Snooze remake
I love the Chinese version of this drama, and it is leaps and bounds better than the Korean version, however, Kim Yo-han for me isn't the problem. Yes, the acting is nowhere near as good as the Chinese version, but I don't think that's because of Yo-han. I didn't like the female lead's acting, and this put me off. It came across as cringy and quite forced. I believe that maybe this just wasn't the best casting, as I found the couple didn't have any chemistry. However, the side couple was a glimmer of hope. I grew to enjoy watching the side couple a lot more than the main couple, and found that the acting and the chemistry between the two were a lot better.
Personally, if you were interested in this plot line, I would 100% watch the Chinese ver first and then give this a shot if you still want to watch it.

Light-hearted youth romance
There's nothing outstanding on the plot itself, it's a typical high school story of friendship, crushes, romance, love triangle and such but still it sends butterflies on my stomach as I'm watching it. I love the journey of them getting older. I felt like I was growing with them. I saw a lot of negative comments regarding the 'remake' however I wasn't able to watch the original version yet so I can't really compare it to that.If there's one thing that left a mark on my mind, it was how pure is the second lead's feelings towards the main lead to the point that he even set his feelings aside just to make SolYi happy. That was so touching for me. The casts chemistry is superb and I just feel energized watching them.
I love that they used Kim JongKook's song 'Lovable' as the OST. I am definitely singing it on my mind most of the time.
If you just want a chill series to watch that will bring you back to your high school days, this is definitely a must watch. It's just a nice stress reliever after a long day.

Cute and simple high school romance
Just your basic high school romance, but something about it sets it apart. Characters have an adorable relationship with eachother. Sure togive you second-lead syndrome.Love the way they showed how the characters grew up, and how the plot taps into the theme of first love. Yohan is an amazing actor - the perfect fit for the role! Sol-i is such an adorable character, and the chemistry between her and Heon is very well portrayed, both played by amazing actors. Certainly did the orginal justice. Definitely worth watching!

Pretty Cute
I remember being excited to watch this drama and waited for it to come out and honestly it was a pretty cute drama. Of course tho after I watched and finished it did I come to find out that there were other remakes meaning the first og one was a cdrama and there was a Thai adaptation. I honestly wished I watched the og before this one but eh. If you haven’t watched the first one or you don’t want to then this drama is for you. Ik some peoples reviews about this drama may come off as terrible (maybe bc they watched the og one first) but like I said if you don’t feel like or aren’t interested in watching the og then this version is pretty nice. Like I said, it’s a cute and pretty funny high school drama where the fl is bubbly and kind whilst the ml is a bit nonchalant. If you like characters like these then don’t be shy to watch this drama! Was this review helpful to you?

To be pretty blunt it was not that good of a drama.
It was based off of the c drama A Love So Beautiful so I can’t really blame the writers that much but I’ll give my input.Pros: cute, emotional, good actors, and fair enough comedy.
Con: underdeveloped plot, characters are sort of basic, lack of clarity in direction of the show, and cliche.
I would say this is for the ones who live for romantic, cute, heartwarming, tsundre, sad backstory dramas. (No judging we all need those in our life at some point). If you’re looking to be invested in this drama spending every night watching it and preparing to look up every little detail about it then....

HEARTWARMING 100%
Just... ahhhhh Thinking about this drama makes me feel warm and happy! Kim Yo Han and Seo Yoo Yeon were amazing. I liked that the lenght of the episodes was not more than 25 minutes because it meant I could binge watch it easily and really invest in the characters! I do not know if I would rewatch it simply because I now know the ending. I always enjoy watching Korean high school dramas because it seems to be really different to the school system in my country. And of course the OST is the star (thank you Kim Jong Kook for this gem and SinBi for covering the song)! Was this review helpful to you?

a love so Beautiful
I loved this kdrama with all my might, and it's my comfort drama it is everything my heart. and i have rewatched too many times to count. the main female like his kim yohan and i like his characther but not like a "i will get on my knees to marry you" kinda like. it's just oh your okay just not my type of dude personaility wise. but kim yohan is pretty hot. then the main female lead is so cute. she is kinda pick me girl but she still cares for heon and tries everything to get him to like her back. the second male lead the dude with the second lead syndrome he is so cute and adorable he even hurt himself to help sol-i and hurt his shoulder so he can never swim again and when their relationship became better sol-i kept going back to heon. and the thing is heon only started liking shin sol-i after daesung came into the picture and started becoming closer to her. now for the side couple, where do i start THEIR SO CUTE! jung jin is so cute and he can have my heart if i get valentine choclates i would give them all to him. and the girl is giving me so much bi panic i'm not even gonna lie.Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointing watch
My judgement of this show is based purely on the Korean version, as I did not watch the original. (I might do to see if its any better)Disclaimer: This review contains spoilers
(I totally forgot the names of the characters)
In the beginning (first few episodes) I kind of enjoyed the show. Usually I am a fan of fluffy slow burn romance. However this was just too immature and slow for me. There are just many things that bothered me with this show.
First of all the main characters. Both of them are very childish and do not develop much throughout the story.
I really dislike the tsundere nature of the male lead. Sometimes this personality trait can go well but in his case it was just very off putting. Instead of teasing the female lead he just behaved very rude as if he did not like her at all. The after end credits made me sympathize with him a bit more but overall he was just very unlikeable.
The same goes for the female lead. I found her quite insufferable because of her immaturity. It seems as if she has not aged at all even after the countless time skips.
Which brings me to my next point: the time skips! Eventually they just got on my nerves. They just made the story unnecessarily confusing and were used way too often. This made me really dislike the pacing.
Another aspect I did not like were the side characters.
Firstly I hate love triangles so I did not appreciate the fact that there were two male leads. If I am being honest I liked the second male lead a lot better. He was always there for the female lead whenever she needed him and overall just treated her a lot better. Even though she made her intentions clear (liking first male lead) he did not give up and treated her the same. (I was really rooting for him)
Secondly the side characters just had horrible development even worse than the main characters. The relationship between female leads friends felt so forced. At times it felt like the friend did not even like her boyfriend. The fact that they were still together after college and even married was so surprising. While they were dating in highschool she tried to have an inappropriate teacher-student with the school nurse and that whole situation was brushed off so fast. I truly hated their relationship and think it is one of the worst ones I have ever seen in a K-Drama.
Overall the show was just not for me. I simply dislike shows where adult characters have one small kiss at the end of the show and act all shy and embarrassed when the accidentally touch each other. I really had to force myself to keep watching it in hopes that it would get better. (It did not)

Disappointing
Started great and had two handsome male leads. Loved the development of the plot but, in my opinion, the script took a nosedive a few episodes from the end. I have found that many of the dramas I watch start as if written by an expert but finished by an amateur. I kept going hoping it would improve but couldn't face episodes 22-24. Since the Chinese version is highly recommended I'll check it out. The most upsetting thing for me is not to be able to give 5 stars and the actors deserved that. Was this review helpful to you?

It about a girl who falls in love with her neighbor that she known since they were kids. There are starting HS and she tell him she likes him and he responds I don't like you, and she's says that's OK I'll find away. This is there journey from puberty to adulthood a spand of 10-12 yrs.
They go thru many stages of her being clumsy, annoying, friendship, funny, sad/crying, happy, jeousle and most of all Love. They have a small group of 5-7 true friends they all go on this journey together from HS to college to Master each one finding out who they were and what they want in life and career. At some point they had to separate to different roads but they were lonely until they found each other again and life went on 💗💗😊😊

ORIGINAL (C version) is gem :)
Someone who has not seen the Cdrama version may like it but as for me ...the story is quite rushed . You don't get the essence, the feel of the moment...comparatively if you see the Cdrama version you will understand what I meant..I watched it because I didn't have anything to watch but if I have to choose between this and Cdrama version,I will anytime choose The ORIGINAL A LOVE SO BEAUTIFUL..That one is perfect the longing, the urge the chemistry is perfect , the Second lead syndrome is to the point but here I didn't feel any of these ..the chemistryis blank, the SLS Is nowhere to be seen . You may like the characters individually but as a whole something is missing. It is partially because of lesser number of episodes as well and even the cast..I feel the casting could be better..The female leads's acting is not the issue..the problem is she doesn't fit the role she looks way too older than ML and is not at all cute ( it looks as if she is trying to be cute and innocent) she is not childish ..something seems off..The male lead is not cold and distant in this one as he is trying to be he is on the cuter side..I do like cuter guys but if the ML is supposed to be cold and distant then show it properly why do that half heartedly ..It just doesn't go with the plot ....ANYWAY, TO SUM IT UP: - IF YOU WANT TO WATCH IT SURE GIVE IT A TRY BUT IF YOU WANT REAL FEEL OF THE STORY GO FOR THE CHINESE VERSION :)
