This show has embedded into my thoughts forever.
8 episodes is too short! The actors are perfect! I find myself unable to stop thinking of Park Seo Ham.
I haven't had this feeling after watching a BL in a long time. The last time I cannot stop thinking about a BL after watching it was Sotus. Before Sotus, was Addicted Heroin.
I love the direction of the series and needless to say, the execution of the entire crew, cast was sublime. We need a few more seasons and a movie!

BEST BL!
I can't even begin to describe how much I love this kdrama. Im not much of a BL watcher but I decided to give these two a chance and man, I was NOT disappointed. So many BLs nowadays glamorize SA and no consent for the sake of attention but this was so pure and lovely. Their whole thing was warning the other that they'll kiss them and he gets to choose whether he will allow it or not. When pushed away, he remains away and doesn't push forward. They're both so sweet and slow with one another, it made me thing maybe BLs aren't THAT bad.Was this review helpful to you?
STANDARD BL THAT DIDN'T REALLY STAND OUT
I watched this quite a bit ago so this will all be from what I remember...The story is your avarage enemies to lovers...Nothing really particular stands out, but this does not mean it's bad, it just leaves you wanting more.
The acting was good but forgettable, they played their characters well but did not REALLY embody them and sometimes went in too stereotypical ways for my taste.
Music was good from what I remember, but also not a standout.

Semantic Error is 100% one of my favorite BL series of all time. It may be short, but the relationship development is so good and I love it so much. I will 100% rewatch many times again in the future.

Silly in the best way.
I have a strong preference for cinema with an overall serious atmosphere, however, «Semantic Error» is drama that manages to be endearingly silly without coming across as overly cartoonish or cheap in the romance.Having read the webtoon prior to watching the drama, I feel compelled to mention how I think Jaeyoung's drama adapted persona is a great step-up from his character in the source material.
No other actors would have fit Sangwoo and Jaeyoung as well as Park Jaechan and Park Seoham.

I found many dramas to be boring. This one was NOT one of them.
Still one of the best bl's I've ever watched. Was hesitant to start because i was lazy but binged it and finished watching it till 8am.
Kiss scenes were so good. I usually watch thriller dramas but THIS. I really hope i can find a drama like this, the little effects like ERROR ERROR were gold

An Error which will make you Blush, Giggle and what not!!
It's a Drug and I am addicted and you will be addicted too.Story- 10/10 (bcz of the simplicity)
Acting- 12/10 (The actors born to be the characters)
Chemistry: 10000/10 (Just watch it and you will agree with me)
OST: 10/10 (The song is just perfect for the story.
The song itself is enough to describe the story)
Everything of this drama is perfect.
The Visual of main leads.
The acting, their Kissing scenes, their chemistry, the sexual tension between them.
And the STORY - yes, the story is addictive and perfect.
Unlike other stories, Author made the characters very normal and enjoyable and weird too. Lol.
I already read the manhwa and I can say that the adaptation is perfect.
This series shows the future of BL. ❤

One of the best BLs I've seen (and rewatched)
This ended up being my first kBL. I was relatively new to watching BLs in general at the time and had only seen a few thai BLs but WOW!?Semantic Error was such a fresh show for me, the acting was perfect, the chemistry was COOKING. I ended up rewatching the whole show 10 months after watching for the first time and my rating for the show went UP. I had originally put it at a 9/10 but I changed it to a 9.5 The ONLY reason its not a 10/10 was its so so short rip. Not that it needed the typical kdrama 1hr episodes for 16 episodes because tbh I get bored easily. There was not a single slow part and not a single time that I watched on 2x speed (I do this a lot in some of the other BLs). This opened up to me all the other amazing kBLs that I have also come to love. Semantic Error will always have a special place in my heart :)

best bl to ever grace this earth...
if anyone is considering watching, do yourself a favor and start now.this is the best drama i've ever watched. the story was so well done and suprisingly paced well, it didn't feel rushed at all. it actually had a cohesive storyline that I could follow, unlike some of the other far fetched and confusing storylines that seem to be prominent in bls. the romance in this drama is top tier, all of their romantic scenes were amazingly done and they felt natural, not awkward or out of nowhere at all. the music is suprisngly good, it seems to be hard to find dramas with good music lately. they're so good i even had to put them on my playlist, i really like can you stay. actors are really good too, i feel their chemistry! loooove the side characters too.
overall this is just an amazing drama and i've rewatched it like a billion times ;P

Lacking
Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes so of course I was gonna love this one, originally it as 100/100 but then I read the manhwa. With how short and the restrictions I understand why they couldn't add everything obviously but theres highly detailed short shows so they couldve added some stuff from the manhwa, basically the only things that are the same is the base concept of the story. But that doesnt mean its bad or anything, its still a fun and sweet story. I really liked how their relationship developed, the scene when sang u treats jae youngs scratch and when Jae young pulls sang u away from all of the drunk people are probably my favorite points in the show. I dont know how to describe it very well but I think those moments were definitely the turning points from hating each other to gaining those kind of romantical feelings, its kind of weird but also kind of sweet how quickly their relationship changed. Was this review helpful to you?
The best light hearted Korean BL!
Looking for a show to watch after crying your eyes out? Look no further but for Semantic Error! This show is so cute, and I have watched it about nine times since it came out. This show is very simple. It's a university enemy to lovers story. There is no big blow up in the plot, and it will not make you cry. This show is not for someone who likes very deep and in depth shows. I like light-hearted shows with lots of fluff, and that is what this show brings to the table! This is actually one out of my eleven 10/10 shows. I recommend this show to anyone who is new to BL or new to kdramas in general. Even though Sang woo can frustrate watchers because hes so orderly, you come to love is quirks. The character development that we get to see from Jaechan's character (sang woo) is actually so nice. Jaeyoung is definitely a fun character who knows what he wants! The side characters aka Jae youngs friends were so funny!ANYWAY, there is nothing I can complain about for this series. I have yet to find a Korean BL that lives up to this! Definitely give this show a try!

this is the best BL ever made and I will die on this hill
Are you kidding me ?Enemies to friends to lovers ?? Is it my birthday?
I went into it not expecting much bc we all know bl kdramas are not of the best quality (although it's getting a lot better) and well...jaw on the floor many times.
I can't think of a single thing I hated and the only reason I didn't give a 10 is bc my most favorite dramas can't be on the same level.
it was so cute and fluffy and there is no problematic scene (that I remember) ASKING FOR A KISS ? FOR PERMISSION? IN A BL DRAMA ? Marry me already
I'm sorry this gets me heated
I need to log off before I start to rewatch it right now
