These two dramas were produced by the same production team, same director, same writer. Surprisingly, the only common thing you can find in both dramas: time travel.

both are very similar in terms of hero fighing over fate and in turn creating ripples that further complicates his course

Entertaining big families that come close to heart.
The way both dramas deal with family-only dynamics is peaceful.
Full of comedy.
Heart-filling romances.
Double in-law couples.

Both dramas tell thought-provoking stories questioning, if changing/knowing one's destiny is fortunate or a curse.

Personally, I really like Nine: Nine times Time Travel :D and after watching first episode of Tunnel, I am already addicted to it!~ Those who love time slip dramas will definitely love this too :) (if you aren't too picky) It brings me laughter (natural type of comedy), tears, nervousness etc. while being intense. While Nine:Nine times travel time travel via incenses, Tunnel is via Tunnel as the title mentioned.
Cases were interesting.

Both have the supernatural element.
In both the male lead tries to change some decision they made in the past while havin an unsure relationship with the female lead.
Both are wonderful.

Both are complicated time travel dramas that involve the main character going back in time to better their future. But consequences of time travel are their biggest foes.

8.5 W (2016)
W and Nine are written by the same writer, Song Jae-jung, in which she managed to establish unique concepts in creating the world of both dramas. Even though W has only aired two episodes, it delivered a very intriguing and interesting story just like Nine. The two dramas have different plot (Nine is a time travel themed while W revolves in the fictional world of a comic character) but I must say, they actually resembles each other in the way that suspense, humor, and romance has a nice balance on the way the writer tells the story while still focusing on the fantasy element of the drama.

Shares concept of time travel, and for some reason, felt a similar vibe even though SDOD has slightly more romance than N:NTTT
