both have assassin that wants to let go of the past and redeem themselves. although word of honor is more fantasy-based one of the main characters in both have similar backgrounds and get dragged into a conspiracy to do with the past. even though they don't want anything to do with it at first they fight to protect their new found life.

'Love is More Than a Word' crawled and got an early ending so that 'Untamed' and 'Word of Honor' could run.
Both are fun costume dramas with murder, mystery and a great deal of chemistry between the leads. Great set designs and costumes.
Similarly, 'Love is More Than a Word' is daring in showing its love and affection between the leads while making you wish there were more episodes and it actually has an uncensored ending even if the storyline was cut short.

Both dramas have strong friendship [Bromance] , Mystery, Powers, Demons, Talkative ML, Flirting Masters, Strong Team, Cute Kid, Soulmates, Humor, Endings, romance and well balanced chemistry between all characters. If you liked one, you’ll definitely like the other<3

Both have a ML with regrets and a short lifespan. Their only hope for a cure is in a vault that can only be opened by pieces of a treasure (jade vs. glazed armor) that multiple people are fighting over. Both are historically set with fantasy elements.

MFMR is much, much lighter in tone than WOH, though.

Word of Honor is the full series which can be found on many platforms including Youku, Amazon, Netflix, etc.

You can tell how much the main male lead cares about his two friends, even though it's not as bromance heavy as WOH, the lead actor is super handsome and amazing at acting (and played shen wei in guardian) and the bromance kinda is there? So you might like this.

- Both has Gong Jun as the male lead.
- Both stories revolve around martial arts sects, political factions, and power struggles.
- Both dramas have hidden identities, conspiracies, and betrayals shape the journeys of the leads.

Bromance heavy, although the drama gets kinda ridiculous at some points, but, but, but still totally worth it. You will be crying so many times. You will probably get super confused at the beginning, don't mind that, just enjoy the chemistry :)

While different in plot, both are historical setting cdramas with steampunk elements. Some sad moments but strong relationship between leads.
