One Of The Best Korean BL Drama In 2022! Wish It Was Longer
I finally completed watching this Drama I started watching when it first aired in Mid February 2022,I did not have alot of time to watch alot of Dramas at the begenning of the year so I put this on hold and I am
so glad I finished watching it. This Drama is so freaking cute and wish there were longer episodes.
I feel that the writer was testing the waters with the style as it was more cautious with not over loading too much romance.
This drama is watchable for anyone into BL drama, it's also recommendable for first time BL fans.
The two MLs are opposite of each other, one is a fun and happy cheerful and handsome Designer while the othe
is a serious bossy type but cute and over thinks everything that he think the other lead is ERROR! ERROR!!
But the only error was not having more episodes, it was the right amount of everything. Sometimes watching these
clean romantic shows are just the ingredients we need to laugh a little.
My ratings at the beginning was 8/10 and after finishing I gave it a full 10/10
because the only Semantic ERROR was not making more and longer episodes.

What all rom coms should measure up to
Absolutely the best! Story, acting, music, production, directing: 10/10. I watch this over and over and literally over again. I wish I could buy this in hard copy because I don’t watch things on Viki very often. Am I obsessed? Certainly. It could use you a couple of more intimate moments but that’s KBL story/editing for you. The original manhwa was as chaste as this show. Was this review helpful to you?
10/10
I knew people loved this show going into it, but it's genuinely one of the best BLs I've ever watched. In fact I think it sets a new standard - especially for Korean BLs. It was clearly given thought and an amount of care that is usually only afforded to heterosexual dramas. The cinematography, the soundtrack, the actors' chemistry was all a complete success in my opinion. It also (accidentally to my knowledge) provided some excellent representation of an autistic character navigating dating and adult relationships. Not to mention casual bisexual representation without it being a *thing* that it patted itself on the back for.
There are so many good things to say about this drama honestly. The only downside is how short it is, but don't let that discourage you from watching and loving it.

This show has embedded into my thoughts forever.
8 episodes is too short! The actors are perfect! I find myself unable to stop thinking of Park Seo Ham.
I haven't had this feeling after watching a BL in a long time. The last time I cannot stop thinking about a BL after watching it was Sotus. Before Sotus, was Addicted Heroin.
I love the direction of the series and needless to say, the execution of the entire crew, cast was sublime. We need a few more seasons and a movie!

BEST BL!
I can't even begin to describe how much I love this kdrama. Im not much of a BL watcher but I decided to give these two a chance and man, I was NOT disappointed. So many BLs nowadays glamorize SA and no consent for the sake of attention but this was so pure and lovely. Their whole thing was warning the other that they'll kiss them and he gets to choose whether he will allow it or not. When pushed away, he remains away and doesn't push forward. They're both so sweet and slow with one another, it made me thing maybe BLs aren't THAT bad.Was this review helpful to you?
STANDARD BL THAT DIDN'T REALLY STAND OUT
I watched this quite a bit ago so this will all be from what I remember...The story is your avarage enemies to lovers...Nothing really particular stands out, but this does not mean it's bad, it just leaves you wanting more.
The acting was good but forgettable, they played their characters well but did not REALLY embody them and sometimes went in too stereotypical ways for my taste.
Music was good from what I remember, but also not a standout.

Semantic Error is 100% one of my favorite BL series of all time. It may be short, but the relationship development is so good and I love it so much. I will 100% rewatch many times again in the future.

Silly in the best way.
I have a strong preference for cinema with an overall serious atmosphere, however, «Semantic Error» is drama that manages to be endearingly silly without coming across as overly cartoonish or cheap in the romance.Having read the webtoon prior to watching the drama, I feel compelled to mention how I think Jaeyoung's drama adapted persona is a great step-up from his character in the source material.
No other actors would have fit Sangwoo and Jaeyoung as well as Park Jaechan and Park Seoham.

Enemies-to-lovers
How do you review Semantic Error when it single-handedly convinced an entire generation that academic rivalry is actually a valid love language? This show took one rigid rule-following computer science student, one chaotic human embodiment of a red flag in a leather jacket, smashed them together, and somehow created one of the most satisfying enemies-to-lovers stories in BL history.
Chu Sang Woo and Jang Jae Young shouldn't have worked.
Which is exactly why they worked so perfectly.
Park Jae Chan delivered Sang Woo's logical, structured, emotionally unavailable personality so well that watching his world slowly fall apart because of one annoyingly attractive senior became the highlight of my week.
And Park Seo Ham as Jae Young?
The man saw one socially awkward programmer ruin his graduation plans and decided the only reasonable response was psychological warfare, relentless flirting, and becoming his personal software bug.
Watching Jae Young slowly move from wanting revenge to genuinely caring for Sang Woo was incredibly satisfying, while Sang Woo learning that not everything in life can be solved with logic gave us one of the best character journeys in recent BL history.
Their chemistry wasn't loud or overly dramatic.
It was in the teasing.
The stolen glances.
The quiet moments.
The way Jae Young learned Sang Woo's world instead of forcing him to change it.
And somehow that made every tiny step forward feel monumental.
The production team deserves their flowers too.
Director Kim Soo Jung understood exactly what made this story special and never overcomplicated it. The pacing stayed tight, the humor landed perfectly, and every episode left you desperately waiting for the next one. (Wikipedia)
The use of color throughout the series was brilliant. Sang Woo's world of blacks, whites, and order slowly colliding with Jae Young's bright reds and chaos wasn't subtle — and it wasn't supposed to be. Watching those worlds blend together visually as their relationship evolved was one of the smartest details in the series.
The soundtrack had absolutely no business being that addictive either.
And can we acknowledge the cultural impact for a second?
Semantic Error wasn't just successful.
It became an event.
It helped push Korean BL further into the mainstream and reminded everyone just how powerful a well-written, tightly produced story can be.
This series wasn't trying to reinvent the genre.
It just executed one of its most beloved tropes almost perfectly.
10/10.
Would absolutely watch Jae Young annoy Sang Woo into falling in love all over again.

I found many dramas to be boring. This one was NOT one of them.
Still one of the best bl's I've ever watched. Was hesitant to start because i was lazy but binged it and finished watching it till 8am.
Kiss scenes were so good. I usually watch thriller dramas but THIS. I really hope i can find a drama like this, the little effects like ERROR ERROR were gold

An Error which will make you Blush, Giggle and what not!!
It's a Drug and I am addicted and you will be addicted too.Story- 10/10 (bcz of the simplicity)
Acting- 12/10 (The actors born to be the characters)
Chemistry: 10000/10 (Just watch it and you will agree with me)
OST: 10/10 (The song is just perfect for the story.
The song itself is enough to describe the story)
Everything of this drama is perfect.
The Visual of main leads.
The acting, their Kissing scenes, their chemistry, the sexual tension between them.
And the STORY - yes, the story is addictive and perfect.
Unlike other stories, Author made the characters very normal and enjoyable and weird too. Lol.
I already read the manhwa and I can say that the adaptation is perfect.
This series shows the future of BL. ❤
