Citizen of a Kind

Both are movies that have very similar stories. A ML victim of a scam ring trying to escape, innocent characters helping to take down the bad guys/rescue trapped individuals & the complexities of criminal operations occurring overseas. However, No More Bets paints a much darker picture.

Both are films about voice phishing. Protagonists cannot find help from the authorities, so they take matters into their own hands.

There are a few similarities.
- Both movies centered on money scams
- Both movies highlight how the police don't take the scam cases seriously, putting blame on the victims instead
- The main cast in both movies are trying to bring down the scammers

The 2nd season of Taxi Driver tells the story of a recruit who was promised a job opportunity abroad, only to be abducted and forced to participate in illegal activities against his well.
