Not much happened throughout the whole show
The show was cute, but there just wasn't anything happening. Each episode brought more of the same. I don't like a lot of angst in the shows that I watch, but there has to be some kind of drama to drive the episodes forward. This did not have that. You could literally come in on any episode and not feel like you have missed anything.I thought the highlight of this drama was the architecture. The house on the rocks was really cool. The office where he worked, surrounded by walls of books was nice too.
Acting - Zhao Yi Qin as Su Mu was the typical cold, emotionless man that we've seen countless times in countless other dramas. I do have to say that he is VERY attractive, and once he warmed up a little he was a joy to watch. Ding Yi Yi as Tian Tian De...hmmm, I don't know if it was because of the writing or her acting, but I just wasn't impressed. She is a beautiful young lady, and they made a cute couple, but she spend an inordinate amount of time being "cute".
The dubbing in Chinese dramas is always problematic for me. WHY in the world do they use the same woman with the same whiny voice in so many of these?! Then there are the open-eyed, still-as-a-statue kisses. Please, if you want me to believe that they like each other, there needs to be some kind of emotion!
I'm not giving a spoiler to say that I REALLY loved the scene with the ear buds. That was an extremely cute and sweet scene, but not enough so to make up for the rest of the show. I'd say that if you want to watch something sweet, with no drama, and you don't want to get invested in the characters at all, give this show a try.

Light hearted and cute drama
A really pretty cute and lighthearted drama! The pace was okay. Definitely a good filler drama of your have extra time. There’s a slight second lead syndrome imo..The downside of this drama is the storyline wasn’t planned exceptionally well. Other than the great relationship that each of the family has, I feel that some
of the characters are not developed as well which is kind of a pity.
Although it’s a happy ending, I felt that it isn’t “enough” . Then again, I did mention that it’s a good filler drama!

Lacking in storyline and sweetness
For a drama than seems like a lot of potential, this failed. It's a rather dull watch, like nothing really stood out.Male lead sometimes will experience times where he cannot speak. He finds out the only way for him to talk is eat the homemade ice cream of the female lead. However they start off on a wrong foot. She thinks he is a creeper/ pervert, but in reality he is just someone who flies drones and does studies/ test. The fact that he cant speaks doesnt help. Finally he discovers the ice cream and he somehow now can talk. Coincidentally they even become neighbors. Male lead invites her over to teach male lead how to make ice cream. He soon realizes that it doesnt work. He finally realizes that is has to be from the female lead. So she makes ice cream for him everyday.
The drama is only 22 episodes long! Didn't feel like there was much story development not to mention relationship development I like male lead ( the actor) but i felt they didnt even have an ounce of chemistry. The way that the leads interacted, i felt no chemistry so I wasnt as moved by the sudden kisses. Like the male lead randomly kisses her in occasions that make the female lead skip a heart beat.. but not me lol. Then after that their relationship becomes ambiguous, its not really clear whether they are together or now. Lol call me old school but there always need to be the part of confessing the love!!!!
This drama in between dramas to watch . To be nothing to special or eye catching, a little disappointing.

Ice Cream Bring Su Mu and Tian Tian Together
‘Sweet’ in Chinese language was tián. I think that’s why the drama title was ‘Sweet Sweet’.This drama was a light and short drama. It focused on sweet and fluffy love between adorable couple, Su Mu and Tian Tian De.
▪️Main Points
~ Ice Cream bring two people closer and fallen in love with each other.
~ Su Mu was unable to speak smoothly because of his illness and needs something cold (ice cream) to help him cured.
▪️Short Synopsis
Su Mu was a mechanic aircraft that responsible for making an aircraft flies with successful. He has an illness which was unable to speak because of mental disorders. He needs a cold things like ice cream in order to cure it. He met Tian Tian De when he failed to control his aircraft and it landed near her. The aircraft chipped fell into Tian Tian’s hoodie and caused the aircraft crashed. At the same time, he became unable to speak. After that, he met for several times with Tian Tian because of his aircraft failures. Tian Tian feels she was unlucky enough because of their meeting since she keeps getting into several accident. She was an adorable girl who likes to play baseball and painting during her free time. She also helps her parent with their ice cream shop. Because of an ice cream she got to know Su Mu. Su Mu was able to speak smoothly when he eats ice cream that was made by Tian Tian. Ice cream was the reason why they’re got together.
▪️Opinions
~ General speak, if ML can be cured because of an ‘ice cream’ (not only an ice cream made by her), it can be accepted. But here, he only cured by eating an ice cream made by FL. So it’s a bit weird to me.
~ I love the drama that have a sweet short story even it only involves a little bit romance. I love to see how ML fallen in love with FL even they’re met in short time.
~ I love the scenery in this drama. The drama mainly took places at the peaceful strategic areas like beaches, mountains and islands. It’s have a calm and beautiful scenery. Even their houses were so pretty and nice building that’s have beautiful surrounding.
~ The romance development between ML and FL were a little slow but it still doesn’t make the drama bad. You still can enjoyed the sweetness of ML and FL when they’re together.
~ There’s no secondary couple in this drama. It mainly focused on ML works with his colleagues and families also FL with her hobbies and friends.
~ Li Di was a matured and sport guy. Even he was one year younger than Tian De, he doesn’t look like that. He did not blamed others when he failed to get Tian De as his girlfriend. I love his character.
~ Su Mu and Tian De after being in relationships were really sweet as much as the title. They have a lot of kisses and very sweet to each other.
~ There’s also no third people between ML and FL. SFL only has one sided love to ML but she doesn’t disturbed or flirts with him. Thus ML and FL were happy together. All friends and families positively accepted their relationship.
▪️Characters Intro
~ Zhao Yi Qin was a handsome man. He acts as Su Mu who has aphasia illness that needs to be cured with ice cream. He met with Tian Tian when he was practicing his aircraft and later he fell for her when they got closer. He was a calm and excellent mechanic who responsible for aircraft.
~ Ding Yi Yi acts as Tian Tian De. She was a cute and lovely girl. She likes to painting and playing a baseball. She also helps her parent to sell ice cream in a shop. She was friends with Li Di and the gangs and played baseball with them. She fallen in love with Su Mu because he’s handsome.
▪️Overall
The development of the drama was a bit slow for the drama that has a short total episodes. I think mainly because of ML has a calm and slow characteristic which makes their romance a little bit slow. But for the general, I think it’s okay since the drama was a simple love drama for the audiences to watch. It did not have any misunderstanding or obstacles happened. Audiences can just enjoyed it and relax their mind.
I love to see the development of ML and FL in the drama. They’re both have a different personalities and everyone will expected ML with SFL regarding their similarities but ML was more suited with FL. They also have a sweet chemistry when they started to couple. You can see it if you’re watching.

Development by leaps and bounds from his social anxiety
What a delightfully adorable drama which was quick and easy to watch like only 11 full one-hour episodes, and it flew by so fast! The male lead had development by leaps and bounds from his social anxiety. The female lead stayed bold, creative, forged her dreams with his support, and remained optimistic and bright. I found this to be a very excellent romance with skinship and cohabitation.There were memorable kisses while the main couple maintained their innocence, modesty and fully loved in their relationship. 👄He thought he couldn't be his best self without her ice-cream, but he discovered, to my pure delight, that it may not be the ice cream at all!🍦🍧🍨 This didn't get bogged down in the psychological issues of his disorder, yet still maintained how love brings positive changes.
Besides the prevalent love story, I reveled in the full impact of the pleasurable panoramas, picturesque settings, and the cinematography of the pictorial scenes. 🏞🏝🏖 This drama was just as sweet for my eyes as his noteworthy love and support for her architectural skill, her dreams and wishes. 🌠

For those who seek to understand the ending, their two years apart while she studied abroad passed by so fast as in a dream. I love that the writer and director did not dwell on their long distance relationship part but just gave us photos and snippets of their past times together that they glanced at on the phone. It's clearer when I cast it onto my big screen TV. The drama did a fast forward for us, skipping the part I always find tiresome as a necessary separation for one or the other. She completed her education, he developed his fleet of aviation drones to a precision of control that they made a formation lined up to depict her drawing, and the main couple resumed living in the house she designed that he built atop a rocky hill above the sea.🌤🌥🌊

Good but disordered
I quite liked the show, it was lighthearted while still showing major problems the characters were facing.Acting was good, music okay, the setpieces were really nice.
My only problem was that the love story felt really dragged out for no apparent reason. There came a poitn at episode 12 or 13 where it was clear both to the audience and to the leads that they were in love, and the other was likely also in lvoe with them. Then for some reason it dragged them becoming a coupel out another 6 or so episodes, where nothing of real importance to their relationship happened, and all the other storie arcs that happened would have worked perfectly fine with them beeing a coupel as well.
Overall it just felt really pointless to drag the relationship out liek that, especialy since a lot of scenens in episode 15+ would have wokred BETTER if they'd been a coupel at that point learning to get along with each other as one and such.
That aside, still recommend it as a light fun romp and growing up story.

It's a sweet and fluffy drama.
It's really a good and watchful drama. I really like the story because it's unique and sweet. I like the acting of both the leads. Especially, Yin qin's acting because before this present drama, he has acted in two costumes dramas which were very difficult act and then this drama which is completely different from those two costumes dramas.This drama is also mysterious if you see. Firstly, why does su my likes to consume sweet or cold things and why does this help him in calculation, is he in some serious illness. Secondly, Why he likes to fly the drones.
I like how the female lead is super talkative and super cute and the male lead is cold but warm hearted and also he super handsome and cute.

This one is for the Zhao Yiqin fans
I am sitting through this drama & I know it will receive plenty of criticism but seriously those criticisms need to be saved for the dramas which have 2 big lead names, 40 episodes & going out to make their drama a classic. This drama have non of that, clearly just a drama for fun, laughs for that audience & entertainment. This drama is for those who love watching Zhao Yiqin, bit of excitement seeing him paired with a fresh face.The supporting cast surprisingly play a very minor role, clearly the focus in on the leads. Zhao Yiqin plays his trademark cold character & he is brilliant as usual. Ding Yi Yi plays the warm energetic female lead & I refuse to compare her to Li Jiaqi, Zhou Mo or Li Hao Fei as the tone of this drama is completely different to the dramas those ladies were in with Zhao Yiqin. Ding Yi Yi objectives is to get laughs, was there a bit of sillyness, of course but the laughs were there too.
Is this your classic Allen Ren & Bai Lu lead classic? No! But I will say this. I prefer watching Zhao Yiqin over Allen Ren & prefer watching anyone Zhao Yiqin is paired with over any big female name including Bai Lu. I also watched F&E and felt more relaxed fun tone watching this drama!

He is super sexy. I recommend this drama to everyone just because of zhao yi qin. I already watched his drama MY GIRL. it is a big hit of this year. I already watched his another drama My Youth. He was damn sexy there. HE IS A GREAT ABILITY OF ONSCREEN KISSING. HE IS DAMN GOOD IN KISSING. He is so good in every drama. He is more suitable for modern dramas than historical dramas. He is so sweet. The story of sweet sweet has a great meaning. He is damn good in acting. I think he shoukd do more and more main leads. He is internationally quite famous.
