Of course there's a huge difference in the plots, but i personally find them similar in the male protagonist aspect. They are both writers with arrogant personality and family issues. The dinamics in the main relationship seem to be very alike too.

Both leads work together in some entertainment field and dislike each other immediately. Neither knows that they are online confidents and friends. Both MLs find out the FLs' identity first and keep it a secret for a while.

The main lead in this drama is the straight version of Wu sou Wei. Not only that but the main male lead looks so much like Ziyu! I just see Wu Sou Wei in all the expressions and emotions. Honestly it is a totally cute drama that somehow fulfills the need to see more of this beloved character but like in a parallel world.

Moonlight is another drama that talks about the relationship between a rookie editor and a best-selling author. ML is an author and FL an editor.

It's the same type of love story (editor x author), but this has a sexual side to it. It's a nice show to watch when you're bored and it doesn't take that long to watch. It takes about 3 hours to finish.

- ML has an ego, always says mean things but is actually sweet
- ML is well-known and praised in his industry
- FL is a newcomer but tries her best and is good at her job
- FL is sweet and understanding but will not compromise
- ML and FL work together and start living together
- There is some sabotage in the workplace and there is a major competing company
- ML and FL originally had a misunderstanding
- ML quite obviously starts liking FL first (at least from the viewer's POV)

Now that I think of it the vibes (esp of the main cp) are really the same for both...can't believe I only now realized. You will definitely like the other if you liked this drama. LIS is on my top 5 of 2020 and Moonlight is on my top 5 of 2021. Second CP is completely opposite though.

Both MLs are popular authors, both have an online connection with the FLs, both MLs find out the true identity of FLs first and keep it to themselves. MLs fall in love first, while FL likes somebody else. There's plenty of friendly bantering in both relationships. Both are sweet dramas.
