Dream of Golden Years immedietely reminded me of Wild Bloom. Both of these Chinese dramas feature a determined female protagonist (who is intelligent and resillient) breaking into industries traditionally dominated by men (corporate/business world in the 1980s vs. steel industry in the 1990s). Both of the female leads start with little to no support and gradually builds success, overcoming many hardships and eventually becoming leaders in their industries. Both dramas are set during periods of economic transformation (80s and 90s).

Similarities:
-People growing up together trying to make a difference in their own lives and those of others.
-Not letting themselves be stepped on by bullies or others.
-Trying to bring in a new era of growth into their respective timelines.
-Mild romance and great friendships.

Similarities:
-ZLY plays lead in both.
-Both are about strong women not taking any slack from a "man's world".
-Both are retro dramas.

Wild Bloom and Princess Agents both have same lead actress Zhao Liying.

Both dramas have FLs who are smart, business-savvy women in the male-dominated steel industry of 1980s China. Family-friendly dramas. Both excellent.
