Kim So Hyeon is an orphan who lost her father at a young age. Her father, who was a movie director, died in a fire while trying to save his original movie. Having been inspired at a young age, So Hyeon took up writing with a desire to make a movie someday. When So Hyeon becomes a young adult, she moves into a new apartment. Due to a communication error, she ends up sharing the apartment with a handsome young man named Kim Jun Pyo. Little does she know that Song Yu Ra, a childhood classmate, has a secret crush on Jun Pyo! Coincidentally, Yu Ra and So Hyeon work at the same place - So Hyeon as the theater clean-up attendant, and Yu Ra as a staff member in the production department. Park Tae Yeong is another staff member in the production department of the theater that So Hyeon and Yu Ra work. He meets So Hyeon and is surprised to find himself eventually falling for her. As the drama progresses, the love triangle between So Hyeon, Jun Pyo, Yu Ra, and Tae Yeong becomes more severe. To make things even more interesting, So Hyeon eventually finds out that the fire that killed her father may not have been an accident… (Source: IMDb) Edit Translation

.

The drama was embarrassingly lackluster in all aspects. The writing was its biggest downfall, especially how the characters were written, nothing but a major disappointment from otherwise a capable cast. I wouldn't recommend unless you're a die hard fan of one of the cast members. Keep in mind that Gong Yoo isn't the main male lead here.

Need persistence

Okay, I’m such a huge fan of Gong Yoo that I felt the need to watch this one. I do have mixed feelings on it though.. I went into this with the understanding that he was the male lead actor, although I felt like he was more of a support role in the story. Even though he had a major part to play, the actor who played Park Tae Young seemed more of the lead, that being said, I almost dropped it after the first 15 minutes in. It felt slow and unapologetic. Because it’s Gong Yoo, I persisted and am so glad that I did. The writer was so brilliant.. they keep you guessing right up to the end as to what will happen…. I do have to say that they’re also more forgiving than I wanted to be too….. ? I’m not going to say anymore and will leave you to find out for yourselves. ♥️♥️♥️
