YOU EVER SEEN MORE INSURMOUNTABLY OMNIPOTENT AESTHETICALLY PLEASING LEADS? NO? DIDN’T THINK SO.
The title. Yang Yang and Dilraba Dilmurat? Bro, how did I die and end up in this paradise?1) I’ve missed Yang Yang so much since The King’s Avatar; I’ve been waiting for him to star in another high-quality drama. And here he is! What a king. The way that he can capture the attention of the audience that well is an insurmountable skill. I could watch Yang Yang watch paint dry—and enjoy it. That’s talent. Ever since Love O2O, Yang Yang’s got me hook, line and sinker.
2) I haven’t seen Dilraba since Love Designer, and I hated that drama. I’ve never seen anything else she’s been in, but now I kind of want to. What a queen. I’ve seen people (who can’t do better) criticize her acting skills... but I thought she was decent! Good even! It was all pretty believable to me.
3) Can we talk about the chemistry? Say no more. Mad.
4) My expectations were high coming into this... and it lived up to it. And more. Real. Aw, the feeling of having high expectations coming into a show and having that show blast it out of the park—a real trend for me this summer: Young Royals, Falling Into Your Smile and now You Are My Glory.
5) I’m so looking forward to more Yang Yang shit. The King’s Avatar 2, here we come!
6) Finally, a *real* romance drama for the many who are totally sick of dramas catered to practically babies (exaggerated, but still, you know what I mean). No silly bullshit. A mature, adult relationship. I love it. It’s just... I love it.
7) I don’t give a shit about space exploration... and well, space in general. And uh, this drama made me care... even a tiny bit. Maybe. I love that China is making shows on careers that maybe aren’t so... popular in China? Is popular the right word? Dramas like surrounding esports, ice hockey, and now aerospace. I call that... INNOVATION. Because I’ve never seen a show with an aerospace field as a career. I just... I love the variety. I love the... sharing these careers and skills with the world. Like I’ve never heard of CTF before Go Go Squid! And it’s fucking dope. Also, when I heard about Skate Into Love having ice hockey? And My Unicorn Girl? While both dramas belong on my DEATH ROW, the fact that ice hockey dramas exist? Insta watch. And now aerospace engineer? Like... ??? I have to watch! It’s interesting and unique. I cannot wait to see what else is in store for the future.
8) A lot of people were saying how slow burn this was... and I thought it was pretty normal. The burn, that is. Two-thirds is kinda... normal for a c-drama. Maybe even... faster than many to be fair. I thought the pacing was really good. Sometimes life just lifes. And I think this drama portrayed that well. Life can be a real pain, huh?
Conclusion: Watch this. PERIODT.
This drama has officially dethroned my previous favourite Chinese drama (that's not even that good to be fair, but since it was one of my firsts, I was biased). *This* is now the best c-drama I've ever seen. I binge-watched this all in under thirty hours... and had time to sleep for around seven hours too. Yeah, I couldn't stop. And yeah, that's why I know I loved this.
Because. I. Couldn't. Stop.

The Most Realistic Modern CDrama Ever!
The title of this review speaks for itself. Takes top spot for favorite modern drama of all time. This is the most realistic modern drama I have seen thus far. In every aspect, from the relationship of the leads, to their careers, and all of the side characters. There were no cliches, no tropes, no jealous ex's/side people or overbearing parents, no breakups, zilch misunderstandings or miscommunication. It was pure gold.QJJ is a successful actress and an independent woman who isn't looking for a man to take care of her. She's got this in the bag. Though YT starts off with a serious identity crisis due to his parents, he does slowly find himself and realizes who and what he wants. I love how both sets of ex's are taken out swiftly without any pretense.
Though FL does chase after ML first, it's a slow burn romance and though she wants to be with him, she won't compromise herself to bend over backwards for him. After the second rejection, and his realization that he's made a huge mistake, he has to fight for her. She doesn't return easily. A woman who knows her worth. Which makes their getting together officially so much sweeter.
The comedic element is ever present and all of the supporting cast make it worthwhile. My only contention is that they stuck in the OST's a bit too much sometimes; I love LYN and his voice but he seemed to be too often in their special moments lol. The banter between the leads and their friends and family is always hysterical and when they face tough times, they get through each obstacle with proper communication and time while helping each other and being supportive sometimes even without/before the other sees the support coming.
We see the hardships of two career driven individuals trying to make time for their relationship as best they can which is something quite common in everyday life of regular people let alone one being an aerospace engineer with a dream of sending a probe into deep space and an A-List actress trying to fulfill her dream of being a well-rounded professional in her field.
Then of course comes the romance and HELLO NURSE! (Sorry that's another reference to a film whose title I forgot from probably the 1970s lol); considering their censorship board, I was surprised how much made it in. But the awesome thing is that you see much without seeing much. It was artfully done; their lines, facial and body expressions, if you will, everything brought together with one word; passion. No one needs to see boobs and butts; when done well, something like this will have heat coming off the screen in waves. I will just say a certain scene made me think of Twilight because the pillows became collateral damage though sans feathers ;).
When I saw the last two episodes for the first time last week raw, I didn't think they were needed; but then again I didn't understand a damn thing. But today when seeing them with subtitles, I finally understood that, yes in fact, they were very much needed because this story started with Yu Tu and realizing his dream of the rocket launch of probe and it needed to end with him doing just that and them doing it together because she's cared so much about him from all those years back, this was her way of realizing the dream with him. And hell, rocket launches are just super cool to watch live or even on tv in general regardless of what country you're from! I've watched many on tv of NASA sending folks or stuff to space and I saw one live by sheer accident back in 1991 while vacationing with my parents in Florida (Cape Canaveral/NASA is there for those that don't live in the states). It was one hell of a sight that I'll never forget.
Back to the drama, I loved the witty banter between the leads; just when JJ thought she got one over on YT, he gave it right back and the sound effects made it even funnier. The fact that this drama broke Tencent is epic and JJ being punished for lying trending on Weibo was hysterical. Because we all know how she was punished ;). The innuendos were very subtle but they were very present and it made it feel even more real, because who doesn't talk like that in real relationships and with their real friends?
Also, all the little tidbits of information about their industry were a nice touch; like how management of a big star can get them off the trending list for something bad or unwanted or how stars act like they like each other to their faces while subtly digging into each other, how the paparazzi act by scampering around trees, garages, and cafes. If only all the paparazzi and stalker fans were as easily disposed of as they were in this series, stars would live easier. There were other things, but you'll have to watch to see them.
It does have a slow start, but it's worth the wait because it's simply too good to let go of. I don't give a full score often; in fact this is my third for their dramas and my second for modern. I started watching for Dilraba, but this series proved to be a little gold gem all the way around with Yang Yang really holding his own and then some (first time seeing him in anything). Even before finishing this series, I have rewatched episodes so now that I'm done, that's not even a question.
Though they will never see this, I want to thank the entire cast and crew and especially the author/screenwriter for putting together a truly magical series. Forever in my heart.

slice of life with too much sugar. Be aware of diabetes
this kind of genre (slice of life) is not my cup of coffee (hey, coffee is better than tea, ok?). the first thing that draw me into this drama is the CAST. A-listers, with clean background, excellent previous dramas, and (the most important) the visuals are insane. it's Yang Yang and Dilraba Dilmurat, everyone! their faces will serve your screen to the point when they are in the same screen side by side you can't choose which one you wanna set your eyes.now, the story. if you like slow-burn and realistic drama, this one is the best of the bestest. the struggle of every characters is so real you can feel it on your daily basis. Yutu as aerospace engineer, and Reba as famous actress. well, okay, their jobs clearly are not your daily basis but their struggles are. money problems, low self-esteem, unspoken love, rejections, and romance (when the leads are together) are hit the jackpot. see, you can meet these problems on your daily.
so, give a try! you won't regret. the drama itself is doing so well in China. Even Tencent apps crashed because of this drama. First time in their history

Best Chinese Modern Drama! Best CP! No 2nd leads, no breakup, full of fluffy real moments...
Finally finished watching this drama... Best modern Chinese Drama IMO... Everything is just perfect till the end... It really followed the novel! What I luv:
- The chemistry between the leads r off the chart & how breathtaking they look everytime... The skinships r just so detailed, the small small things count, I luv how they portray how real couple acts when they r in luv, like how they just can’t get their hands off each other, those eye contacts, etc... I can definitely rewatch this over and over...
- It’s a perfect adaptation of the novel... especially the epilogue parts! We got so many eps after they r being together... it’s kinda a slow burn romance, but turbo speed when they r finally together, worth the wait!
- No 2nd leads! Yes there were 1ex for each of them, but they appeared briefly just for a closure, n no annoying moment coz the mainleads were never in luv with them anyway...
- No breakup! I luv how healthy relationship this couple have... the angst came a bit only before they get together, but afterwards it’s happy relationship till the end... it’s a light fluffy romance...
- No cliche moments (like accidental fall n kiss stuff)... what happens to them feels like a normal people relationship...
- The cinematography, the directing, the music, the editing, the wardrobe are all amazing!
- Good casts... There r people in there that u’have definitely seen in lots of dramas that play small parts here... Like Janice Wu, I always luv her n eventhough she only appeared a bit, but it was memorable...
I luv almost everything about this drama, but if I have to choose something that I only like n not luv:
- The gaming session in the early part of the drama when they talk only talk about the game... maybe coz I’m not a gamer, so... but it was ok when they r gaming together while doing daily stuff n that final game was cool... so overall it’s a not a problem from me...
- The aerospace aspect is kinda too technical sometimes, I couldn’t relate... however ML’ profession as an aerospace engineer is something I’ve never seen before, so it was refreshing to watch...
Anyway, this drama overall is superb! Storywise is so real, something I think any normal people can relate... the work struggling, the relationship dilemma, financial aspect, pursuing the dream, etc... I highly recommend this drama for their top notch romance and if u like the achieving the dream kinda drama... plus look at both of them, visually they r just perfect! I’m hoping for another future project of them together... So get ready to rewatch this drama... I know I am for I don’t know how many times already...

For 颜值
I watched this drama purely for the male lead and the female lead because they are damn gorgeous. But, I must say that they aren’t the best of actors and actresses out there. But, they are one of the best-looking actors and actresses out there. This drama has very little plot and suspense. Nothing really exciting happens.
This drama is like an extended advertisement to show the gorgeousness of the two leads. That’s about it.
Nothing amazing happens in this drama. Nothing big happens in this drama.
It’s very watchable fluff and for the good-looking leads. It got a bit tiring for me in that the male lead constantly kept reminding viewers that he’s good-looking… -__- meh.
I’d still rate it as a ‘can-watch’ because it’s mindless fluff. No stress. No angst.

Unique point of view
This is a very unique drama. It is a romantic drama for sure but there’s so much more to it than the romance between the two leads. The first thing that struck me was that it focused mostly on the male lead and his journey of self-discovery, love and ultimately happiness. The female lead loves him, encourages him to follow his dreams and supports him. It was a very relaxed binge worthy drama without evil side characters or annoying family. I loved the chemistry between the two leads. It was refreshing to watch a non-toxic relationship where two people begin as friends and slowly progress to love, while supporting and respecting each other. Was this review helpful to you?

After Ten Years, Yutu Finally Met Jing Jing.
You Are My Glory ✨The title itself have a great meaning. ‘You are my glory’ Yes, you are my glory for this year’s drama which the most amazing drama.
▫️Main Points
~ Two traffics actors combined in one drama which definitely amazing.
~ Two people met again after 10 years because of the game ‘Glory’s game’ and fell in love with each other.
~ This drama mainly focused on Aerospace engineers work with other professionals involved in designing and building aircraft, spacecraft, and their components.
▫️Short synopsis
This drama was perfectly the same with the novel by Guman laoshi. If you’re reading the novel before watching this drama, it will helped you to understand first why those scenes happened. For me, I already read the novel for three times!!! So I’m really like the novel and has been long in waiting when the drama played by YY and 88 were going aired.
** I amazed with the acting by both YY and 88 in episode 15 and 16 where Yutu rejected QJJ for her second confession. Yutu’s face showed a good emotion when he spoke the sentence of rejection and for QJJ, she showed a clear emotion of how sad she was when she got rejected by Yutu. They really portrayed a good roles in the drama as same as we were all expecting.
For all the actors and actresses in You Are My Glory, they’re all truly amazing when acting in this drama. Every characters and role were acted by them with such a good emotion. I could see they’re delivered with a good job to make audiences understand with their roles. Especially Guan Zai and her wife scenes. You will know when you watch this drama. And of course our main lead were always doing their best to deliver their acting. Dilireba as Qiao Jing Jing was good in emotional. We could see how much efforts that she made to finish this drama. Yang yang as Yutu was also good as we knew YY always good in acting. We can understand what this drama want to show and deliver by such a good acting from all of them.
▫️Characters Intro
~ Yang Yang was a godly man who great at acting, handsome and gentlemen. At most, a very professional and highly traffic actors in China. He act as Yutu who always believe in his dreams to be a successful Aerospace Engineer. He also good in playing the games.
~ Dilireba was a goddess, not only beautiful and pretty face but great in acts. She also cute and has a very sweet smile. She kind hearted and everyone knows her will love her. She acts Qiao Jing Jing as a very great and professional actress. She also beautiful and very fashionable in the drama. YY and 88 both were successfully nailed it the drama. They have a great chemistry and suited with the characters in the novel.
▫️Overall
I love and very in love with this drama. This year only You Are My Glory was true the first drama that made me fell in love. Both YY and 88 were amazing and I can’t just write how much they’re so good in chemistry and lead each other in acting. I love both YY and 88 for serving me this drama and make me smile every time I watch the drama. I waited this drama from the announcement until they’re dropped the hint about the date of airing. I expected this drama was booming in this year and I’m greatly appreciated the director, investors, staffs and others for producing this kind of drama.
I CRIED FOR THIRD TIMES! Firstly because of Yutu rejected QJJ for second time. Then I cried because of both of them married and have a really beautiful and amazing wedding ever!!! The last I cried because this show already ended. THIS SHOW WAS SUPER WOW, AMAZING AND SWEET FOREVER....
▫️OST
For the OST, I love Liu Yuning song in the beginning of the drama. I already hear it so many times and still cannot move on with this song. The song sang by Mika and Curley also nice. When you’re repeated this song and hear it so many times, you’ll find it interesting. For another song also nice too. So every songs in this drama were nice and interesting.
P/s: For THOSE who said the drama not good or bad, question about YY and 88 acting’s quality, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COMMENT. Because you’re not able to distinguish between good and bad thinking.

Yang Yang emotion and the well-structured story, a good portrayal of nowadays romance
The development of their feelings and relationships makes perfect sense and is relatable to everyone. From rejected high school love, reunion, slow-burn affection as a friend, everything they do in this phase makes butterflies in our hearts. The clichéd excuse of rejecting others because "you're too good for me", haha... this makes sense again. Which man whose self-esteem doesn't hurt when the woman he loves has everything (beautiful, rich, famous), as if she doesn't need a man anymore. But then regret comes late, the effort to get a second chance, how then they appreciate every little effort their partner makes and the time they have.I watched several Yang Yang dramas, he reminded me of Korean actor Lee Min Ho, who I think always plays it safe by taking on almost the same character in all of his projects, rich, arrogant, and charming male. At first, I thought Yang Yang would again want to play the role of a handsome and intelligent boy with overbearing charisma like in his previous dramas, but I was wrong. He showed a very slick emotional roller coaster in this drama as Yu Tu. How dilemma, doubtful, and heartbroken he was when he realizes that his idealism is not as beautiful as reality. How it hurt his heart when he realized he had the same feelings for Jing Jing but had to refuse because of his insecurities. How he portrayed the regret, and then how happy he was in the end. Agh... I really like the details of his micro-expression here. For Dilraba, there is no question. The characters she played in previous projects were quite sporadic, showing her ability to act in various settings. People will probably believe that she isn't acting in this drama and is just being herself because she's so natural. Can't wait for their next project, both Yang Yang and Dilraba. Their custome drama, hopefully, it will be even more epic.

DILRABA+ YANG YANG!!?? MIC DROP
"But I am a rabbit who has seen most of the stars"---
The story is about Jingjing( Dillraba) this beautiful super successful actress actually coming in touch with her childhood crush (Yang Yang) who is this very intelligent guy working as an Aerospace Engineer.
With fate he ends up helping her and during that process they get close and become really good friends.
Now it's now all sunshine and Rainbows and we get to see the real side of life in here which includes the struggle and middle class guy would actually face even with the person being a top student.
----
So I started watching YAMG after it finished airing and no I didn't know anything about it. What i saw before starting and actually started the show because of - was the damn cast.
Dilraba ( I love her since eternal love of dream) and Yang Yang in a show together!!??? That even a rom com?!!! Oh please man if this isn't enough to get one crazy batshit excited I don't even know what will.
The story is simple but has its own touches in a way that makes it different from your typical rom com in C drama land.
Our male lead was dashing as always but we were able to see a side which we don't typically get to see in dramas. Dramas usually portray the male lead as this God who is unbeatable and oh so successful in life, fed with a golden spoon. What we got to see in here was the struggle and the choices one needs to make sometimes that includes sacrificing ones passion for a better future.
Our female lead - is a celebrity in here
And yes at first glance one might think about dramas, break up separation between the leads, scandals but believe me there was nothing like this in here.
They portrayed it very simply but in a way that would make the audience invested in it in the long run.
One thing I absolutely loved about this was the fact that there wasn't any unnecessary drama, second leads and the fact that there wasn't even any second couple to share their screen time with the main couple. We get to see heart fluttering scenes executed with God level chemistry and beautiful dialogues portrayed by our absolutely drop dead gorgeous couple.
--
So if you wanna watch something which gives you butterflies and doesn't include unnecessary irrelevant stuff just for the sake of extending the drama, something that is light and you can binge watch on easily while doing work, then this is the show for you.

Best drama ever
I love this drama. It has all the best elements. I can say this is one of my favorite Chinese dramas. I will watch this over and over again. Not a lot of illogical parts. And the actors are very good looking and did a terrific job. I recommend this drama wholeheartedly.Yang Yang and Dilrabba have great chemistry and the storyline is fresh and not done over. I went back and gave a look at Yang Yang’s other dramas. He’s now one of my favorite actors. I have seen some of Dilrabbas dramas and she is also wonderful.

Believable Storyline!
You Are My Glory is worth your time and every penny. I had to watch it on Fast Track on WeTV.The story revolves around the life of Yu Tu, an intellectual with his own flaws, and Jingjing a successful actress that used to like Yu Tu when they were in high school. The drama spans from the time the two leads met again and some flashbacks in high school when the two became friends and had a falling out.
The characters in themselves were interesting. Yang Yang's character and portrayal of Yu Tu and his own insecurities despite his intellect and accomplishments. Dilraba as Jing Jing appeared flaky and shallow in the beginning. Viewers will see how their character grows throughout the drama-- Yu Tu's deep regret and Jing Jing's courage, admiration, and dedication to her own craft. There are a lot of aerospace-related (Yu Tu's workplace) and his workmates and Jing Jing working in her set. I enjoyed the gaming scenes at Jing Jing's home and during the competition itself. There are few side couples in this drama-- thank heavens. While the drama revolves around the two, the side romances are relevant and nicely connected with their story.

All round drama you MUST WATCH!
I've been waiting for YAMG because the main lead is Yang Yang and it is based on novel written by Guman. Previously both have a very successful collaboration in 2016 in Love O2O, which I like!Turns out the waiting paid off!
The first 14 episodes are so light and sweet, there are bitterness in couple of parts, especially with Yutu.
After that Guman successfully break my heart from eps 15 to 20 (though eps 20 really touching)... And Finally they send thousands of butterfly to my tummy and make my heart skipped beat starting from eps 21. This is just crazy... I hold my self together to not buy any FastTrack, I just don't want it to be over too soon. Never so into a drama before! Too good!
To sum it up, to me the story, quality of the cast, the production details, the OST are all orchestrated beautifully! On top of that, how come two beings with ethereal look are in the same screen!?
It's far from the image of B rated Chinese RomCom drama where they overly sell the skinship between main leads and disregard the rest. YAMG successfully pictured a true passion of each of the team to bring the best out of the drama.
The characters are genuine, you can quickly relate their happiness, struggle, hesitation, passion, seriously... No exaggerated gesture!
If you a fan of CDrama, this is the series that you MUST watch.
If you a fan of KDrama, I can guarantee you won't be back to Korea for sometimes (or maybe never?) after you watching this.
