The Glory (2022)

Both are Revenge oriented dramas.

Both have Revenge Seeking female /male main Lead, chasing the bad guys.

Both have a troubled main lead (childhood school Bullying in "Glory" and personal family loss in young age in "Beyond evil" ) and so seeks revenge.

Both have a dark vibe around the main lead.

Both series are excellent tales of vengeance and perseverance from the perspective of an underdog in life.

Both are based heavily around school bullying and its consequences. If you liked 'Anyone Anywhere' definitely watch 'The Glory' because It's so so so good especially as it focuses more on revenge so it will give you a lot of peace too lol.

Both stories involve an elaborate plan for revenge that the female leads have been secretly plotting for decades.

Both the glory and why her have the same vibe. FL going against a big enemy. And also both have a mismatched age gap imo

Both main characters experienced a loss of innocence at a young age, and make it their life’s mission to exact their revenge on those who ruined their lives. Both love interests partake in the revenge and have a connection with the main characters in a five-degrees-of-separation-type-of-way.

Both main characters are wicked smart and use their skills in the best way possible. They have a ragtag group of people who help them in their pursuit for revenge and justice. At times, both MCs are morally ambiguous.

Both are amazing and fun. They are both very lighthearted and amazing. The plot in both is well thought out and the charters all feel real

Both are about revenge and set in school as far as the latest update about the glory, also its with veteran cast.

Both of them were affected by a tragedy in the past that they felt wasn't properly justified, which is what drove them to take matters into their own hands.
They give off the impression that "if you want justice, you have to acquire it yourself."

I love the FL leads in both these dramas. They are strong smart female leads, out for revenge. In the Glory, the FL is seeking revenge on her high school bullies. In the Good Partner, the FL is seeking revenge on her cheating husband and his mistress.

Even though they are c and kdrama from the name to the plot and how is female center is VERY similar. Both have crazy revenge plots: how the fl comes back years later for her revenge and the ml helps the fl with revenge. Both have minimal romance, but the chemistry and the intense between the leads is beautiful. If you like the K version, you will most likely like the historical C version.

Thriller/Mystery /Brutal/Violence

Im Ji Yeon is also a main character in this series.

'Ji Na is a hotel employee who is tracking down her older sister’s disappearance. Although she appears to have a smooth-sailing life, she is a person filled with a great sense of inferiority on the inside. Following the news of her sister Ji Hyun’s disappearance, Ji Na returns to her family’s house, the Rose Mansion, only to be swept up in an unexpected situation. '

Although Miss Gu is a cdrama that isn’t nearly as dark as the glory, nor does it have high quality cinematography BUT it has the following similarities:

The Glory:
FL plans for many years to take revenge & punish the group of bullies that tortured her in school. She gets close to the husband of the main villain and has a well calculated plan.


Miss Gu:
FL plans revenge for 8 years on the group of bullies that framed and ultimately drove her brother into su1c1de. She also gets close to the partner of one of the bullies (moves in across).
And has a step-by-step plan to ruin the bullies.


In both dramas the revenge is both mental and physical and the FLs are one step ahead.
They both waited until the bullies had achieved or are close to achieving their ideal life, to then begin their revenge.
There is slight romance in both too and while both FLs are cold and calculated, in The Glory the fl is traumatized and it’s more about physical school violence.

The story telling is different but the female revenge saga was similar:)

Both dramas are about female leads that get brutally bullied by classmates. Both dramas are quite extreme in terms of portraying that bulling. And both girls take their revenge for what has happened to them in very extreme ways.
