BEST KDRAMA 2022
love the cast. Brilliant. Beautiful and great actors. Ive become a fan of them. This last episode 6 was HILARIOUS!!! I couldn't stop laughing. bwahahahha Im sad it only has 12 episodes but I love this kdrama. This has become one of my favs. GENIUS directors and writers. I highly recommend if looking for romance and comedy dramas. HILARIOUS episode and loving what's happening so far. can't wait for next week already.
As for the music, I haven't gotten stuck on any song yet like I would normally do on some dramas like the Heirs. I think the most important thing is that viewers are enjoying it. I hope main characters will continue playing main roles in other shows. Thank you

Clichè yet Interesting
I read the webtoon and even finished it before planning to watch the adaptation. There's seriously a lot of changes in the storyline but I think I kinda like it that way to also bring more depth to the story because honestly, after watching the first few eps of the shows, I realized how vague the flow of the story of the webtoon can be and predictable as well. It was really all sunshine and rainbows in the webtoon, but I love the comedy in it and the interaction of the characters. I also believe that there will be more backstories and character developments in the adaptions since not so much was emphasized in the webtoon. As of now, I love the set-up and the improvisations in the story. High expectations for this drama also with its realist outtake for the Secretary and how his romance will also develop. Hope to not be disappointed in the next eps BECAUSE THIS IS A DEFFO WATCH FOR EVERYBODY who likes BALANCED ROMCOM and DRAMA, and OFFICE ROMANCES as well. Was this review helpful to you?

The Romance is Steamy and They Didn't Skimp on The Humour
While I didn't expect to like it since it uses a lot of tired tropes (chaebol ML, poor FL, office romance, etc.)- its over-the-top approach to satirizing itself and its genre is what makes it great. The male lead isn't a heartthrob to me, so that part is a little lost on me, but the female leads are really well-written. Overall, the romance is steamy (for a K-drama) and the comedy is not lacking. Business Proposal is everything that I need in a RomCom. It is possibly on par with Shopping King Louie! Was this review helpful to you?

amazing
yes, i am a sucker for cliches and this kdrama really just hit what i was looking for.fake dating to real dating, enemies to lovers, BEST FRIENDS DATING BEST FRIENDS?? the tropes get better and better.
the friendship between shin hari and jin young seo was so cute and same with the brotherly relationship of kang taemoo and cha sunghoon.
the casting was INCREDIBLE. literally my four favourite actors being in the same drama.
also this needs to be said but the ost for this drama is the best ost ever. i am absolutely obsessed with love maybe by melomance. such cute lyrics and also the fact that kim se jeong (who played shin hari) covered it was also amazing.
ive also rewatched it at least 30 times (probably even more)
1000000000% recommend if your also a sucker for cliches 😊

fun rom-com!!
(April 2022) This was so freaking cute: I loved every second of it. I randomly started this drama and it was exactly what I needed: cute, sweet, fun and good humour. You just have to fall for all the different characters necause they were toooo likable. Loved out main couple a lot as they gave me lots of swoonworthy moments, but I also reallyreally loved the second lead couple (which is usually rather rare lol). But Yeong Seo and Ha Ri both had such chaotic bestie vibes while the guys were calm, it was really fun to watch their dynamics. The humour wasn't overdone, the drama has the perfect amount of cringe and ridicule without going too overboard. To me, this is the perfect light-hearted K-Drama.My only criticism is that the ending felt a little too rushed, I would have liked one or two more episodes but other than that I really enjoyed this drama and can definitely recommend it. I have rewatched it twice already because it is such a comfort for me <33.
(August 2022 rewatch impressions) Every time I rewatch this drama, I know (again) why I love it so much: it’s easy to watch, fun, lighthearted and romantic. Truly something that soothes my soul<3(second rewatch).
(November 2024) Infinite rewatch haha! Still so, so fun and cute, I love this show so much. I laugh out loud so many times and just embrace the slight cringe🤣✅. Only thing is that Ahn Hyo Seop is a little stiff to be honest, but I love the show regardless!

A Business Proposal
Shin Ha Ri (actress Kim Se Jung) is single and works for a company. She has a friend that she has been in love with for a long time.
Shin Ha Ri feels sad and decides to meet her friend Jin Young Soo (actress Sol In Ha), who is a member of the Chaebol family.
Jin Young asks Shin Ha Ri to go upstairs for a blind date and even offers to pay her. Shin Ha Ri accepts her friend's proposal. She goes on a blind date as Jin Young Soo, intending to be rejected by her date.
Seeing her date, Shin Ha Ri is amazed. Her date is Kang Tae Moo (actor Ahn Hyo Soop).
The CEO of the company she works for. Kang Tae Moo is the CEO of the company his grandfather founded.
One day, his grandfather informed him of an upcoming blind date that he had scheduled for him. Kang Tae Mo is a workaholic and is angry that his grandfather is setting him up on blind dates. He decides to marry the next woman he goes on a blind date with, so that she will no longer interfere with his work. The woman is this Shin Ha Ri, pretending to be Jin Young Soo.
The day after the meeting, Shin Ha Ri receives a phone call from Kang Tae Moo. He asks him to marry him.
The funniest and most interesting part was that she went to meet him for the first time on a date.

Very witty and sometimes touching
An very enjoyable watch, that combines an attractive cast, witty dialogue, totally mad moments, OTT aspects and characters, some touching moments and lashings of cheese! It's a perfect watch for anyone wanting a light romance that has been seriously put together, but with tongue planted firmly in cheek.
The ML's upright character amidst all the shenanigans, slowly thawing, was fun to see.
The only aspect that spoilt it somewhat for me, was the total lack of any disguise used by the FL's character when standing in for her best friend.
OK, the assumed likelihood of her ever running into the blind date again played a part, but one would have expected her to have at least donned a wig in the same colour and style as her friend! She was, after all, impersonating her and for all they knew, he had some idea of what she looked like.
The outcome of a major element to the plot, later on, was also disappointingly concluded, like it was an after thought.
Small niggles though, in an overall very entertaining ride.

I like it…
So, it’s been a while(like 4 months) since I’ve watched anything other than a Thai drama or BL.. so I’m going to try to review this fairly.Overall it’s a great story. Though it’s a pretty common story trope for kdramas, I liked how it didn’t start the typical way. I also like how unlike usual, where they fight and deny feeling for a long time, and then eventually get together, and something “breaks them up” temporarily before they work it out and switch into heavily being a couple. Instead, they are simple and wholesome and light, while still staying hidden, mostly for the sake of reputations on both ends.
My only real issue was that then ending was very anticlimactic and underwhelming. I didn’t enjoy the fact they had him be gone for a year, drop a potential cheating scandal, and then have him show up and propose all in the last 5 minutes of the show. Not to mention, they never really say what happens with Jin Young Seo and her father, or between her and Cha Sung Hoon. They mention her taking a year off, but for what? And she calls him her boyfriend at the end, so does that mean the engagement was off? Or on hold? I just feel like it needed one more episode to really wrap things up.
All this said, I did really enjoy it for it being my first kdrama in a while.

Kinda of boring but fun overall
Personally I’ve outgrown the cliche dramas and I only watched it because it was all over my fyp and all over my instagram and people around me were watching it as well so I gave it a try and I didn’t feel like it was amazing because the plot is very similar to some other rich-ceo-poor-hard-working-girl kdramas but anyway some parts were good and one part did make me want to cry a little. I did like the second lead couple I think just because their romance was a bit unexpected it made me like it more. Was this review helpful to you?

Pure Fun and Charm—A Workplace Romance That Delivers
Business Proposal is exactly what I was hoping for—lighthearted, hilarious, and incredibly entertaining. Since I love dramas with a boss-employee dynamic, I knew I had to give this one a shot, and thankfully, it did not disappoint! Both Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Se Jeong brought their characters to life beautifully. While the chemistry wasn’t a perfect 100, their performances made up for it. Kim Se Jeong’s comedic timing was fantastic—her playful antics had me laughing throughout the series.
This drama doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s what makes it such a joy to watch. It’s the perfect balance of romance and humor, offering a feel-good escape for anyone craving a refreshing rom-com. With all that said, Business Proposal absolutely earns a 9.5/10 from me!

A typical story but outstanding cast and acting
I started watching this drama because I happened to go through its webtoon once and when it came out everyone was hyping it so I was curious.I will be straightforward; the drama was overall average. The story was nothing unique and is kind of predictable. The comedy was nice most of the time but can also be overbearing, like some of the scenes are just way too illogical and embarrassing you'd definitely also get second hand embarrassment for the female lead because of the situations she's put in with a certain character... Adding that the ending was truly not that satisfying; they could have made it feel less rushed.
The cast and their acting however was absolutely amazing. The chemistry between the leads was nice, especially the secondary couple. They had moments even off camera if you check bts and other clips of them.
The average rating is mostly because this is not really my cup of tea; I prefer shows that have a balanced fill of seriousness, mystery and comedy, while this show was mostly predictable and comedic.
