well, so many people have given out recommendations and i am surprised that no one is yet to recommend Voice season 2 and 3 when the male lead character there is so similar to the one in Flower of Evil. in fact Voice series are OCN dramas so they are meant to be a lot darker and with less emphasis on romance which could be a plus for a genre like this. there is a good reason why the Voice series keep getting season's extension, you gotta watch it to know. enjoy!

Both male leads hide their dark sides behind a friendly facade. As the drama progresses that mask starts to slip.

This is a love-hate drama that explores modern family issues such as moral harassment, infertility, matchmaking apps for married people, domestic violence from wives, and cuckooing.

The protagonist, 29-year-old Yashima Risa, works at a life insurance company and leads a stable life, but her relationship with her husband of three years is strained by obligatory fertility treatments.

One day, this innocent and earnest woman meets a handsome man named Jochi Ryo, who is suffering from violence from his wife. However, her meddlesome desire to "save him" eventually turns into love, and Risa finds herself falling into a hellish affair.

Married Couple where 1 partner has a secret past/alternate life. While in Flower of Evil, it is the husband who has a dark past and who might be a killer. In Married Woman Killer, it is the wife who has trhe secret life as a killer. In Flower of Evil, the wife is a cop and now has the job to investigate the secret life of her husband who she does not know has this secret life. In Married Woman Killer, the husband is a reporter and is given the job to investigate this killer who is his wife who has this secret life/job that he does not know about.

Similar feel.

Both dramas center around a male lead with a dark past, a strong, emotionally grounded female lead, and a love that withstands betrayal and danger.

If you loved the emotional breakdowns, mystery, and intense couple loyalty in Flower of Evil, you'll absolutely connect with Beyond the Clouds.

Both dramas are dark thriller/mysteries in which the main characters are a couple and their young daughter and (one of) the SML(s) is a newspaper reporter. Both dramas have a lot of misdirection/red-herring which keep you guessing what's happening/who the villain is, and both have common plot elements of a killer in a raincoat, a car accident, and amnesia.

Both dramas feature the characters lives being torn apart through a traumatic past and multiple killings. The main focus of both this dramas is on two characters, one a detective, and the other who is a psychopath. In both of these dramas, the psychopath and detective have a familial relationship.

- ML has antisocial disorder (does not understand human emotions);
- ML watches others and mimics human emotions;
- smart and antigonist-type ML;
- FL changed ML's world

Flower of the Evil and Blood and Ties are both very dark and brutal dramas. Both deal about families where one member has a secret past tied to a crime and another member finding out about it. In both dramas this crime revolves around a murder.
In Blood and Ties it is however the daughter that is suspicious of her kind father, whereas in Flower of the Evil it is the wife that doubts her husband more and more.
Both dramas feel very similar.

Both are thrilling, fast paced crime shows with incredibly morally ambiguous characters. Extracurricular focuses on younger high school aged characters while Flower of Evil focuses on an adult married couple.

Both dramas have a morally gray lead who manipulates those around them and keeps you guessing about their intentions. Great characters and engaging stories.
