Comedy, a prince who's a cat seeks for the other gem balls to return home.
Don't know what to say about this drama. The storyline fails because so many loop holes.I felt that they cut out too much to try to make it into 16 eps. Certain parts of the storyline seems to choppy and didn't make much sense. It wins for being cute and romantic but not enough. Not sure how much I actually like the comedy part ..... I like it when the human turns into the cat , but not a big fan of comedy mixed in with sci fi...The story had so much more potential to have been better. Female lead has her own pet shop and she gets a blue orb gem. This blue orb gem is special in the sense that it has a cat living inside. This cat is none the other but the male lead. The male lead is a cat but stuck in Mo Xiu ran's body . Through the female lead Xiao bo he gets her blood on the blue gem and they become contracted as master and pet. When she gets hurt , he'll get hurt. The male lead turns into a cat when the blue gem touches him. The male lead is a stone cold, arrogant general. All he wants to do is get rid of the contract and go back home, in which is to get true loves kiss. Lol so he sets off a plan trying to get her to like him, but of course that doesnt work. At the same time the female lead's brother kids abducted and she has to find the four different color gems There is a white, red, and yellow gem which each having different animal inside. They have to get the animal/creature back into the gem.
Also they were together but like broke up in the next episode... then a random love rival .... which basically was an evil one who wanted the gems.... then the reveal of the real mastermind who wanted the four gems...
Honestly trying to do too much for such little episodes....
Wish there were more sweet scenes, lol thats all in episode 16.... Like they have chemistry and have passionate kisses but not enough!
I prefer My Fantastic Mrs right! if you want to watch a cat drama

Best chinese fantasy drama
The idea was fresh, and the drama had its cute moments, and I appreciate it that for once a Chinese fantasy drama 1) didn't drag for 30+ episodes and 2) did not have a needlessly sad or open ending. I also liked the main actress. Her acting was conventional, but felt spontaneous and she really gave life and a specific personality to her character. This said, the script had many holes. The parents appear or disappear from the story, they don't seem fazed by many inappropriate or unusual things but accept everything lightly. At the end, they and we don't even know what their son will be doing, where will he staying and how will he be earning his living. The female villain of the beginning suddenly reflects on herself and changes from black to white. Many "rules" of the fantasy world were not explained properly, and some new ones were added at the last moment when it was convenient just to solve a plot problem. What the orbs could and couldn't do, in which circumstances the creature gets inside or can get out of the orb, what are their healing powers and their space travel powers, how long had some of the characters been out of their orbs, how did they find the suitable body and so on and so forth. It was very confusing, not well-explained (I've watched about 300 dramas so far, and I don't consider myself stupid).
The cherry on the cake was the finale, which provided a solution which didn't come organically from the plot, and from what we'd been told so far, but by introducing yet another "new" property /rule we had been told nothing about, like a Deus ex Machina. Just like in "About Time", in "Angel's Last Mission: Love", "Mew, The Secret Boy". Lazy, lazy writers.
Not to mention the tired tropes we were served towards the end.
Moreover, the acting - with the exception of the FL - was really, really bad. This time it isn't overacting but rather underacting. The male lead most of the time had a poker face (yeah, he was trying to be cold and indifferent and cool, I get it, but it gets old real quick) and he never studied the mannerisms of a cat. Even the hiss was just a "hu" sound. His little licks were good, to be fair.
The second lead was placid and impassible like a Buddha, and so was the other second lead (the sidekick). Generally these men wore such serene expressions that made me want to go to sleep. Is that a thing for Chinese male actors? The girls are very lively to the point of being annoying and the men are like statues. I was reminded of the "acting" of Edward Lai, the equally Buddha-like but much prettier ML of "A Little Thing Called First Love".
All in all, as Chinese dramas go, it wasn't that bad. I've seen worse. I was able to watch it to the end without too many problems. Which is a rare occurrence for me. So if you want something super-light which doesn't engage your brain cells too much, for when you're tired or before going to bed, it can deliver. But it could have been much, much better.

Extremely cute and adorable!
If you love cats and romance with a touch of humour, you can consider watching this series. It is not a very long series - not many episodes in total - and the series is filled with alot of cuteness and definitely a lot of humour parts. The casts did a very good job in this series. I really love everyone's work, especially the male lead. I feel the male lead is very "sporting" especially after watching the cat courtship dance XD The female lead is also very cute and adorable, not those faint and dainty kind of female. The OST is also quite nicely paired with the entire series. I would recommend (definitely) a first time watch for some light funny and adorable moments series. However, rewatching would be up to your individual opinion after completing the entire series. Was this review helpful to you?

The Cat Overcame the Cliches for Me
The leads were cute, but I got tired of the prolonged misunderstandings. Do all leads have to be brain impaired? I realize the writer wants to keep emotional tension going by not linking the leads together too early, but I wish it could be done with intelligence.I did enjoy when the ML reverted to his cat instincts: licking the FL's nose or nipping her ear. And I loved the silver American Shorthair, the star of the show.

My Body-Snatching Alien Cat Prince
Firstly, I want to make sure everyone knows that: MINT IS HIGHLY TOXIC TO CATS!!!!Whoever wrote the script has never had a cat in their lives, nor knows anything about cats. Please don't feed mint to any cats, like the FL does to cats in this drama, because she is an idiot.
Also, with the stray cat population in China being at crisis numbers, there is absolutely no excuse for the Chinese TV industry to be advertising human bred cats by featuring them over rescued Chinese domestic short hair cats. These bred cats not only have genetic defects because humans breed them to look a certain way, and often suffer their whole lives from physical illnesses. My rescue cats are 8× more beautiful, sweeter, and smarter than these genetically modified cats that exist for absolutely no reason but to look the way shallow, selfish human beings want them to look. They are not superior in any way, nor are they easier to train.
Anyway, I think you get my point.
1. This drama promotes poisoning your cat through mint consumption.
2. This drama promotes the purchasing of bred cats, when millions of rescue street cats need a home.
And now to the rest of my review:
I don't know why I enjoyed this drama. It had just about everything I hate in a drama:
Saccharinely sweet FL
Every possible Chinese costume drama cliché
Body-snatching alien trope (so overdone).
Every episode or two, they are catching a bad guy, just like in Pokémon, really. I hate that.
The FL is supposed to be an ancient chinese vet of some sort, but, as I stated earlier, she is "curing" cats by feeding them mint, which is toxic!!
There is every reason to hate this drama, but somehow, I didn't hate it. Somehow, I kind of liked the FL, despite her being Saccharinely sweet. At least she wasn't wooden like Angela Baby or Gulnazar (I can't even tell the difference between these two actresses, as they not only look the same, but also neither can actually act. This FL should have been painfully annoying, but somehow, she wasn't. The antics of the ML were fun, even whilst he kept a stoney stoic face. The SML was the most likeable character, as he was not only easy on the eyes, but was also written as a genuinely nice person, which made it hard to choose between ML and SML.
Technically, this should have been another unwatchable and annoying drama, but somehow, there is an undeniable charm to this series that I can't deny.

Comedy Drama
Highly recommend for entertaining drama. The drama start with the main lead (Mo Xiu Ran) and female lead (Su Xiao He) .The way they first meet and start quarreling and slowly turning into the romantic couple supporting each other is really enjoyable and lovable .
Some of the scenes in the drama like (fighting with rock paper scissor and main lead funny dance made me laugh really hard ) . I believe that this drama is worth watching it and hope it helps to refresh your mind .
Only the story being good doesn’t matter. The way the actor/actress express also matter. The cat role played by ML (Kevin Xiao) is very perfect He is very enjoying his role whereas FL (Tian Xi Wei) is good too . Both of the couple look cute and adorable together.
I also found that this drama is quite simillar to drama “I am Pet at Dali temple” having cat character but its story is different from each other.

Pure Fluff...Is that Your Thing?
It's not a long drama so I started watching one day when I knew I didn't have time to get emotionally invested in something that was long and binge-able. I thought this would be cute. But, it was just okay. Not bad. Not great either. I didn't really have any expectations for it to begin with so I can't really say I was disappointed but...I was disappointed? It's straight up fluff. Very little substance. It seems like they tried too hard with the comedy aspects of it. The acting is mediocre. Wait. Everything is mediocre. I ended up dropping it because I just couldn't carry on.All that said, my mom who adores fluff dramas and the stupid comedy ones, actually thought this was pretty good so...just watch the first episode and make up your own mind.

Silly Funny Fantasy Romance Drama
A very silly and funny fantasy romance drama. The male and female leads are so cute and even the 2nd lead males and female characters are also very cute. If you want a drama to keep you smiling this one is it. the story is very silly and funny. if you love cats you will really like this one and if you just like having a pet there are more then just cats in this drama. The ending surprise me. I did not think that I would be satisfy but they did it a very tasteful way and it was really good. The actors performance was great to make you believe in this fantasy and they had great chemistry because they seem to be having a lot of fun. It is nothing like a usual story. It is not perfect but almost. I enjoy the music and the action in it. There is some real good scenes when he changes from a cat to human. It is a WOW moment. Was this review helpful to you?

Short and Sweet
I decided to watch this drama thinking that it was a romantic comedy. It does actually start out as such, but unfortunately, like most dramas, it skews into the usual theatrical story. I just wanted to watch a cutesy drama featuring princes turning into cats, but even that is shoved aside fairly quickly. That being said, it's not a bad drama. I'm actually grateful that it's so short, considering the fact that Chinese dramas tend to drag out a lot. The characters are well written and the comedy is also well done. The FL is very cute, and does not seem annoying in any way. I definitely kept going because of her. It just... throws in a whole lot of mystery and political intrigue that sort of throws you off if you weren't expecting it.
But all in all, a short and pleasant watch. Just not what I initially anticipated.

Watching this to save my heart
Im watching Kdrama "If You Wish Upon Me" now and needed to take a break to let my heart heal. So I started this. It's short at 16 episodes, the plot is completely ridiculous but the characters will make you laugh. It's light hearted and doesnt take itself seriously. Uncomplicated and probably a good show to watch if you're depressed/getting over a break up. I havent finished it yet but ill keep watching this til the end. I like that it knows its not a serious show and it doesnt try hard to be what its not.Was this review helpful to you?

Commedia romantica in costume divertente.

Commediola molto gradevole
Commedia frizzante, molto ben recitata dagli attori principali, compresi i gatti.
