FL time travels and returns to her younger self and falls in love with the ML. Both FLs then try to undo a death (FL's mother vs. ML's). Both are school setting. The FL has met the ML in the past but doesn't know/remember it until much later after she time travels.

The FL in Shining For One Thing time travels to the past while in Leap Day the FL is time travelling to the future. Both are trying to figure out how to change the future.

Both the dramas have time travel and fantasy as the main theme. They talk about family relationships, about friends, about youth, school, and also about romance. Both the characters have regrets which make them to have time travel. But in IDWTBFWY she goes back to alter her mothers past. Both of them try to alter the future to have a better ending. The only difference is that in IDWTBFWY she stays in the past the whole time until get back to the future unlike in SFOT she goes back n forth in between past n future.

Both are Chinese dramas with a love story based upon time travel and changing fate.

Very similar mystery vibes. Both have a time travel aspect, both have one character who is dead in the future, both are set in high school.

For the first few episode of "Shining for One thing" , i was reminded of "Orange". The parallel universe and the death are the main component of the two stories. But, the whole plot is different. The first one is more romantic and mysterious. While the second one is more serious and mellow because of the mental health topic inside.

Both deal with time travel/romance. Both FLs sort of "messed up" in their current life and both plots revolve around the FL changing herself to give herself a better fate
