Song Qin is dreaming of Jing You but he is evading her. He thinks that Song Qin is simply kidding with him. Song Qin confides in Song Zhi that she is now fond of Jing You. Song Zhi wants to leave Li Manor already as it is unsafe for him. He locks up Song Qin. He tells Hong Yu and Xi Ruo that he is taking Song Qin home to report to their father. As they argue, Hong Bin arrives with Song Qin. She has sent him a help message. Song Qin contradicts her brother and insists that she now only wants to marry Jing You. She also doesn’t want to leave Li Manor. Song Zhi agrees to let her stay while he leaves the city. A Shuang turns up again to threaten Xi Ruo who insists that the painting is not in the Treasury.
