dam is as refreshing as kyoko (the manga vr) and Sun Woo is as clueless as kyoko (and ren too) xD the anti cliches in both dramas mix so well, if skip beat had a 2021 adaptation I'd imagine it'd be like My Roommate Is a Gumiho, minus the Gumiho xD

overall I really enjoyed this series and thought it shared a good number of similarities, if anyone is interested I highly recommend!!!

Both dramas are Korean and base is about Gumiho. Also each episode has a mystery and the leads help or find out. Its really good to watch. I found it randomly on Youtube.

It tells the story of a cynical and not-so-friendly government official named Eun O, who wanders the whole nation to look for his mother, who disappeared because of his mistake. Eun O has the ability to see ghosts, so he's used to being bothered by many kinds of ghosts. As a result, he isn’t afraid of ghosts anymore.

Then, Eun O meets a virgin ghost named A Rang. Before she became a ghost, A Rang was a beautiful girl who was murdered. A Rang asks Eun O to seek vengeance for her death, and Eun O tries to appease her request.

Shinozaki Ayumi receives a strange call telling her that an earthquake will occur one hour from now. She hangs up the phone thinking it was just a prank call. But one hour later, she feels herself sway a little. When she turns on the television, she realises that what the caller said about the time and the epicentre was on the mark. After that, she receives another phone call from the same caller who identifies himself as Kazama. He says that he knows what will happen in the future because he went back to a certain spot from the future and made a fresh start in life. Calling this time travel “Repeat”, he invites Ayumi to be his guest. Besides Ayumi, Mori Keisuke and Tendo Taro are among the eight people who have been invited by Kazama to participate in “Repeat”. These eight people who are making a repeat as a result of past regrets, are hit with a series of unanticipated events. Under the difficult situation, Ayumi and Mori develop feelings for each other.

A story where ten people get the chance to go back in time by one year, but unexpectedly mysterious situations start to arise when their fates are changed and twisted in the process. Ji Hyung Joo is a detective in the violent crimes division. He used to be part of the traffic police but was promoted when he arrested a wanted criminal. It's been seven years since the change, and he's a talented individual who always knows how to relax. Though he is happy at first to have the chance to go back in time by one year and "reset" his life, he begins to search for the truth when a series of mysterious events befall the group of people he goes back in time with.
