Nam Sang-mi plays widowed police officer Lee Sun-ae who finds herself suddenly immersed into international espionage by Han Yoo-il (Dennis Oh), an undercover agent. Lee Joo-hyun plays Kang-Jun, who's recently transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department. He opens an old case involving Sun-ae's past that leads him to an entanglement between the current political/economic powers and their secrets. One of them, oddly enough, being Han Yoo-il. Who is this man? Why is he here?

These two are just weirdly similar. Most obvious similarity is of course the actress who plays the FL, Yoo In Na.
These two also feature a love triangle with the FL, the ex-husband, and the current flame (husband, in the case of TSWLM). In both, reason for the divorce of the FL and ML was somehow a misunderstanding/communication error, and the second male lead is really a good person as well, and shows that he really does care about the FL.
There is also some degree of mystery to both, since there is a murder that they need to solve and a criminal that they need to pursue. The FL in both is a strong woman who handles her own business/department and gets things done, although how she deals with her love life is a bit questionable.

Funny man Nick Cheung Ka Fai and heartthrob Louis Koo Tin Lok are teamed up by producer Wong Jing in action filled comedy film spun out from the gambling genre he helped to create. Cheung plays a low rent gambler with a typically huge ego who seeks out a legendary gambler, played by Koo, who dropped out of sight several years earlier. Involvement of Japanese production funding and the casting of Yasuaki Kurata mandates that various Tokyo locations are used for international flavor while the various plot intrigues play out.
