Kunio Mizuki, a longtime lawyer, decides to retire after his wife dies. However, he is soon asked for a favor by a man named Tachibana. He wants him to become a lawyer for Junya Aiura, a man accused of molestation and murder. The case is so important to him because Tachibana's son committed suicide through a similar and wrongful accusation. He also has suspicions, that the wrong man was charged this time as well.
