Just saw this. To add to the fact that Junho didn’t  know the contents of the box, it was the same top that Doek-Im (Seyoung) wore through all those months of filming so Doek-Im’s  scent still lingered on it which made Junho cried more.

on ep6 of another rewatch and of course noticing more little details.  The riddle Doek-Im gave to the Queen…answer was King Sejong…at the court assembly Yeongjo used Sejong as the example for removing the books and making San “rest”. Once again, this director and production team is awesome!

Sonnet 18 alongside Deok Im's story. I really like how the ending really has come true for this couple. 300 yrs later and they're still basking in love in the afterlife of our conscience. 

Love it. It just gave the feels…yes, they’re still together in our thoughts and memories. SanDoek is a historical couple that is eternal.

This is so awesome just reading through the threads.  We all just get drawn deeper and deeper into the TRS abyss.  I don’t think I’ve watched a drama as detail oriented as this one or they never held my interest this much to be invested into looking at the details this closely.

On Ep 15 of my rewatch and  the letter San wrote and burned after Doek-Ro’s death reminds me of the document Yeongjo wrote after Sado’s death…both full of questioning regret.  Little did San know as CP that his life as King would parallel his grandfather’s when it came to those close to him no matter how hard he tried to change it...the burdens of the throne.
