Both deal with the unsuspecting killer...the person who inserts themself into an investigation, the person that people look past as the killer, the person that someone knows is the killer but is halfway protecting them or turning a blind-eye. They are the same because both the main leads that are the likely killers are mentally ill, except one is aware of why they are doing what they are doing, and the other has no memory (if my memory serves me correctly) that they are even killing people.

Both have that slow pacing that you love to hate when it comes to suspenisful , mysterious, who did it dramas. That said, you are going to like this drama.

Both dramas are psychological thrillers, with dark vibes of a lead being a psychopathic serial killer

Both dramas carefully and masterfully show you hints and fragments of the whole along the way, keeping you guessing but giving you enough to feel satiated with every new episode.

They both focus on an intelligent main serial killer.

Although Mouse doesn't have any supernatural elements, they are both very similar stylistically. By that I mean that both series are about cat & mouse games between detectives/police officers and serial killers. Both are very fast-paced and thrilling. Very well acted as well!

Similar "dark vibes" with unhinged characters. A drama that delves into dark psychology. Both involve killers and neurosurgery just puts emphasis on different things. Mouse is more focused on crime/detective work whereas Hyper Knife focuses on both neurosurgery and crime.

The genres are close enough and I strongly believe that duel is a must watch so why don't you give it a try?
(both dramas talk about psychological, medical and family related terms so i believe that they are similar in that sense)
ALSO Yang Se Jong's acting here is so so so so so so good
