A great start !

This show starts in a great way ! Having started watching a lot of similar dramas but being disappointed after one or two episodes, I can say I have a lot of hopes for the upcoming episodes ! I just hope they didn't just blandly made a copy of Mouse since I really wish to be surprised at the end of the drama and not just say "oh okay I new it since ep2...".

The casting is really good ,Jong Suk's acting skills didn't disappoint at all and I got to see another side of him here since I was kinda used to just see him in romantic types of dramas.

The other actors were great too! I just do not have any of their other dramas to compare their acting to, since I do not know them :(

I sincerely wish there were more of these type of dramas ... There are the only ones I am hyped and excited for the whole week just to see a new episode .

Thanks for reading this guys and if y'all have any drama suggestions I am here for it :)

Not exactly how I expected the story to be/to end but overall excellent!

A lot of things to talk about. First it's not what I expected it to be, I thought the moment we knew about big mouse that surely he is going to be Lee Jong Suk for sure! But what i didn't think of is him becoming big mouse! I thought he might become an evil character resulting him into becoming equal to big mouse (if he wasn't him) . Also just how surprising was it that Do ha's intentions wasn't only him wanting justice and revenge for his grandpa's death he also wanted to still work in the project his grandpa was against like whatt???!! He wanted money, power, wanted to stay in the filth ,like I thought he's gonna stop once he gets his revenge but noo..he became a monster .. And absolutely deserved his ending! ! (Not gonna lie didn't expect him to be the villain or him being evil like this to be exact, like I thought he might be big mouse but not this evil)

Loved the sequence of events honestly not what I expected like it's sad and funny and wholesome. Loved most of the characters and loved the ending it's sad and sassy and everything. So happy that he got his revenge in the sassiest way ever! Felt bad for Ko Mi ho but honestly she died as a hero and although I was at first like it's her fault why she bummed in that place from the first place but I really felt bad for her and she doesn't deserve what happened to her eventually she was an awesome character and what she did for her husband all her life is going to make him remember her for ever! Loved how he at the end he became a good villain ..
I agree the series was rushed at the end I would've wanted it to be more extended but because I watched the last three episodes together I didn't get so disappointed I felt it affected me emotionally that I didn't care for it to be detailed ,but bot gonna lie I got upset that they left a lot of things in the air without showing us and without explaining why they added this detail in the first place(like the psychopath why did you mention him if you're not gonna show us who he is). I would've loved it even more if it was at least 18 episodes. Regardless it's LJS's best work till now for me.

A lot to talk about but as usual my thoughts are so messy when I try to talk about a show!

rest in love, ko miho.

this year really screams for big mouth, so it has a high rating and they deserve it. everyone knows that big mouth has a nice plot and so many people make and conclude a theory.

regarding the ending, i feel dissatisfied cause it seems rushed and it seems like it's forcing ..... there are still some that haven't really been revealed at least we have a special episode or this drama could have been 20 episodes. why are people not looking for hyejin, who is chairman kang's son, etc. apart from miho's death, everyone felt his own hard time at the ending EXCEPT gong jihoon, he got what he wanted. also why at the end ko miho's dad is not shown? professor seo's paper wasn't elaborated, how's hyun juhee going after she became a witness in court? and I really, really don't accept that Choi Doha just died. he should receive the same recompense as he did before, i'm so MADDDDDD.

Big Mouse finds an apprentice.

I will not be long winded. Regarding the netizens' frustration about a rushed ending and a few bummers in the plot, as much as i agree with you all...i also saw the sum of all things from a different perspective.

1. The writer nicely used " what can go wrong will go wrong " for the explosion.
2. Big Mouse needed a puppet but he found a worthy student.
3. The FL chose hippocrates oath over common sense and of course every choice has karma.

It was a good watch. I love that the ML had a unique soundtrack for his alter ego.

Lot of plot twist

The story is about a lawyer who got involved with a wrong person and accused as the Big Mouse who is the greatest trickster that no one knows about who is the real Big Mouse. In the middle journey, He got into jail, got beaten, and many other things. But He never gives up on finding out who's the Big Mouth to take revenge. To fight the Big Mouth, He manages to make himself the fake Big Mouth. Sadly his family got involved too. That's how their journey begins to find out the Big Mouth and the real enemies.

There are a lot of plot twists until you find the real Big Mouth and who's the real enemies.

*In this series there is much blood so if you are afraid of fighting/blood scenes, just skip it.

PERFECT DRAMA but partly heart breaking end

The story follows The lawyer Park Chang Ho (Lee Jung Suk ), known among his friends by the: Big Mouth. He is actually a very ordinary lawyer, he don't win many cases, he has a lot of debts and he lives a happy life with his wife Ko Miho (Yoona) and his father-in-law. One day, he receives a call from an important person asking him to take over the defense of a three people accused of killing a professor working in Kochon Hospital, who will later appear to be a great danger to this elite. Chang Ho agrees in exchange for fame and money ofc , but he have a car accident and gets up to find out that he is accused of being the notorious criminal and looter money : the Big Mouse. He is arrested and the events goes on, Chang Ho transferred to the prison where he will resist to survive in this dark world that controled by the The corrupt elite that got him involved in these events from the beginning. We continue to try to guess who is really the big mouse, and what if he is it Chang himself. Suspicion will reach us the point that we can suspect his wife and even his father-in-law! At least that what happened to me!
A very wonderful weave with many puzzles and surprises in each episode, and the mesytrious events never loses its level, it continues to increase it in enthusiasm and suspense.
All the characters are great, and I loved the strength of the female cast, especially Ko Miho.
Unfortunately I feel disappointed in the end because of these points:
1- Ko Miho didn't have to die to order to destroy the evil elite! And Chang Ho to really become big mouse. It broke my heart, their perfect couple didn't deserve this end.
2- they mentioned that serial killer son of the old man but he didn't appear which confused me cuz he seemed important to the polt. And i was thinking if there's a season 2 to avoid this gap?
3- and i hate that no knew that Hee Jin was killed by her psychopath husband and no one seemed to be concerned about her.
But at the end i gave it 10 cuz it's a very good drama, and i loved every detail about it from the acting, the polt, and the chemistry between the main leads, they are amazing. And I'm very proud to watch Jung Suk coming back with such a good drama.

A MUST WATCH SERIES OF HIS COMEBACK!

This is one of the best drama of Lee Jong Suk that i watched. He is really consistent in his acting. I recommend this series to everyone "MUST WATCH". I am still waiting for the last two episodes to be aired and i am really excited and at the same time sad because this series is until 16 episodes. I am hoping to have his next drama for this year if given a chance. This is a breathtaking drama of Jong Suk. His partner Im Yoon Ah and his co cast are doing great in every episodes. I am looking forward to the ending of this series to be a blast. Keep it up and more power to the cast of BM. God bless you more power and projects to you LEE JONG SUK!

Big Mouth: High Expectations, Disappointing Ending

** I watched this a few months ago: these were my honest thoughts immediately after finishing **

***SPOILERS****

OKAY WOW.

First of all, I would not recommend watching the last two episodes in one sitting, because I was a MESS. The last four episodes were so sad and so painful and TERRIBLE. It feels like the screenwriters just gave up at the end.

First of all, every single character except Miho and maybe her dad is two-faced. Like they all suck so much, and I had no idea what to believe in. It was fun at first, but then it honestly got kind of boring. It was just plot twist after plot twist.

However, the main characters looked super good in this drama!! Lee Jong Suk was amazing in While You Were Sleeping, but I feel like this showed his range more, because that man can act!! Yoona was great too: her character was someone you just couldn't help root for. The actors were all amazing, which is what I appreciated.

Good Big Mouse

This was perfect. The story path this drama followed was greatly written. All episodes were exciting some even mindblowing. The story was always unpredictable and turnarounds were ever-present. When you thought it could get boring writers always pulled a trick up their sleeve . It showed how things can be very different in various perspectives. Great character development and outstanding performance from all actors. Mention worthy great screenwriting following steps of Vagabond . Best drama of 2021 was Mouse and this year I can say with confidence it's Big Mouse.

A Nail Biting Thriller all the Way

One of the best, if not the best drama of 2022. Fast paced action, great acting from Lee Jung Suk and of course, the drama itself that kept me on my toes from beginning to end. I must say I was also impressed with actors Kim Joo Hun as the villain Choi Do Ha and Yang Kyun Won as Kong Ji Hoon who was great in all his obnoxiousness.

I would have given this drama a 10 rating except that, I was not impressed with the partnership of Lee Jung Suk and Im Yoon Ah as husband and wife. Their lack of chemistry bothered me, especially, Yoon Ah's lucklustre acting were at best, hits and misses. She has this frozen look on her face most of the time that there's hardly expressive emotion that say, a particular scene calls for. Lee Jung Suk never disappoints as an actor and to his credit, he did study acting and was exceptional as Big Mouse. But when he and Yoon Ah were together in a scene, they just looked uncomfortable and awkward around each other. I did not feel any love or warmth in their embraces; they were more like best friends rather than husband and wife. They never even kissed throughout the drama which is weird considering they're supposed to be madly in love with each other. This weakness to an otherwise exceptional drama is why I shaved off some points in my rating. Overall though, I'd still give credit to screenwriter: Kim Ha Ram for writing an outstanding screenplay and directors Oh Choong Hwan and Bae Hyun Jin for a job well done.

THE ENDING

I was one of the few who wrote an early review, before I had the chance to read all the amazing and detailed reviews that followed. One of the comments a lot of viewers expressed was that the ending was rushed. For me, the ending started from the moment Choi Do Ha won as mayor and then, to the disappointment of Big Mouse and his team, as well as the viewers, including me (I did not see that coming), the court found him not guilty. To top it all, Chang Ho's wife, Mi Ho died and became one of the many victims of the company Choi Do Ha wrested from the elder chairman by killing him. Just when Choi Do Ha was celebrating his victory and having it all, he meets his death at the hands of Chang Ho.

Do Ha's death also signalled the direction Chang Ho was now undertaking with his life, and that is, to continue as Big Mouse. Earlier, he vowed and made it clear that he will only stay as Big Mouse until he puts Choi Do Ha in jail through the legal system. But then, he realized that the legal system was not perfect and people like his wife would die without justice meted on the guilty. Chang Ho bought the building and poisoned the pool that eventually led to Do Ha's death. Now that, by definition is murder, a clear indication that Chang Ho changed the course of his life, from the strait laced lawyer to head of an organization that functions outside the law.

I think it was a brilliant piece of writing on the part of the writer. The writer dropped hints like crumbs where Chang Ho experienced one setback after another so that at the end, the viewers will realize and understand Chang Ho's choice. What better poetic justice handed down to Do Ha than to die the same way his victims like Mi Ho died (radioactive poisoning). The last words of Chang Ho to Do Ha said it all., "The law was made to save people. But you don't need the law."

Not so great

Firstly in this show the whole concept of big mouth is very childish there is no power to the character and the way Lee jung suk's character designed is also not good. Yoona in this drama fears nothing acts like a super woman seems very odd. Overall I dint like the story I was very much excited but it's a very average drama..

Lee jung suk last drama though it's Melo it was very nice. In this story on the whole there is no power or punch to excite..

Talking about the big mouth too much buildup created but at last he just dies in a second same with the villain character.

The old man's son character has not shown in the whole show then y to bring it on..

This could have been good drama but somehow it doesn't work out and the impact it gives very lame..
