Not a mystery lover but this is an exception

I'm not a mystery lover. Most of the times, I find them hard and confusing to follow with all these law processes and difficult positions. But this one really stood out. First, I have to say that as a fangirl, I particularly enjoyed all the scenes that had to do with her fangirling habits of watching Do Laik's clips, buying merch, streaming and all. It was very sweet!

The ML fit the role extremely. I loved him as an idol, especially after watching him in "Her private life" where he played a known actor. He's very charismatic and cute and I was rooting for him the entire time! He deserved the justice!

The FL was sweet and reasonable, definitely one of the times a female persona really stood out for me. And even though they had seen each other as kids, I loved how we missed the whole "been childhood friends who lost each other on the way" that seems to be the case for almost any kdrama nowadays.

Generally, I am a person who predicts the endings of shows. But this wasn't the case for this one, which surprised me pleasantly! They managed to maintain my interest till the end and have me wondering over who the culprit may be! Overall, very nice series with lovable leads.

It pains me to write this

It literally pains me to write this for a drama that Kim Seonho stars as I am a huge fan of his. But this drama has disappointed me in so many levels... The original storyline from how I had seen it on the trailer seemed amazing! And the first episode also was incredible. After watching it, I felt like I'd found my kind of drama.

I was quickly disappointed when the whole Do rami storyline was introduced. The drama changed rapidly after that. From a lighthearted comedy that I was expecting to watch, it became a psychological quest, in which I was wondering the whole time WHY is everyone putting up with the FL and not taking her to a psychiatrist from the first place. I found the side story very annoying and time consuming, ruined all the romance and the originality of the plot.

And even worse, when the FL started to understand that she didn't even remember a whole part of her day or when she was sure that Do rami took control she was completely unbothered, as if everything was normal. Really disappointing... Expected it different... Especially given the fact that I love the cast.

Had more expectations

Honestly, I started this drama because I really like Junho as an actor and Lee Chaemin is also a very good addition to the cast. The plot originally seemed very interesting, a superhero inheriting his powers and learning that all good comes with a price, that we all have to pay something for doing what's good.

What initially irked me was the FL, the way she acted and the way she didn't even seem to be in love with the ML. Honestly, I get she was a struggling woman but most of the times she had me wondering if she really loved him or gave a penny over how he felt and if he was happy. She had really unreasonable thinking and acting many times, making ML feel like a clueless puppy that was mostly scared of her rather than in love with her.

The plot holes were also an issue, as despite the plot being very original and promising, the drama felt a bit rushed and halfway done. The biggest example was the final battle of Junho and Chaemin, when the villain had injected all the powers in him and he was apparently "undefeated". The writers spared no second thought but just making him lose only by being tied by some electricity cables.

Other than that, the cast was really good, but everything went down super fast. Would be way better if they gave this show some more episodes.

Uninteresting on the main part but a strong ending

To be honest, I might make the difference here and say I really liked the ending. It was an unexpected plot twist that I definitely didn't see coming and it really caught me off guard. To that, I'll give them props. I also really liked seeing Jang Kiyong at a more "controversial" character that differs from the usual perfect style he has. He really delivered his role well.

Other than that, I feel like the main part of the movie has nothing much to offer. It is quite boring and repetitive with nothing much going on. I expected him to cheat on his girlfriend with his coworker. I also felt bad about the whole miscarriage case, that I feel that was treated too lightly.

Would love to know more about the second guy the FL dated... At first I thought she was genuine with him but the movie left me with the feeling that she only dated him cause he represented a "perfect" image of her ex.

Speechless but definitely sobbing

What can I even say about this drama? From the talented casting that orchestrated the show beautifully to the amazing plot that kept me on the edge of my seat all the time. I loved it so much! Each episode, a sobbing session. Throughout the series I sympathized with so many cases of people who lost hope but found it back. The series convey a beautiful message of hope and a reassurance that the ever after we are craving so much will be so sweet. I sincerely suggest this one to everyone who hasn't watched it. It's a must.

This drama delivers exactly what it promises

I started this drama since I love lighthearted stories that help me unwind and this was exactly that! A refreshing youthful romance that later on escalates to adult life! A sweet romance that we all wish to experience. Jin hwan personally stole the show for me. He was incredible and every scene he was on was a hit! He never failed to make me laugh.

But where I think the show lacks is the dynamic between the lead and the FL herself. Heon looked really younger than the Sol I, his baby face also didn't help at all, especially given the fact that he'd eventually had to play a 30yo man. The FL looked nothing like a high-schooler and her attitude could cringe anyone off. Her forced aegyo also made it pretty uncomfortable at times. I would like some more depth on the characters' backstory. For example when Heon tells his mother he wants to be a doctor, she refuses telling him to remember what happened to his father, something that the viewers never find out.

Overall, a cute effort, quite enjoyable!
