The second installment follows the Sakurai quintuplets in their second year of high school. As they steadily grow more independent, handling their studies, romances, future plans, and even friends’ problems on their own, parents Sakurai Momoko and Sakurai Ryosuke are left feeling increasingly lonely. Part-time jobs, group dates, and complicated friendships give the parents plenty to worry about as they watch their children navigate adolescence. Yet despite their concerns, they sometimes get brushed off with an irritated “You’re so annoying!”, leaving Momoko wondering, “What has my life been up to now?” And this time… it’s Momoko who launches a rebellion?!
