One of my all-time favorite shows
I just finished Bad and Crazy, which I had to force myself to spread out over several days, because it is so engrossing. I loved it from the beginning, but now I am fully obsessed with this show. The story is completely unique (from what I've seen) — the main character's mental illness, as well as that of his nemesis, is pretty much the central focus of the story. We see Ryu terrorized by his alter ego, K, at first, but they learn to work together toward a common goal, and ultimately, come to love, understand, and heal each other. It is beautiful and touching to watch someone explore their deepest fears and traumas and actually make such incredible progress in overcoming them.
The villain in the show is a worthy opponent for Ryu, and he is just pure evil in the way he manipulates and destroys people for his own gain. It is intensely frustrating to witness him get away with so much for so long, but Ryu's strength and pure heart manages to overcome his evil and insane intentions. I LOVE psychological thrillers and psychopath content in crime shows, and this was one of my favorite examples of this genre.
Ryu and K are just so loveable, funny, strong, and just plain dreamy! I'm totally in love with Ryu and can't wait to watch him in something else. I hope we get a season 2 as well.
10/10 recommend to anyone who likes psychological thrillers or crime shows.

One of my favorites
Genuinely enjoyed the grittiness of this drama. I will say that there is a misconception (a few) about the disorder DID. Which is dissociative identity disorder which in the show is referred to as an “alter ego” do some research after you watch and it will make sense. I have watched this show a total of 2-3 times and each time I enjoy it.Paired with my two favorite Korean actors it was really unexpected but I loved it when the show was released. Anything these two play in always turns out to be amazing.

Someone in industry is crazy. It was a wild ride for sure, a little hard to follow till I figured it out.
If the two male leads are not friends from appearing together in this film, I would be sorry. Not much romance as all us fabs are of Lee Dong Wook , but still his acting is stellar . Loved the brotherhood formed from male leads in show . And the Beautiful smiles of both of them . I pray they have won great recognition from industry in these roles. It would be great to see them again making another film together. Please watch all who have not done so, I will watch many times. Oh almost forgot the action scenes were fantastic . Great ride with show .

A mix of emotions, you laugh a lot, I loved it!
a mix of emotions, you laugh a lot, I loved it! everything is covered perfectly, from bad to good events, this iconic duo was certainly one of the best pens. Incredible and funny cast, Lee Dong-wook proved to be an excellent actor where he shows that he knows how to act in other areas, it's not just with romantic dramas that are 1000 for him. And what a duo he and Wi Ha-joon rocked when working together. Together it's guaranteed comedy despite the drama being a mystery and action has the lightness of the duo. It's worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?

"Bad and Crazy" is a comedy drama about Su Yeol, a man who discovers he has a dual personality called K, who basically only knows how to get into trouble and ruin his life. The two have to learn to live together and work together to catch criminals. It was really funny to see Su Yeol completely naive, watching everything K did, without having any idea that he was the one doing everything, with K controlling his body. At first he hated that K was controlling him, but then he ended up asking for his help on several occasions... that's how a beautiful friendship began.
I wasn't expecting much from the drama when I started watching it, the story started off kind of rushed, but the moment K showed up, I instantly fell in love. Seeing K driving Su Yeol crazy, showing up at the worst possible times, causing trouble and being amazing was truly a delightfully hilarious experience. The scene of them riding a bike together is really funny, but this relationship isn't just about that.
The story reminded me a lot of "Kill Me, Heal Me", just like Do Hyun, Su Yeol was abused as a child and this made him create K, a personality to help him escape that nightmare, since he didn't think he could do it alone. As the drama progressed, Su Yeol realizes that K was always by his side to help him, his personal superhero, with his own uniform and he also understands that he doesn't need K to save him, that he is strong enough to deal with any problem that comes his way. That's exactly what makes the end of the drama so special. Su Yeol doesn't abandon K, he realizes that K is not something he can discard now that he doesn't need him anymore, the scene where Su Yeol goes after K and hugs him, shows him accepting himself completely.
Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon formed the best bromance I could ever imagine <3

REALLY REALLY GOOD.
i recommend this to anyone who loves action mixed with comedy. because oh my god, there are so many scenes in here that will simply make you burst out laughing. the chemistry between the actors is just wow, chefs kiss! top tier actors, plot also reminded me of fight club lowkey, it was super funny and easy to get into.characters are so easy to like, romance isnt a primary factor in here which is probaby why i liked it so much because it mostly focused on K and ryu soolyeols friendship and how they eventually get along with each other and become badass.the side plot where K falls for the girl is so hilarious though, i really enjoyed it...lol

Found family in an amusing way
Now, I'm not sure if this is a based opinion, but I absolutely love this drama. I love the big twist of the whole show. Not to mention the relationship that is formed afterwards. It's slow, but it's so satisfying to watch the two come together, work together, and even though He is who He is, they care for each other in their own odd way. #selflove. It had a great combination of romance, surprise, twists, found family, and comedy. The actors and character dynamics were all perfect and spot on. Everything fit together perfectly. I loved this drama, and I can't wait for a season 2.

Best Duo
Man, I was really hooked on this drama. It was so funny, and I love how it delved into trauma. There was comedy, action, bromance, and friendship.
They're the best Duo. The romance was very little in this, and as a bl/bromance girlie, that was pretty great. It left room for me to fangirl over the two together. Best bromance, and given they're both eye candy, that made it even more fun. I love the Main lead in other dramas, and he is just as amazing in here.
Even if others don't think this drama lived up to the hype, I say forget all of that stuff and watch it as is. It was so so good. So emotional and thrilling.
Would I rewatch it? Maybe not. It was one of those I'd rather savor the first time.

Pulp Fiction Feel
I went in here to watch Wi Ha Joon (I just finished Little Women). I'm not a fan of Lee Dong Wook, so I was planning to just fast forward most and just watch scenes with WHJ in it.I find some scenes are too violent and I did fast forward those. But I had problem fast forwarding everything else. I am just floored with Lee Dong Wook and the rest of the cast's performance. The plot and turn of events are so cleverly written. You won't find any draggy moments here.
I'm sad this drama doesn't get as much viewers as what it deserves. I can understand though that it's too violent for some people. But they are filled with effortlessly funny scenes too. The action scenes are awesome and the way this drama is shoot reminds me of Pulp Fiction.
One of my favourite is actually the sessions with the psychiatrist. We can see the doctor-patient relationship growing in intensity.

Bad and Crazy feels like it was directed by Guy Ritchie!
Lots of action and no wasted screen time with useless characters staring at each other and not speaking for 2 minutes.,just killing time to fill those 16 episodes.up...Makes me feel stupid for watching them frankly!
So far no one has given another a piggy-back ride...that's a 10 right there!
There have been no senseless group crying fests.. That's another 10 for that!
....But I'm only on episode 3 so we'll see about that.
All of the characters are really well acted and easy to get invested in. Good guys, bad guys, they're all fun to watch.
But what I find the best about this show is the action. It's rare to find a show lately with this fast pace that doesn't involve zombies.
I'm obviously really enjoying the heck out of this show and it is a welcome relief !
Now that I've completed this I'm in tears that it's over. I'm really gonna miss these guys it was such a fun ride!

Things that got me excited and atecipated
"Bad and Crazy", the title of this drama, can not be more perfect, even before the show begins the title is hinting the viewers at the plot and also the events that are going to follow, eventually unveiling the main plot and as to what one should be expecting to watch. The title is not ambiguous in any way it is the most straightforward title I personally have ever come across. If you are choosing to watch this drama you should be well and ready for what is awaiting you. This drama is addictive in many ways and will keep you up all night thinking of the various possibilities that the plot may or can explore, I would suggest that its best to not watch this drama now when it is running, but once it ends premiering that way you will have at least some peace of mind.
This drama is made to be binge-watched, I am telling you if you don't binge-watch this drama it is definitely not worth it, waiting for a week to watch the next part is not the greatest feeling. I am not a fan of this genre, violence is not my cup of tea but this drama is fun to watch by that I mean like many other k-dramas this drama too is not only focused on one genre but is exploring other genres too.
Now, for why I am writing this review, this may or may not be a spoiler but from my assessment, the plot will be something like so Ryu Soo Yeol (played by Lee Dong Wook) is probably suffering from Dissociative identity disorder (DID), s a mental health condition. People with DID have two or more separate identities. These personalities control their behaviour at different times. Each identity has its own personal history, traits, likes and dislikes. His headaches, loss of memory, no clear evidence of the presence of another person even though he mentions having seen someone, and getting beaten up by that same person are what are given in the first two episodes. The end of the second episode gives us a clue. K (played by Wi Ha Joon) can be one of the other identities that he may have. His sense of guilt, self-righteousness, his survivalist attitude that he needs to have to survive in the rotten environment due to his educational background and other reasons (which may get unveiled to us in future) is what makes him create a second personality. There can be more identities too, who knows may we get shocked in future. But the plot of this drama is so exciting that analysing it is too fun to do as well. (DISCLAIMER, ALL THIS IS MY OWN DEDUCTION, MAY OR MAY NOT HAPPEN, WILL GET TO KNOW MORE AS THE DRAMA PROGRESSES).
We can expect a lot from this drama ie., for sure what a way to end this year.
