Ao Lai Zi and Shen Shen have a battle of words where he informs him that the third brother, Lu Tai Chong of Danyang Sect of the Five Lakes Alliance had himself personally entrusted his remaining disciples to him. Second brother Zhao Jing arrives on time to diffuse the argument and invites Ao Lai Zi to Sanbai Manor for a rest. He declines the honor. Zhao Jing invites Wen Ke Xing and Zhou Xu for a banquet. Xu tries to politely refuse, but Ke Xing intervenes, using his literary knowledge and words to charm the leaders. Ao Lai Zi and his disciples run into Mu Yun Ge of the Broken Sword Manner, who was being pursued by Funeral-holic ghost known for maintaining a list of the unfaithful. Mu Yun Ge is forcefully pulled away by an unknown force and he follows him. At Sanbai manor, Shen Shen pretends to get drunk. Zhou Xu sees Yu Tian Jie, son of the leader of Mount Hua sect and Song Huai Ren, a disciple of the Yueyang sect, chase each other quitely out of the manor. He deduces that everyone had their own schemes. Ao Lai Zi and his two disciples bodies are hung up outside the manor, bearing the marks of being killed by Happy Ghost of Ghost Valley. Zhao Jing and the others realize that it was a decoy to aim for Cheng Ling, who was protected by Zhou Xu and Ke Xing. Xu bids farewell to a tearful Cheng Ling and overhears a conversation between Zhao Jing and Shen Shen while resting atop a roof. Zhao Jing's glazed armor had been stolen. He desperately tells Shen Shen that they could destroy it together to end their greed once and for all, but he rejects the idea. Wen Ke Xing and Zhou Xu escape the manor. They run into the corpses of both Yu Tian Jie and Song Huai Ren. Entering the Zhao Coffin home after following the trail, both Xu and Lao Wen enter a trance where they hallucinate their past. Zhou Xu snaps out in time to find himself surrounded by Drug Men. Lao Wen, who still hadn't woken up from it yet, behaves like a child and calls out Zhou Zi Shu's actual name, much to his shock as he had never revealed it to anyone. (Source: kisskh)
