Project Wolf Hunting

늑대사냥 ‧ Movie ‧ 2022
Project Wolf Hunting has a similar sci-fi sub-plot and backstory like in The Witch Part 2. Both include gruesome and supernatural fights. They also both have the whole "human-experimentation" thing going on.

Hot psychopaths and delicious gore ! I love Grasshopper a little more because *spoiler* they don't kill the main sociopath character, right in the middle and then just continue the story with someone else. That bummed me out in Project and totally ruined the impact just for the purpose of a plot twist

So they are both gratuitous and I love it! But where Project Wolf Hunting is about humans literally being treated like pigs, and animals, and thats where the darkness lies. Forest on the other hand, is a little more a lesson on sociopathy.

Both films take place on a ship where mayhem breaks out and an unsightly monster picks people off one by one.

While Sea Fog is no where near as gory as Project Wolf Hunting, both these films take place on a boat and involve mass murder and chaos.

Okay so Zebra is just one of my favorite, go to MESSED UP movie. The gore is just unbelievable and kind of gives you existential dread, but with that dread is more powerful than Project Wolf Hunting where the gore is gratuitous but more guilty pleasure than DISTURBING.

The tone and vibes to these films are totally different but they remind me of each other in terms of the human experimentation aspect, as well as there being a whole special ops team of people trying to track down and kill a genetically modified human-thing. Young-nam Jang is also featured in both films.

Both have similar level of gore scenes.
Cold fish is about a serial killer and project wolf hunting has many criminals who are monsters.
Also cold fish has little mature scenes.
Main diff is Wolf hunting is action packed and ColdFish is drama and bit slow.

If you like to watch gore , lots of blood, dismemberment, you can try both.

Same atory/ plot father and child lives while being supernatural and mother is dead. The father doesn't know that the child is alive and has supernatural powers. Less gore.

You might think i'm crazy as in "why would you recommend this movie to this movie" , some will understand, some will not: these 2 movies have a lot of similarities like you can even imagine the teacher killer in "Lesson of the evil" as a monster because of his merciless and unique behaviour like the actual "monster" in "Project Wolf Hunting". These 2 "monsters" are unpredictable and unstoppable, the only way to survive is either to hide or being bold enough to confront them.
I literally could not predict anything about what was going to happen! This is one impressive and unique thriller that I wont forget.

Both are gore filled action movies, with suspense and twists. There is something going on in the background of the story in both, that suddenly makes its way into the main plot, and leaves with a lot of gore.

The Korean films Project Wolf Hunting (2022) and Time to Hunt (2020) share several similarities:

Intense Survival Thriller – Both movies center on characters trapped in life-threatening situations, fighting to escape relentless pursuers.

Brutal Action & Violence – Both feature extreme violence and raw, high-stakes action sequences that keep viewers on edge.

Hunted by a Relentless Force – In Project Wolf Hunting, criminals on a cargo ship face an unstoppable bioengineered killer, while Time to Hunt’s protagonists are chased by a merciless hitman.

Dark and Gritty Atmosphere – Both films embrace bleak settings with themes of desperation, survival, and the consequences of crime.

Both deliver adrenaline-fueled narratives with relentless tension and intense action.

If you like extremely graphic gore, you will enjoy both the movie and the series. The actors in both are really good.

This movie was so damn scary, violent, gory and frustrating, I still liked it because of the "monster" whom annihilates everyone on his way. Not saying "Connect" has similar plot, but the friend of Irang made me think of this movie: they're both merciless when killing villains.

In both movies the protagonists have supernatural powers after the experiments on them (such as extreme force, wound immunity etc... )There are some violent and splatter scenes.
