I Told Sunset about You

La serie que puso un país de vuelta en el mapa...

Esta serie me llega por recomendación de un amigo brasilero. Yo soy alguien que le trata de huir bastante a las historias tristes pero estas tienen una belleza tan particular que a veces es imposible evitarlas. Y I Told Sunset About You es una de esas.
La historia se siente tan...real. La narrativa de dos amigos de infancia que por una cosa pequeña no se hablar por casi una década y cuando vuelven a reconstruir su relación se encuentran con que aquello que más de pequeños no lograban entender ahora tiene nombre, y es "amor".
La belleza de la serie radica en todo: la música original y la cinematografía pinta las locaciones que se recorren en un tono tan bello que hace poco leí una noticia en The Guardian diciendo que el turismo a Tailandia había aumentado post su salida. Y las actuaciones de ellos...Teh y Oh-aew son dos personajes tan patéticos pero, hey, así somos todos cuando somos adolescentes y estamos enamorados, y las presiones familiares y sociales nos desbordan tanto que pensamos que el dolor es lo único que nos conecta, y cuando nos damos cuenta que eso no es así capaz que ya es demasiado tarde y lo único que podemos hacer es llorar y gritarle un rato a la nada misma para sacarnos un poco de esa mochila que tenemos encima de los hombros.
Con esta serie vas a reir, vas a llorar (bastante), pero principalmente vas a querer estar enamoradx también porque el cariño que los personajes que tienen atraviesa cualquier pantalla y en momento de los justos 5 episodios que dura te encontrás diciendo "yo también quiero algo parecido a lo que ellos tienen para mí".
Ver este unitario es un camino de ida, y se van a dar cuenta porque si quieren mirar cualquier otra cosa para atrás después de esta no le van a encontrar sentido, y todo lo que miren para adelante lo van a hacer con esta serie como la vara de estándar.
Así que mirenla sin miedo al dolor, porque sacando eso de lado es una obra maestra que merece todo el aprecio y reconocimiento que tiene y más. (Ah, y preparense para I Promised You the Moon después si se la bancan)

Ça fait une quinzaine d'années que je regarde des BL, mais aucun ne m'a bouleversée comme celui-ci. La réalisation est superbe, ça change des productions large public. La série est très intimiste par son scénario et sa cinématographie, c'est vraiment rare d'avoir les deux en même temps dans cette industrie. Les acteurs sont tellement excellents... Billkin et PP ont une alchimie à couper le souffle. Entre la saison 1 et 2, on arrive à percevoir leur évolution en tant qu'acteurs et évidement dans leurs personnages. L'histoire est bouleversante de réalisme. Pour peu que vous soyez un poil sensible ou empathique, vous allez pleurer, c'est garanti haha. L'histoire est si déchirante et belle, c'en est presque éprouvant pour les spectateurs. Sans rire, je vais pas m'en remettre. J'espère revoir BKPP ensemble sur d'autres projets d'envergure, ils sont vraiment incroyables et talentueux. ♡ Et j'espère tomber de nouveau sur une série BL aussi belle et bien réalisée.

Non scrivo MAI recensioni, ma questa serie la necessita.
Di serie ne ho viste veramente tante, ma questa è totalmente a un altro livello, sia per quanto riguarda la produzione che per gli attori.
L'attore che interpreta Teh è diventato uno dei miei attori preferiti, ho sentito ogni sua emozione nel cuore, ha delle capacità di esprimere le emozioni fuori dal comune, le scene di pianto mi hanno fatta soffrire da morire, come se fossi io in prima persona a sentire quelle emozioni. Spettacolari anche tutti gli altri attori.
La produzione, la cinematografia, amato tutto alla follia, se pensate di vedere il classico bl thai vi sbagliate di grosso, completamente su un altro livello, come dicevo all'inizio.
Non sono una persona che piange, anzi, ma questo piccolo capolavoro ha risvegliato in me tantissime emozioni, tanto che ora che l'ho finito mi viene da piangere, e mi torna la voglia di rivederlo.
Bello, bello, bello. Decisamente una delle cose più belle ed emozionanti che abbia visto negli ultimi anni.
