Dr. Ye is afraid he wouldn’t be able to marry Ning Xin due to the book. He wants Xi Ruo to clarify with Ning Xin but Yunzhao Art Pavilion is gone and everyone is missing. Xi Ruo accuses Hong Bin of hiding her mother. Hong Bin wants her to withdraw her Happy Fairy books before revealing her mother’s whereabouts. Xi Ruo refuses and sneaks out. She discovers that her mother has shifted to a bigger place and the customer who had helped her must be Hong Bin. Xi Ruo drops hints to Ning Xin to accept Dr. Ye. Outside Li Manor’s entrance, Dr. Ye pulls Xi Ruo aside to talk about Ning Xin. Ru’er’s maid sees them together. Xi Rou soaks herself in the bathtub to hide that she has snuck out in her disguise when Hong Bin suddenly turns up at her room. She stands up when he doesn’t seem to believe she is bathing. He immediately turns away. Xi Ruo tells him that she has misunderstood him and it makes him happy. A Shuang has lost her memory. The mysterious man is now seeking out Happy Fairy. Ru’er tries to instigate Song Qin again but Jing You tells her to stay away from Ru’er. Xi Ruo gives Dr. Ye some jewelry and teaches him what to say to woo Ning Xing. But Dr. Ye ends up annoying Ning Xin instead when he fails to confess his feelings. Xi Ruo has to sneak out again to help Dr. Ye. She is caught climbing the ladder and falls down. Ru’er witnesses it and gets suspicious when Xi Ruo insists that she is fine. Hong Bin carries her back and reprimands her. When Xi Ruo accuses him of torturing her, he looks sad.
