Love this drama
If you are into light-hearted drama romance, this will be the one. Most of the scenes are pretty funny and cute. The story itself is not something news, but the chemistry of the characters is the best. This is the first time I’ve seen a historical drama with lots of kissing scenes, I love it.The drama is quite short, I’d wished it could be longer cause I still haven’t gotten over the cuteness of the 2 main casts. This is also my first time watching Zheng Ye Cheng, and I’m totally in love with his acting. Anyway, I’ve re-watched this drama more than 5+ times and still enjoy it every time.

Sigh. The most basic, draggy, idiotic story. Thank god it was only 22 episodes which I still ended up watching at 2x speed cos it gave nothing. The sassy FL was cringe that even the pretty ML couldn't appease the irritation I felt at the story. Zheng Ye Cheng never fails to make girls fall in love with him!
Hmm how should I put this... I just completed this drama and I would say the only thing that made me stay on with this drama are the casts' good acting and overall good character styling. Really not so much of the story because it's really nothing new nor exceptional... For a low budget romance drama, I wouldn't recommend watching with too much logic because obviously people are watching it for all the artificial sweet moments and main leads' good looks.What I don't really get it was the episodes towards ending where Prince Guang Ping joined hands with the crown prince of Yi Gu... Like everything just seems to be a child's play and overcame so easily when it's actually a rebellion that could get everyone killed... And why did the scriptwriters add so many unnecessary "comical" scenes for the Yi Gu crown prince when he is indeed a very sly yet careful person...
And maybe because so many scenes were deleted from the original filming, a lot of lost links between scenes and pacing really made me kinda lost!

Nice romantic drama
Nice romantic drama with an uncomplicated plot with nice acting of the main leads and a happy ending. What more to add.I love the acting creations of Zheng Ye Cheng, who has a great presence, but also skillfully shows emotions.
He's cute in the romantic scenes. Lead actress Yuan Bing Yan also did very well, and the two of ZYC had great chemistry.
What can I say, crystal yuan and zheng ye cheng have good chemistry and they both portray each other's characters very well... congrats to them.....The other actors did well too....
Its enjoyable drama for me... bring all the emotion .. sad.. happy...funny... romantic
All in all, a very entertaining piece. Looking forward to the actors future dramas!

Came Here To See Another Of Zheng Ye Cheng's Drama & He Didn't Dissapoint As An Actor
Zheng Ye Cheng was the reason I came here and I of course loved looking at him, but when it comes to romance in the drama FL was the one more invested in their relationship and it showed. It reminds of the saying, one person in a relationship is always more devoted, that's gotta be the Sassy Princess here. Although when I read the Synopsis of the drama, I expected that she pursued him first I also thought that he would fall a little harder but I didn't see the same kind of reciprocation.He was one of the ML's that always need to be prodded by the secondary characters to take action. Left to his own devices, the FL would probably end up married to the another guy. Since I had just completed the sleepless princess before this, I already hated the trope where they marry someone else, so her marrying another guy didn't sit well with me. But it wasn't as emotionally charged as the scene in Sleepless Princess. Mostly because the marriage didn't happen.
Acting wise, all did a good job. Kinda hated the FL's father, his sacrificed his family for his ambition and still ended up being forgiven by his daughter. He pretty much held the gun that killed his wife.
Would I watch it again? Maybe.

High Chemistry Couple are amazing and charming!!!
I was watching two dramas at the same time My sassy princess and WRTW till episode 3 . I dropped the other one and went on to watch My Sassy Princess till the end. Here are some reasons.1. The stunts and martial arts are excellent though it doest show any effects like the WRTW. It still very pleasing in my eyes and Im entertained.
2. The FL is fun to watch and is very charming! 100% . Her smile and her eyes! Really seem natural so Im drawn by it. It touched my heart.
3. The ML is very good looking and his eyes really are very expressive. Both couples charisma and chemistry are high. compared too that of WRTW couple i feel that they are good as siblings no special feelings.
The ML has an excellent martial arts moves too.
4. The story was never dragging. it is on point and not complicated at all.
5. Even this drama production is not costly as the other dramas. It managed to entertain or provide quality and heartfelt story.
I felt the drama much more than my eyes can see.

Lighthearted and sweet
This was a nice watch, nothing to heavy but completely sweet and cute, I will say this though I feel that the last 3 episodes feel really rushed. It was not too bad but still felt rushed.The acting was really done well with the leads of this show, even the sides, the interactions were so cute and funny. I have not laughed this hard in a while, and I am glad that I waited for the show to be done to watch it all in one go. Honestly if I had to wait I would go crazy. All in all it was a great watch just to relax too, as long as you aren't looking for something that is to deep and serious.

Primae noctis with the wrong guy was narrowly avoided.
Before I start complaining, I want to acknowledge that overall it's a nice drama that can be enjoyed without much frustration. Here goes:The ML-FL relationship was volatile. She loved ML, but later she wasn't sure. He, on the other hand, loved her after a start-up period and then wholeheartedly. FL didn't want to take it that far. She rejected marriage with ML. For her part, the relationship was intended to be superficial and temporary. The loud lovey-dovey on the part of FL was therefore for the cat, the upright ML, who does not love easily, one could feel sorry for. One could have shouted at him: leave the bride, find something better.
The psychology of the main characters is therefore not very believable, it grew on the crap of the writer-girls. According to the mood of the day and gut feeling.
One could cynically say to the princess: By marrying the culturally challenged Tuo Ba Lie, she has found someone with whom she can spend her whole life until the end. She had refused this with Shen Yan.
Towards the end, however, FL overflows with declarations of love and marriage wishes. There is a lot of catching up to do. Here, their love is reworked, which could not really convince before.
But in the end everything turns out well, for everyone, and there is a nice happy ending, what more could you want.
The main actors, but also the others were good. And Yuan Bing Yan has the most beautiful mouth anyway. That's why it's okay to watch the series. Only: why is Shen Yan a vegetarian? What is wrong with him?

Just like the title it was prefect ??
There are a few run about spoilers about the characters and not what happens. I found this drama to be refreshing even if it had the traditional bad people/family,murder, rebellion and love. Being only 22 episodes it was packed with emotions of happiness, funny, a few tears, yelling at the TV and completed with no cliffhanger. I found the cast chosen to be perfect for the characters they portray with great chemistry when needed. The music/Oost were on spot to the theme and episodes. We had the good then bad Prince Liu guangping who wants to rebel against his brother the Emperor and nephew CP Liu wang for the throne. Then we have the sasdy, fun, lively and cute Liu Ling aka Princess chang le that helps her cousin keep the throne against a man known as her father. She meet and fall in love with Shen yan military leader and does everything to win his love and their chemistry and relationships is A+. We also have the Lady in waiting Xu shin "Jin" who is very smart and strong willed fighting to clear her XU family name of treason. Jin isnt aware that Shen yu is helping and protecting her disguised as the" ghost" they were childhood sweethearts and he never stopped waiting for her. The final couple is Luo Fan (Shen yan Rt hand man) and Ling bei (Liu ling handmaid/friend) they are young, innocent and its so cute to watch there relationship grow into love. The story has many plots of good and evil intentions, but at the same time they don't drag it out. Great fun watching Good looking stars... I have probably rewatch 3/4 drama as there are so many out there so i marked 5 in between.Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful, light romantic drama
Many reviews seem to say the same, this is a glorious drama - light, funny, romantic drama with a tintish of action.The acting in this by the leads and supporting cast was excellent. Yuan Bing Yan's character is very well played, a spoiled and strong-willed princess who is just determined to get the man she wants. I am a fan of Yuan Bing Yan, she has played in a wide range of character roles and she just seems to excel in them. The supporting cast here isn't just sideline, they deliver some great little moments in the show and will get you giggling.
The storyline isn't overly complicated but it is enough to keep the story flowing. This isn't a very long drama in comparison to the other C-Dramas so it does move at a decent speed for those who do not like draggy C-Dramas.
Overall, I like this drama. You can sit down and watch this without over thinking and trying to work things out. Nice feel-good drama.

Cute, Funny and Fairly Short and Easy to Watch.
There are a lot of Princess Historical C Dramas and this is one of the cuter and funnier ones. I will admit, I’m not a super fan of the FL chasing after the ML, but she does do it in a very aggressive and adorable way.The main couple are very pretty and the chemistry is good. The ML does push her away a lot because that is the storyline, so be ready for that. I do love the costumes and hair, especially the ML and that was a mega win for me.
Zheng Ye Cheng was also in The Sleepless Princess too, but I liked him in this role better. Maybe because I liked the styling and storyline more. He’s very tough and masculine in this drama, so if you like that, you won’t be disappointed, just watch the trailer for a skin scene. Yuan Bing Yan is very cute and a very strong FL. She knows what she wants and she is willing to take it.
The drama is fairly short at 22 episodes so it’s easy to watch and binge. I think it’s worth picking up, just for that alone. Overall, funny, cute and with good looking actors.
