Xi Ruo has stolen the key and is unsure how to face Hong Bin. Her husband is feeling confused over her hot and cold attitude. Jing You is throwing a tantrum over his acrimonious relationship with Song Qin. Xi Ruo tries to comfort him but is shooed out. She drops the Treasury key in his residence. Hong Bin wants to make Xi Ruo happy and asks A Mao for suggestions. Xi Ruo has to return to look for the key at Jing You’s place. She pretends she is there to offer him advice on how to forget Song Qin. Xi Ruo is unable to find it and has to return a few times to continue looking. When Song Qin turns up, Jing You listens to Xi Ruo to shoo her away. On her subsequent visit, she finds him happily playing mahjong with Xi Ruo. She is unhappy and sits outside until she falls asleep. Jing You carries her back. Hong Bin asks Xi Ruo for a date on the same night as the deadline for her to hand over the painting to A Shuang.
