Both dramas
- make you confused trying to find the culprit
- Make you FEEL

Watch this if you want to solve a case along with characters and actually like the characters.

Stay away from this drama if you do not like plot twists and serious INTRIGUE.

May it please the court is more Thriller and mystery in the 2nd part and more law and justice in the 1st. And they are both executed excellently.

Both are absolutely mind-blowing crime/thriller dramas with an extremely well connected storyline, controversial topics and gripping characters. Both deal around the psychological aspect of victims and murders.
Analyzing the mind of people.
Finding out what triggers who.
Psychopaths and "innocent people" becoming monsters.
These are all aspects found in both dramas.
"Burning Ice" is a tad bit more well developed but "Mouse" is definitely more extreme to watch.

Crack the Next Case: Why "Mouse" Fits Perfectly After "Nine Puzzles"

Psychological Crime Focus:
• Both dramas center on serial murder cases and the psychological patterns behind them, drawing viewers into complex, unsettling investigations.
• They examine the mind of the criminal, making the viewer question morality, motive, and human nature.

Strong Use of Plot Twists:
• Both shows use misdirection and carefully timed reveals to keep the audience engaged.

Intense Cat-and-Mouse Dynamics:
• The tension between the pursuer and the pursued is central to both dramas.
• The psychological chess game between characters drives the suspense forward.

Emotionally Engaging Storylines:
• Both shows go beyond procedural crime-solving to include emotional stakes, particularly involving victims, families, and the investigators themselves. This adds depth and relatability to the high-stakes thriller elements.

If Nine Puzzles intrigued you with its layered crime storytelling, Mouse is a must-watch that dives even deeper into the criminal mind—with sharper execution.

Both dramas deal around a character that seems to be neither good or bad. While the viewer is left to question if the main character is the hero or the villain that everyone is looking for. Both dramas show a team where all characters have a difficult childhood and in both dramas characters are closely watched due to their fathers being criminals.
