Although Miss Gu is a cdrama that isn’t nearly as dark as the glory, nor does it have high quality cinematography BUT it has the following similarities:
The Glory:
FL plans for many years to take revenge & punish the group of bullies that tortured her in school. She gets close to the husband of the main villain and has a well calculated plan.
Miss Gu:
FL plans revenge for 8 years on the group of bullies that framed and ultimately drove her brother into su1c1de. She also gets close to the partner of one of the bullies (moves in across).
And has a step-by-step plan to ruin the bullies.
In both dramas the revenge is both mental and physical and the FLs are one step ahead.
They both waited until the bullies had achieved or are close to achieving their ideal life, to then begin their revenge.
There is slight romance in both too and while both FLs are cold and calculated, in The Glory the fl is traumatized and it’s more about physical school violence.
The story telling is different but the female revenge saga was similar:)

Both The Glory and Green Rose feature protagonists whose lives are shattered by betrayal and injustice, driving them into dark, high-stakes journeys of vengeance and survival. In Green Rose, the lead is wrongfully accused of murder and battles through crime, corruption, and identity loss to reclaim his life and love, while in The Glory the heroine endures brutal school violence and spends years meticulously planning revenge on those who ruined her, navigating a harsh, unforgiving world where powerful enemies manipulate the system and justice must be earned by force. Both dramas combine emotional depth, suspenseful confrontations, morally complex characters, and gritty storytelling that emphasize revenge, resilience, and survival against overwhelming odds.
Both are intense revenge driven dramas centered around abused women. These women do what they can to get their revenge on those who did them wrong.
Both are South Korean productions and both also have actress Im Ji Yeon in them.
Lies Hidden in my Garden the main characters abuse is primarily as an adult and The Glory the main character’s abuse is primarily as a teenager.

No Inji reminds me a lot of Moon Dongeun. The two female leads play broken characters whose pain is so visceral on screen and almost tangible. Seo Hyun Jin and Song Hye Kyo depict internal external pain in almost similar ways, to the point I worried for their health. However they also depict incredible strength despite their pain.
