sequel 2 it started with a kiss and i thought nothing could've topped off ISWAK but apparently TKA exceeded all my expectations!!
if you cried, laughed and fell inlove on the It Started with a Kiss, you MUST watch the sequel They Kiss Again! It will double what you have experienced at the first drama!!!
I think the fact that they're both about the girl having a one-sided, long running love for the guy and the fact that they are primarily set when the characters are adults and working in hospitals definitely makes "Koi Tsuzu" have "They Kiss Again" vibes. Certain similar plot points which I won't reveal because *spoilers*

For the first time, she begins to see Soushi, who she'd never paid too much attention to before, as a man. At the age of 15, Hiyori begins her radical, new life living with Soushi!
Both heroines Xiang Qin (ISWAK) and Shan-Shan (Boss and Me) have almost the same personalities. Naive, innocent, clueless and tend to over analyze/think a certain situation but then jump to the wrong conclusion. Zhi SHu (ISWAK) and Feng Teng (Boss and Me) have also similar personalities. Both have cold and "poker face" demeanor, levelheaded but at the same time they are the "bread" to their respective partners, who are the "butter", because as the bread gives stability to the butter they, Zhi Shu and Feng Teng, give stability to their relationship with Xiang QIn and Shan-Shan respectively. I love both dramas!
A love so beautiful (ALSB) is simply an uplifting show! You can't help but smile.
It's a show with lots of couple time.
ALSB is funny, super sweet, cute, and simply adorable. The genius boy is still cold but supportive in his own way. A common characteristic amongst high IQ individuals is lower empathy... but in ALSB the main male lead has family reasons for not having a higher EQ.
There are so many remakes, adaptations, and versions of the original Itazura Na Kiss-- and I thought the Thai version was the best-- until I I saw ALSB now in Feb 2018. The Thai version is sweeter than the original (2/3 Japanese, 1 Korean, and 2 Taiwanese versions) but it still pretty much follows the original storyline.
