Only if you're a fan
The drama didn't really convey webtoon's humour but I didn't expect much in that department. The original story is really good and the chemistry between the characters makes you wanna keep on reading and that's the factor that was the most lacking in the drama. Main couple has five minutes of good chemistry at best and the rest is just really flat. Some scenes and characters got changed up for reasons I couldn't understand but it's managable. The acting is.. Not good at all, surprisingly enough, the idol actors (Younghoon and Dayoung) were the best ones along with some of the side roles. Park Jihoon and Ruby... Not so much. The OST doesn't really linger on your mind as well... It's an okay watch if you're a fan of the webtoon or the idols but a slightly bad watch for a drama lover.Was this review helpful to you?
Warm, Cute, & Fun!
Although it is a typical school youth rom-com drama, yet it established a good reaction to the viewers. The story is cute and I love how they offer different stories every episodes. I also love the different characteristics of the cast feauture in the story.Joo Young, the main character, it took me 5-10 episodes before I enjoy his character. Maybe because it is too childish for me but it's understandable too cause some guys are really like that during high school. Park Jihoon really did great in his acting here. The female lead on the other hand, Wang Jarim, is kinda cold and straightforward girl. It's too new for me that the girl is the one who's cold and the boy is the one who's clingy and nosy. At first, I don't really feel the butterflies watching the love story of the two leads but after they went to byung hoon's province, their scenes are starting to look so lovely.
For the other cast, Kyung woo is the cold yet supportive friend of the main lead. I don't really like that he play the feelings of Yeseul just to took away his attention to Jarim. The same with Min ji. Kyung woo and Min Ji was my favorite characters from the start of the series but in the last few episodes, I feel so bad to their actions. Jung Sang Hoon deserve to someone who loves him truly.
In one of the episodes where Byunghoon's bday was not able to remember by his friends, I do cry on it. It is really painful that you're friends forgot your special day. I love Byunghoon's funny and hilarious personality. His smile showcasing his braces is too cute!! Then we have Ahn Kyung Min, the eyeglass friend. He didn't give a backstory in the drama but he's too cool for stating facts everytime about his friends life problems.
Best girl Oh Ah Ram, the snorlax of the gang. Strong and mature character. The girl who always been the intellect of the group. She's always there to solve failures committed by her friends.
The other characters, Jinhee, Going Jisoo, and the rest also adds flavors to the flow of the show.
I know there will be a season 2 the way they end the final episode. Overall, it was enjoyable to watch. The OST's and soundtrack is fit to the concept of the show and I love the clean and classy cinematography.

LIGHT AND CUTE
The drama is cute and it does not have complicated conflicts that will stress you out. I was just kinda disappointed about their styling because it was exaggerated. They tried so hard to copy the looks of the characters to the point that it made the actors look awkward. Their make up is so thick too and the lighting was bad.I was against the live action remake at first because I'm a big fan of the webtoon but after watching the whole series I admit that it has a different kind of fun. It's the first time I watched a Park Jihoon drama although I know him as a kpop group member. To be honest, I doubted him at first because his face is too good looking to be Gongju. I thought It will be hard to immerse myself in the story as Gongju is supposed to look like an average korean boy but I was amazed by him. His portrayal of the character is so flawless that you wont believe he's a kpop star. Only webtoon readers will understand this because Gong Juyoung is the most complicated character in the story. Lee Ruby on the other hand seems to be too conscious of her looks. I was literally cringing not because of the lines and story but because of her acting. Hopefully she gets more acting training and gets a good project again in the future. Kim Younghoon also was kind of awkward. I can't help but to compare him with Park Jihoon because they are both idols. I was expecting a great delivery from the actor since Lee Kyungwoo is supposed to be an easier character than Gongju but Park Jihoon did a better acting despite of the cringey antics of Gongju. Lastly, I want to praise the OSTs of this drama. Everything is great! Literally no skip on its tracklist.
There are disappointing things bout this drama but it's worth watching. It never failed to make me laugh every episode :))

Cute and funny!
Simple plot and easy watch!If you wanna take a break from complicated and overly dramatic KDramas you might as well give this web drama a try. It's cute and funny. It's a typical high school themed drama that shows friendship and romance.
I really love this group/ their friendship. I miss high school life. Hehe. I love how the guys supported the ML. They're so loyal to their friendship.
Love the main couple. I love how cute the FL and ML. They have a completely opposite personality and they're not a match at all. BUT they also MATCHED! You'll know what I mean if you watch. Haha. Though I didn't like the attitude of the FL at first and the ML gives me cringe. HOWEVER, because of the simple, funny and relatable plot I really loved and enjoyed it. I like how the ML didn't get tired of chasing the girl. I felt bad for him. ML and FL have great chemistry and you'll soon understand why the FL acted that way she did.
I also love A-ram's character. I aspire to be her. I love how confident she is and I love her honest personality. I also love that she's a foodie and an athlete. (I envy her but I am too lazy to be like her!)
There are things that I don't like which I also see in other dramas, like how they always tries to hide something about their EXes. Like WTF, being honest makes it more easier. I also hated the 'dating someone who likes you but you don't like so you can forget someone' drama. Don't they feel bad on those who like them. One thing you can do to someone sincere and someone who likes you is be honest even if you don't like them. Don't use them, please! Haysss. But I guess things like these also happen in real life. So whatever. Haha.
It ended with a hint of 2nd Season. And I also read that the webtoon it is based from is stilll on going. So there may or may not be Season 2. Whichever the case, please give this drama a try.

Amazing!
This drama was short and sweet, there are 30 episodes but each episode is only about 20 minutes long. The one thing I really love about this drama is consistency. Even though the characters go through their development, their core belief or actions remains the same throughout the story.Gong Joo Young is a goofy, gullible, and persistent person which can be seen when he falls in love with Wang Ja Rim and pursues her even as he gets rejected. Nowadays, constantly approaching someone is seen as harassment, annoying, or stalking with evil intention but Joo Youn shows use that he purely loves her through his actions which are annoying and cute at the same time and finally wins her over. Joo Young does mature a little bit throughout the shows but he remains the same person as when he first met Ja Rim who is always chasing after her and showing his love gestures.
Wang Ja Rim is shown to be very cold and unfriendly to even her friends sometimes, but she changes by the end. Because of Joo Young, Ja Rim begins to say things she wouldn't say otherwise. Although, she still remains a cold and unfriendly person she is more expensive toward her friends and especially her boyfriend Joo Young. The interaction between Ja Rim and Joo Young was really cute.
Kyung Woo is a character that is shown to be a loyal friend from beginning to the end even though he does develop feelings for his friend Joo Young's girlfriend, Ja Rim. Kyung Woo also tries to build Joo Young and Ja Rim's relationship to become stronger instead of becoming a hindrance. The ending does leave us, the audience with a lot of questions though.
Great drama to watch in a day if not couple of days!

Cute drama
Finally finished watching this cute drama about young puppy love. Both main lead males were great and cute. Main female was a bit annoying, didn’t like how she treated Gong Joo Young more than half way of the drama. In the last episode she finally smiles. As for Lee Kyung Woo in my opinion liked Ja Rim from the beginning. If they do a second season, the way he says, I may have to cross the line, it will be him going after Ja. Rim, and perhaps become enemy with Gong Joo. But that will depend on Ja Rim true feelings for Gong Joo. Will have to wait and see if season 2 comes.Was this review helpful to you?
Loved the friendships, the rest? Not so much...
I love a good school drama. This, however, wasn't one. There didn't seem to be a terribly cohesive storyline. I did enjoy the friendships and how they supported each other. So, other than the so-so storyline, I also had problems with some of the acting.Park Ji Hoon as Gong Jo Young - he's as cute as the day is long. There were numerous scenes where his makeup was so obvious it was distracting. I guess his acting was okay, but his character was like a hyperactive puppy. Bouncing around, talking to inanimate objects, panting after Wang Ja Rim. He was exceedingly immature, and I found his behavior very irritating. Opposites attract, but there is no way a mature person like Ja Rim could like him.
Lee Ruby as Wang Ja Rim. She is stunning to look at. I found her acting wooden and the fact that I watched 30 episodes and her expression changed exactly one time left me extremely underwhelmed. When an actor has to play a character that has hidden depths, they need to be able to convey that through their actions or the expressions, even if just using their eyes. This did not happen here. Even at the end of the drama, I still didn't believe that Ja Rim liked Jo Young,
Kim Young Hoon as Lee Kyung Woo - he is an example of being able to use his eyes to express what he is feeling. The final scene in the drama, with him talking, leads me to believe that there will be another season. Why?
If you want to watch for the friendships, that's great, but personally I didn't find anything else noteworthy about it.

Love revolution
First thing - many episodes but short.Second - if you love Park Ji Hoon you have to watch it, firstly because he is in it, secondly cause his role here is totally different than in Weak Hero Class or At a distance spring is green.
Lee Ruby was amazing, she needs more main roles.
I am happy with main couple.
Spoiler - I need Kim Young Hoon's and Jung Da Eun's characters as second couple, they were soo cute.

THE BEST DRAMA EVER,, WE NEED S2
the ep30 is very fun(actually every episode is fun) and entertaining but it was kinda short so WE ALL NEED SEASON 2 and the last one which is SEOK-HO (a new character I guess) is there we need to know what's his relationship with them and I ALSO NEED MORE SCENES OF MINJU AND KYUNGWOO TOGETHER. and I wish if there would be a season2 they will be couple <33 THANK U FOR THE WONDERFUL DRAMA.I liked the concept of the story and plot and everything that's why I gave them a 100000/10

Rom-Com School Drama
So far so good and character so interesting especially the fate between Princess and Prince, A+ for princess effort to gain prince attention. This drama basically an adaptation from webtoon with the same name. My favorite scene so far is @ the end of episode 2 on rainy day when Prince starting to feel princess warm heart. Even though it's only 20 minutes long, the story, bgm, and cinematography are packaged in a good way. Hopefully this impression can continue to the next episode. Love Revolution Deserves a Season 2: Fans Still Waiting for More!
From the end of this drama until now I am still re-watching it....I From the end of this drama until now, I am still re-watching it. Every time I watch Love Revolution, I feel the same excitement and emotions as the first time. The chemistry between Gong Ju Young and Wang Ja Rim, along with their friends' hilarious and heartwarming interactions, makes this drama truly special.
I really hope there is a season 2 because there are still so many things left to explore. The webtoon has a much longer story, and the drama only covered a small part of it. We need to see more of Gong Ju Young’s journey in winning over Wang Ja Rim’s heart and how their relationship develops. Not to mention, the friendships and school life of the other characters are equally engaging and deserve more screen time.
Many fans, including myself, continue to support this drama and would love to see the cast return. The actors did an incredible job bringing these characters to life, and it would be amazing to see them reunite for another season. The first season left us with so much potential for a sequel, and considering the strong fanbase, I believe it would be well-received.
Please, to the producers, directors, and everyone involved—Love Revolution deserves a season 2! There is still so much love for this drama, and fans around the world are waiting for its continuation.
