Fun watch that didn’t really drag much. It follows your typical revenge drama formula with some focus on acupuncture and herbal medicine used as the MC's weapons of choice.The main character, Phing, is very likeable and you feel the pain and anguish she goes through from being conned and then left for dead with her loved ones. I was totally absorbed in her quest for revenge. For me, the best part was watching the baddies eventually back stab each other as Phing set up her traps for them. Watching them suffer is satisfying, ok lol. Some characters I felt like got off way too easy for what they did, but in 12 episodes, the writers did their best with them.
Loved the ending. It’s like finally being able to exhale after watching Phing go through so much shit and being patronized along the way. A story can’t be good without having an MC I can be invested in, and Phing is a fantastic MC.
Doesn’t hurt that the supporting characters and especially the actors playing the bad guys brought their A-game, too. Art, Bee N, Victor and Duangta all slayed in their roles.

Revenge done RIGHT.... "Fatsuit" done WRONG.
I ADORED this amazing revenge lakorn! Just hoping next time they hire someone who has actually seen a "fat" person IRL or knows more about special effect makeup outside of a horror genre... 🙏Let me say this. THIS is what REVENGE looks like. So. Good. I adored this drama but...
So... I"m just going to be the person to say it. Let me preface by saying I LOVED the FL.. loved the drama & loved how true to her revenge the FL was. Period.
BUT... that "fat suit" Lord have MERCY.
1. Does no one on that drama team know what a heavy/overweight person looks like? Is it THAT terrifying?
2. Did NO ONE on the team try to STOP the "special effects" person...??? did seriously NO ONE do a double-take and say... "uh, guys... I'm not sure her face looks remotely OK"???
3. Dudes... her "fat face" looks like they took a GIANT PLASTIC CHIPMUNK and CGI'd that bitch on top of her face. It's SO plastic-like and unnatural that I literally wanted to quit watching the drama JUST because of how weird and unnatural it looked. Just WHYYYYYYY????
Ok.. I'm done. But... y'all... no one else agrees??? 😱😱😱

One of the BEST revenge plots + subtle BL
This may or may NOT contain spoilers, depending on how you perceive it. However, I won't spoil the story; I'll just share a few character interactions and my thoughts on it.*Story Plot*
-INCREDIBLE in my opinion. The scheming and plotting are mind-blowing because it's not just some basic revenge plot, NAH the female lead used "legal methods" to slowly kill those who conned her and disguised herself as someone who, on the outside, is being helpful but on the inside is trying to get the criminals to slowly destroy each other.
If you've seen it, you know how elaborate the plan is.
What made me so angry is how the bad guys got away easily just because they could LIE. One of the characters IMO has serious brain damage to believe in their lies after being tricked by them several times.
-Tagged FL turned evil, she really showed who's BOSS and saw through the revenge plot to the end, even when her family members told her to stop. Eventually, FL - Mei realized that the revenge wasn't worth this much loss and decided to face the consequences. The lakorn hints at concepts of morality and forgiveness (no, this isn't AI-generated), not for the sake of others but for our own happiness. The ending was humane and ended perfectly (although it would have been nice to see those two get married).
*Characters/Acting*
-The acting was really good, freaking Nisa (main antagonist) really got on my nerves when she was skeptical of literally everything and everyone. Can't underestimate how horrible a person she could get. But Foei, her husband, gave me chills because when he got what he deserved, his acceptance of his faith was sad to watch, and when he cried and smiled for the first time after receiving forgiveness, I cried. I guess that's what makes us human. It shows that even if it's justified punishment, when you see the criminals in pain and writhing under the weight of their crimes, you can't help but feel sorry for them.
-IMO, the male lead (Cho) could have been expressed better as a character. He didn't get major character development like the FL. Basically, he tried to find out the answers to all the odd things that have been happening just to be spoon-fed the answers to him LOL. But he did redeem himself at the very end, A+ effort for trying.
-Handsome actors, with subtle BL interactions, were what made this show so unexpected and worth the rewatch. I won't tell you who x who but if you don't like it, interpret it as human compassion, brotherhood, partners in action, whatever u feel like.
Overall: I love this lakorn, really enjoyed watching it with my mom and seeing the bad guys die in horrific ways too. Worth the rewatch in the future when my memory starts to fade. Hope you enjoyed this :)
