Wen Ke Xing asks Zhou Xu if he really wanted to get into something he had no idea about by accepting Zhang Cheng Ling. Zhou Xu guesses that the return of Ghost Valley and the sect's massacre meant that they were after something. Wen Ke Xing reveals the information about the nursery rhyme, the armory and the second ominous verse which had been added about Mount Qingya, but Zhou Xu doesn't pay heed to it, dismissing the entire hunt as a of greed for power. He departs with Cheng Ling and doesn't accept any help from Ke Xing. Shen Shen, leader of Mount Dagu sect of the five alliances arrives at Mirror Lake and is heartbroken by seeing his sworn brother's family dead. The beggar sect and their leader, Elder Huang comes along with his friends, the elderly Tao Hong and Lv Liu. Tao Hong scoffs at Shen Shen's tears, telling him how their brotherhood was just an act and how they'll be brought down by Ghost Valley. An angry Shen Shen declares to find Zhang Cheng Ling and asks the beggar sect for help. Elder Huang, suspecting that the glazed armor of Mirror Lake might be with Cheng Ling, asks his sect to bring the boy directly to him without anyone's knowledge. Ao Lai Zi, leader of Mount Tai sect, rescues the last disciples of Danyang sect, vowing to never let their piece of Glazed armor fall into the hands of the Five Lakes Alliance. The Five Lakes Alliance's leader Gao Chong plans to conduct a Heroes Conference to plan an attack on Mount Qingya. Zhou Xu and Cheng Ling travel alone, but they are closely followed by Wen Ke Xing and Gu Xiang, finally getting cornered at an inn by him.
