Masters in Forbidden City (2016)

Both are essentialy the same footage re-edited differently; if you loved either of these versions, you HAVE to watch the other one.

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

Both cover artisans who are a master of their craft. Hi Producer is part drama/part documentary about artisans that are trying to preserve the tradition of their craft. Masters in Forbidden city is a documentary about artisans who work in art restoration. If you appreciate the art in one, there's a good chance you'll like the other.
