Cao Wei Ning expresses his interest in pursuing Gu Xiang. He tells her the importance of a having a soulmate. Back at Luo Mansion, the abode of Tragicomic Ghost, Qian Qiao, the Beauty Ghost sets off to accomplish the task given to her by the Chief. She disguises as Yu Feng, leader of Mount Hua Sect and visits the Beggar Gang, where she supplies Elder Huang with information to drive a deeper wedge between themselves and the Five Lakes Alliance. At Yueyang sect, Gao Chong and the Five Lakes Alliance leaders welcome Ye Bai Yi, the Mount Changming Sword Immortal. He gives back a Token of Honor that can be used to invite the Sword Immortal out of the Mountain to destroy the Ghost Valley if they wreck havoc in the martial world. Ye Bai Yi refuses to attend the Heroes Conference, but gives the person with the token the rights to ask him for help. Gao Chong and his disciples break into Luo Mansion, killing everyone, but captures Tragicomic Ghost. Qian Qiao, who had been Yu Feng's lover in the past, visits him personally to pass on the news of the death of his son Tian Jie, warning him that the Ghost Valley had already infiltrated Yueyang. At an inn, Ye Bai Yi enjoys a hearty meal and offers to help anyone who pays for him. Lao Wen attempts to pay with Zhou Xu's money and Ye Bai Yi sees through Xu's illness. Ah' Xu tries to confirm his doubts about whether Lao Wen was Rong Xuan's son by playing Truth or Dare. However, he is annoyed by the trick and leaves the room angrily, confirming that he was not. Ye Bai Yi visits Zhou Xu and he comes to know that he was his old master Qin Huai Zhang's friend who had gifted him his sword.
