Yuan Shanjian..... Hope he find a good wife for his temperament. I know it's too early but I want Niaoniao to hv good relationship with He Zhaojun and ofc A'yao. They wld make a good ally. Not A'yao stuck btwn both Buyi and Shanjian :'''). Buyi was sooo nice defending Niaoniao... Idk about her tho, myb she was mad abt something or had a misunderstanding with him.

Not only is LBY totally in lover with CSS, but he is protective of her and will defend her honor even if it breaks with etiquette. In this way, I think she will feel his regard and love for her, if she doesn't already know. But, the cattiness of these court ladies - I can totally do without. "Mean Girls" in historical outfits.
I still haven't figured out Yuan Shen. I think he also admires CSS, but has not actually indicated that he likes her. I think he and Yang Yang would make a better couple.

slowburn but interesting. Zhao lusi bags it again..she has wonderful chemistry with everyone. the comic scenes are well timed. all characters have played their role well
