Exciting spy romance full of action and fights

Drama queen
There is no boring character and it’s due to an excellent script. It’s a kaleidoscope of different personalities and every one has its time on the screen. It was difficult for me to focus on the main leads because other characters were engaging a lot and amazing played, all of them. So we have a good spy and a bad spy, cruel boss, greedy mother, cringing gangster, kindhearted boxer, romantic detective, weird secretary, but my favourite is the father (Park Sung Geun). Sweet swindler and Christian neophyte who lives in reality he created himself. Nice.
But the queen of drama is our female lead Seo Hyun, definitely. I didn’t expect such good acting from her. I thought: oh, it’s just another idol star with a pretty face, but no! She created really captivating and attractive character. Her clothes, hairs, voice, kisses, tears – everything fits perfectly!

Undercover lovers and handsome cast
We can’t find here a fine bromance of detectives or spies, that we always waiting for, but don’t worry, we have a great womance. It’s rare to watch so intense relation between girls so drama gives you a unique impression. Kim Hyo Jin and Seo Hyun create an original couple and they are a distraction from the other handsome members of the crew.
Despite the spy-corruption-fighting-swindler theme, there is a lot of sweet romance here. Really, really sweet.

Social commentary about corruption
It’s impossible to avoid corruption problems when the story is about industrial and political espionage. So drama reveals the truth we often don’t want to see that politicians are figureheads but someone else has real power. The disgusting of the bad guys and politicians was so well portrayed that it was easy to hate them.

Fun, entertaining and Vivian
There is a lot of fun because the characters are involuntarily funny. And we can’t forget about Vivian! Bad dog.

Am I the only one who loves the drama? Hope not. If you are dreaming of something with fast action, mystery disappears, clever swindlers and sweet romance or you missed Go Kyung Pyo when he was in the army – everything is here. It’s the third drama of writer-nim Yoo Sung Yeol after ‘My Beautiful Bride’ and ‘Cruel City’. I love them all.

confusing but worth my time

first of all, the storyline is sooo interestinggg I like it, even though the timeline jump is confusing but you will understand it as you continue watching. I love the way they reveal the truth bit by bit in each episode making me wanna know what happen next and what actually happen. BUT, it was interesting only for the first 12 episodes. The last 4 episodes where political thingy started to involve is confusing as hell, idk if I'm just dumb but I don't get 70% of the things happening. It was too fast, too many names and characters and I don't even know what is what anymore. I wish they could stick to the swindlers storyline till the end and exclude the political parts. But the last episode was good tho. All in all, I still find it worth my time as I enjoy most of the episodes and I do like the original storyline :))

If you are a fan of the cast definitely watch it

This was written by the writer of Cruel City which was one of my favorite drama up until this day, but this drama was good 1-12 because after that I just lost interest. I as everyone else thought it was a drama about con artists and how the became the person they are, but it didn't go too much into it, so therefore i was disappointed. However, I liked the chemistry and they all play their role really well. I just wish there was more structure in the plot and it was flesh out. Overall, I enjoy it.

Could have been better?

This series started out really exciting producing a lot of potential. I had read reviews announcing that as the series progressed the worse it became. I refused to believe this so continued to watch. Though unfortunately I now agree with these reviews. They set the series up so well with an interesting plot and powerful characters but after each episode the plot become weak and uninteresting and really dragged. I lost my connection to the characters that I had at the start and everything was concluded abruptly in the final episode. This series honestly had so much potentially, I just don't think it was delivered very well. However I did think the choice of cast was excellent as they all portrayed their characters beautifully.

Everyone has thier own agenda & everyone was cruel

The first episode was hard to get through. it was dark, all the characters were unlikeable & impossible to feel any interest in.Dystopian is a bit too extreme a description but it felt like that-bleak/depressing. I knew the chances of me liking this series were slim but I wanted to see how Go Kyung Pyo did. He played to type- similar to other dramas he has been except he got to do a little action. To be fair, I lost interest in episode 3 and skimmed ahead. This was too violent and in general the characters didn't strike me as noble or heroic. Everyone had thier own agenda, everyone was cruel. It did end with the leads together. This just was not the genre I wanted to invest in & the characters weren't worth it.

Poor

Seemed attractive at first but it fell apart shortly after. Shamelessly poor narrative and storytelling all the way through. Egregious amount of twists and turns that always backfired. Most of the characters weren't appealing especially the baddies. The last 1/4 was painfully rough to get through, mostly because the drama didn't do a good job building up the story.

Fun, engaging, and unexpected

I originally started watching this because I love the ML, and it took me a minute to warm up to the FL. However, I found that this drama was very engaging. Kept me interested through all 16 episodes which is an Accomplishment. I know it is a good drama when I don't feel the need to skip to the last episode halfway through because I wanna determine if it is worth my time to finish. I am very glad I did not skip to the end, because there were so many unexpected twists and turns throughout the entire series, it would've been sad to have ruined some of those.

I am not sure why this is rated quite as low as it is, but I highly recommend giving it a chance not only were the main characters fun, the supporting characters were quirky, but not to an obnoxious level, and interesting. I thought the ML and FL had good chemistry and that is one of my top requirements for any good K drama.
