SFOT is about time travel, and ExY is about characters in novel, but both give off the same vibes. The female lead once liked the second male lead, but when she came to realization, she becomes interested in the male lead instead. Also, when the time changed, they put the same sound effect too.

If you want to see something similar or exact same as Shining For One Thing then Blue Birthday is definetly for you. However i must warn you if you are up for a superb acting then this drama might not be for you since there are rookie actors in the cast. Personally for me, for a mini drama I think everyone acting was still better than some of the mini drama I have seen. Another thing might be since it's a mini drama the plots are not that exploits but it's definelty a worthy drama to binge if you are craving for a similar drama.

Female lead goes back to the past and realised many things she didn't knew before. How much the ML had done for her and loved her.
It's also similar that the past she went back to does not have any effect on the present.

Reset is about time loop while in SFOT, the FL travels through time and space with the help of her phone and goes back to her school days and tries to change her fate as well as to save the ML.

Both dramas involve one of the leads dying and then a cellphone allowing the other to return to the past/alter the events that happened. Both have a school setting.
