Episode Title: The Deer Hunt
Qiao Ci arrives in Yunju unexpectedly, and Xiao Qiao meets him right outside the city, accompanied by Wei Yan. Qiao Ci explains his reason for leaving Yanzhou and their uncle's inane plans for forming alliances throughout the region. With Qiao Ci present, Xiao Qiao was able to clear his name from Lady Yu Lou's accusations. Liu Yan has taken over as Lord of Liang Ya and plans on participating in the Deer Hunt.
As the Deer Hunt gets closer, Qiao Fan worries that they haven't received their invitation. She soon receives a letter from Xiao Qiao and understands that they are no longer invited. She starts making arrangements to send her mother back home. At the Deer Hunt, Lady Yu Lou makes Zi Xin understand that he needs to regain their honor in his fight against Qiao Ci.

I'm so tired of E Huang. Xiao Qiao put E Huang in her place so beautifully, in front of Wei Shao. Liu Yan's lack of mercy towards his younger half-brother made me so angry. It was so funny how Xiao Qiao tripped Wei Shao while he was helping Qiao Ci. Qiao Ci gave off the feeling that he was Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao's child 😻 I hope nothing happens to Qiao Ci during the deer hunt. I would definitely be so sad if he did. I loved Qiao Ci so much 😭😭😭😭

It is truly a shame that BiZhi could not compete at the deer hunt. He would have been awesome. ManMan’s ex is truly evil…he entombed his little brother with the parents he slaughtered. I don’t have words for him. He and peony empress are quite suited for each other but I wish them thrones in hell rather than seeing what collateral damage they are willing to cause. I am happy her bold lie about Ci was found out. I am not sure that will keep him safe from the lackey, but at least he is shown to be an honorable young man. He is about to face his first meanspirited opponent. I hope for him, but the evil ones have been winning lately. I am just hoping no loss of life or limbs with this battle.
