The ending is so rushed, we need more explanation or additional episodes

Park Chango finally became the Big Mouse. And just like Noh Park, he suffered a personal loss to really embrace the title.

Just like Miho requested, he'd be a good Big Mouse. A righteous one. But, Changho will no longer be lawful.

But, why can't we get more painful death for Choi Doha???

Also there are mysteries didn't reveal.

Hyejin die, Chairman Kang's son, Seo Jaeyoung's paper, who killed Noh Park's daughter, and when they know Choi Doha is Cho Sunghyun, I feel like it's doesn't affect Choi Doha even a little.

Best epic justice detective 2022 !

Magnificent series! I really like how justice is shown here in all its glory and this idea drives the actions of some of the main characters, which at first glance may seem negative. I would say that this series is all saturated with justice! but at the end it's a bit tragic and sad (I thought it would still be happy end for the heroes, but (... happyend was but in a different way. Damn it captured from the first seconds)) I looked at n.y. and did not regret it! The whole series up to episode 16 keeps u in suspense! It’s not really clear who the main leader of the Big Mouse really is (and it also turned out to be an organization of people that u begin to guess after several events ..) (even after they seemed to make it clear in the face of one character) because every series new faces appear that could her behavior… at the same time.. I think that the main leader of the big mouse didn’t really die, but was a friend of the lawyer Park Chang Ho, -Kim Soon Tae… because the facial expressions look very similar to that.. maybe Jerry , I think, that he is a leader (who immediately gave himself away to avert suspicion from himself and work quietly), but it seems to me that this is actually Pak's lawyer who, like a gray eminence, revealed his identity right at the end .. I really advise u to look, there are intrigues from the first series and each time more and more interesting and do not make it clear who actually framed Pak at the beginning (they also throw up a couple of people from whom the viewer can choose the one who, in his opinion, is the initiator of everything) and who this Big Mouse .. it’s also not clear who was the son of Mr. Kahn .. or they showed him, but I didn’t see his personality in the faces of the characters (because the series is so unclearly and twisted filmed that when events happen, both good and bad, the culprit can be several of them at the same time people, maybe many people look like facial expressions and behavior at once, and it’s really difficult to guess who really is who .. I think this is the coolness of the series and probably the director made a bet on it so that the viewer himself would think " all how and what " , although of course it is strongly twisted. could bring a little clarity on who actually founded the organization of the big mouse and who is this son of Mr. Kahn .. idk .. I looked very carefully, but either missed the answers to my questions or didn’t understand something .. but I still liked it and I I think this series is definitely worth revisiting! the main thing is not to get lost, as everything is very twisted so u need to carefully follow the dialogues and facial expressions in order to understand the actions of the characters.

"Panoramic" review and comments about the final

The very first episode had me attached to the screen. I remember this had like 4 episodes, and I saw all of it in one day or two.

The actors are amazing, most of them pretty known and may I add, please don't kill me yall, I had never seen any Lee Jong Suk dramas. But, I did knew he was pretty good! So to watch him in this drama, with those acting skills (he either looked like a maniac or a cute teenage boy and I loved it ~) I was astounded by his performance. I was always in a rush to watch the episodes not just because of the story, but also because of him.

I dare to say that for, at least, 8 episodes I almost added this one drama to my top 10 .
But, like many others, I am very disappointed in the last two episodes and that just affected my evaluation.

The ideal scenario for the latest episodes was to uncover everything even if the bad guys still winning.
Like, "we are winning and we don't give a d*mn if you reveal this or that. We'll still win." There's no problem in bad guys winning, matter of fact, thats what happens in this world. That's reality.
That kind of actions are what maddens people even more, but we still have the little hope of either:

- The good guys gonna do it all clean OR (the best one) the good guys actually turn into (also) bad guys and takes care of business in a dirty way.

Well, it did happen. But it took a lot of time for Chang Ho to realize that. Of course, with Mi Ho's death (wich I was betting on for awhile), it had to happen and he also respected her wishes of being a good 'Big Mouse'... But why did the story turn out to be like this in like... the last 20 mins?

This should've been built better. I don't get the rush, at all. In 16 episodes, everything could've been handled well, even with Mi Ho's death, with the disappearance of Jun Hee, etc., everything was understandable.
It was needed. But not for this kind of ending.

Now for last comments, I am seeing a lot of people wondering about Chang Ho's emotions on Mi Ho's death.
So, here's my theories:

- He either doesn't know how to portray that kind of emotion (talking about the actor himself )

OR

Another theory (and this is what I believe in):
- Chang Ho has suffered a lot this entire time, he was forced to change his mind, his way of doing things, he had even to manage to be able to change his emotions/ reactions... so at the end, he couldn't show what he felt inside.
He was indeed hurting, but he couldn't deliver any more suffering than that.
Plus, he was also accepting that he was happy and he'd do anything for Mi Ho - not to make a scene, to stay calm even though its a tough situation and handle the rest of the things as he should and let her rest in peace believing they have lived a wonderful life together.

I'm betting on this because I remember his crying scene, when Mi Ho visited him at the penitenciary, God d*mn. He was crying like a little baby that felt lost on a beach and got separated by his parents in the middle of the beach lol...

I am quite happy, of course, by seeing that Chang Ho took revenge that way. "Try your own poison, mother******". But this kind of rushed ending has sadden me, because this body of work had everything to be good.
Needless to say that I wanted to see a desperate and malicious Park Chang Ho after her death and then yes, taking revenge on that pig Do Ha.

When Power Becomes the Prisoner

Big Mouth is not a story about winning or losing — it’s about the invisible chains that power, greed, and fear wrap around every human being. From the very first episode, Park Chang Ho draws you in, appearing weak and unremarkable, a simple lawyer trapped in a world that rewards cunning and punishes honesty. But the genius of the narrative is how it slowly transforms him before your eyes. He is underestimated, dismissed, and almost swallowed by the system — and yet, every calculated move, every moral compromise, every tiny act of resistance pulls the audience deeper into his dangerous journey.

Lee Jong Suk’s performance is subtle, quietly magnetic. It’s not about explosive heroics; it’s about watching a man’s psyche bend, fracture, and evolve under immense pressure. Im Yoo Na’s character becomes a haunting mirror of the cost of survival — the emotional sacrifices, the betrayals endured, and the moral ambiguities that emerge when fear and love collide. The villains are terrifyingly human. Kim Joo Heon, Yang Kyung Won, and the NR Forum are not caricatures — they are polished, intelligent, and frighteningly plausible. This is a world where the most dangerous battles are fought in boardrooms and courtrooms, not dark alleys.

The suspense builds because the audience never knows who truly has the upper hand. Every episode twists expectations, and even moments of apparent victory feel precarious. The ending, however, is undeniably heartbreaking and unsatisfying — Park Chang Ho survives, but at the cost of his wife’s life. The personal victory is hollow, leaving a lingering sense of grief and injustice. Evil adapts, power survives, but even the protagonist’s victories are tinged with unbearable loss. Big Mouth doesn’t offer comfort or closure; it leaves you unsettled, questioning what justice really means in a world designed to manipulate and destroy.

Conclusion:
Big Mouth is a masterclass in suspense, psychology, and moral complexity. It isn’t about triumph over evil — it’s about survival, transformation, and the painful truth that some victories come at a cost too high to celebrate.

Like a plane crash

This drama started off strong, continued very strong only to crash at the end.

The casting was very good, the storyline brings out the best in the actors. Good acting from Lee Jong Suk, Yoona, all of the villains and supporting actors. I really liked LJS in this one.

The plot itself builds up so much anticipation for the reveal of Big Mouse. It’s an exciting journey but the big reveal is super disappointing. Not someone you would’ve expected or sadly even noticed in the drama.

A Drama Designed to Keep You Guessing

This show knows how to keep the audience guessing and on the edge of their seats with the storytelling and production style. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's interested in a good murder mystery story.

We follow the story of a third-rate lawyer Park Chang Ho who has been known for his low success rate in the courtroom. Mayor Choi Do Ha hires him to play the role of the double agent: an incompetent lawyer who'll follow the orders of three suspected murderers in order to win their case, while secretly trying to find concrete evidence of their crimes. However, Park Chang Ho is suddenly framed as the notorious crime leader Big Mouse and is sent to prison. Outside the prison walls, his wife Go Mi Ho who works as a nurse tries to uncover the truth behind the case her husband was looking into prior to his sentence and works towards proving his innocence.

Overall, the story was captivating and filled with twists and turns. Of course, it wasn't perfect. Some plot points feel like they fell through, not coming to any conclusion and left feeling like a red herring in the grand scheme of things. As other reviews have mentioned, the last 10 minutes of the show can really be a hit-or-miss ending depending on the viewer. For me, I didn't mind it and found it interesting. I do understand why it may ruin the overall show for some and believe that it could have been resolved by having one more episode to better wrap things up, but again, I didn't mind how it is now.

The team behind the show did great at constructing the plot twists, however, it did feel like some of the actors would have a complete 180-degree change in character as the story reveals their true natures. I can only describe it as the actors only being told their full backstories/natures the day of the scene (which I hope isn't true, but that's how abrupt it felt for me).

All things considered, I still loved the show, its flaws and all. Rewatching some of the first few episodes after completing the drama opens my eyes to all of the tiny foreshadowing hidden at the start, making me appreciate the writing even more.

not a must-watch

good until the ending, it felt rushed with no deep meaning to it and left lots of unanwered yet plot-relevant questions.
it had potential in the beggining, but after being half-way through, it took me effort to continue watching, and i was quite unpleased by the end.

if you have nothing better to watch, and like thillers and prison dramas with a smart male lead, you could watch it, but i wouldnt really recommend it.

almost perfect

one of the recently released dramas that i enjoyed and actually finished
the last few episodes had me on the edge of my seat
but tbh even after watching the end i don't understand what the takeaway or moral of the drama is

-spoilers ahead-
also it was weird how they made choi doha into the villain of the story and glossed over the true evil person that was chairman kang, just because he was murdered by doha
they totally forgot about dohas revenge story, even after he was revealed as cho sunghyun there was no consequences everyone just accepted it and then at the end he just died
plus chairman kangs son never even showed up to sue for the inheritance
the ending in general was just rushed...

LJS did it again this time!

I've honestly been in a kdrama slump ever since LJS got into the military so it's been a quite while since I got to really enjoy kdrama again. But when I heard that he is making a comeback on acting again and it's going to be a mystery/thriller concept, I was literally so excited! And oh boy did LJS and this series did not disappoint. It even got me out of my kdrama slump!

I don't like watching kdramas on a weekly sitting, I'm the type of watcher where I honestly binge it and just let it finished airing when I can. But the moment that this series came out, that changed. I found myself watching this series and anticipating it every week! And let me tell you that the wait was definitely worth it! Every episode, the tension was just SO SO SO thick that I was literally on the edge of my seat everytime. The twists were cohesively threaded into the plot of the story and it all made sense. It was definitely all thought out and planned. Everything felt earned, that's why it was so fulfilling to watch. Seeing the events unfold, understanding the different characters' motives and goals, and even seeing how they react to different situations are SO interesting to watch.

This movie also portrays the injustices in our society really well. It literally is so scary knowing how powerful the corrupt and evil are and no matter what kind of justice or fair trial you do to them. They'll get out of it no matter what because they have the connections and power that you don't have.

The cast is also very thought out and they really did great with the casting! Every actor in this series is literally so GOOD! Especially the one who portrays Gong Gihoon, the leader of the gang who owns the restaurant, Jerry, Miho's Father, Miho and Chang Ho! Kudos to them!

However, even though I really really really loved this series, the only thing keeping me from rating my score to a 10 is the ending. Don't get me wrong, I'm quite satisfied with the ending. It feels like we have reached full circle, but in a good way, and i really like that. But Chang Ho killing Do Ha in the end feels cheap. Chang Ho throughout the series talks about justice and the law and all that but at the end he just resorts to killing Do Ha directly? It would've been more satisfying if he was dealt with in a more lawful way, in my opinion. But just like what I said, I also like the ending that they wrnt with but I just wished that it was more paced out because the pacing in the last episode was just not it.

The pacing in the last few episodes were so fast. It could've been a much more satisfying ending by dragging the last episode into a couple more episodes (like an additional 1 or 2 episodes) for the pacing to feel better. It is kinda whiplash-y because it feels like everything is crammed and rushed in a single episode. I'm totally satisfied with Mi Ho dying but her death feels quite rushed too in my opinion. The sequence of events that lead to her death was surprisingly disappointing. She just fainted in the courtroom and then she died? It would've been better if, just like the wrongly accused serial killer, Mi Ho could be seen in a much more disheveled and sickly mess to really emphasize her sickness. It just felt odd because of the pacing of the last 2 episodes.

Overall, I am incredibly in love with this series and it is definitely a gem! Every episode will want you craving for more and i'm pretty sure that a rewatch would still feel the same. Everyone in the cast, the crew, and the production did an outstanding job! Kudos!

P.S. Lee Jong Suk doing this series as a comeback from military is a literal comeback. He did such a good job!

Almost perfect

Why? WHY????

I've let out my frustration, so let's get started😝

First, I hated Miho's death, which I think It was completely unnecessary. But someone had already told me (people love to give spoilers without warning), so I cried more with the death of our favorite psychopath who was not a psychopath.

Second. As soon as I found out who the big mouse was, I lost a lot of interest. It became a bit obvious and repetitive. (For me, it became a little boring.)

Third. I kept seeing it because the acting of the cast, the ost, the photography... Everything was extremely good.

Fourth. The end was so suddenly that It felt like they had to end and had no more time and couldn't do any more episodes.

However, apart from the unnecessary death and being predictable from Episode 12, it was one of the best dramas I've watched.

Big Mouth was a great drama. I'm reading the comments and people said it was a bad ending and it wasn't. Miho was going to die. She was terminally ill. Park Changho came to the realization that fighting with the law the bad guy could still win. He needed to come to the realization that sometimes you need to take matters in your own hands and that's why he killed Choi Doha. This will make him a better Big Mouse if there is a season 2. I hope there is because I still want to see Chaiman Kang psycho son make an appearance and an even bigger and better storyline. I wish they had made this 24 episodes instead of sixteen that would have tied up loose ends gave us a better plot line and brought the son in the picture and Big Mouse could haven taken him and Choi Doha out.
