.

They are both projects that are full of suspense and also contain the genre "crime and mystery".
The main characters from "You Are My Spring" both have a painful past and they are both growing up trying to cope and heal, one of the "antidotes" is companionship, trust, and love.

In "Flower of Evil" the main male character also has a painful past and secrets, and his story also develops in such a way in which he learns about trust, he learns what it means to truly connect to someone and how unconditional love works.

Both projects also contain a hint of romance, and the general feel/vibe of both series it's similar, they also have interesting twists and surprising story developement.

Plot: A man hides his dark past from his detective wife. When a murder case brings his past to light, the tension skyrockets.

Why you'll like it: Psychological suspense, marriage secrets, and jaw-dropping reveals.

Emotionally intense + thrilling.

- Both are highly tense mystery thrillers that’ll have you on the edge of your seat
- Amazing performances from both leads
- In both of these dramas, the leads have a ride or die relationship and would do anything for each other.
- Amazing chemistry between the leads of both dramas
- Both dramas do a really good job of “showing and not telling” the story (usually through the use of flashbacks)
- Overall both dramas are just really well written

Similar healing for the male lead with psychological conditions, with help of female lead. Unique love stories, quirky, gripping from start to end.

This is another crime thriller along with romance. The FL is a detective who comes across a few cases which leads to her solving a major serial killing case that unveils some dark secrets of her husband. The drama keeps you on the edge of your seat.

It takes another Masterpiece to take you out of the slump, doesn't it?
I could be talking about you after finishing either drama and are trying to find something to fill in the void which was left by these ALMOST PERFECT drama journeys!

18 Again, like Flower of Evil is a heartwarming MELODRAMA full of heartbreaks. Painful cracks to Beautiful mends, even tho there's no action, chase scenes or thriller, there's still a huge amount of beautiful scenes of care, sympathy and extremely meaningful family moments! There's also child upbringing theme in both and the realization of what's the most important to one only after one's about to lose those all!

What's more similar is the way both drama are executed! They use flashback scenes to show the viewers the most bare, unmasked pure feelings of the main characters and dive into the episode to further explain the butterfly effect of those past actions and how they in a way become a guide and also comfort to keep them on track and live through today just well! In a way, those flashbacks are the most unforgettable gem of moments of the shows!

BOTH ARE A MUST-WATCH for fans of ALL KINDS! Even if you didn't like one of them like I do, you might still LOVE the other!

ML have same mental disorder
ML tried to work on their emotional mathematics

Flower of Evil is far more intense thriller drama then the trick of life and love

Both Male Leads make you wonder of how dark they actually are. There always seems enough room to still think the best of them, keeping you guessing throughout most of "Born again". Will see how it is going in the currently airing "Flower of Evil".

Both dramas tackle a darker theme, crazy gripping action scenes, will have you on the edge of your seat at all times, a believable romance that is not the main plot line, and REALLY GOOD ACTING.
